Shun Umezawa reflects japanese society in his mangas (sometimes in a very pesimistic way) and Utopias is no exception. In this manga we find 9 short stories where the author touches a wide range of topics such as love, social relations, mass control... But he does it with his signature: absurdity, dark humour, metaphors and ridiculous situatios are a few of the resources Umezawa uses to trasnport the reader into a vast espectrum of feelings where he/she can find its own explanation of the story.
