Both main characters helps each other to overcome their weaknesses and they have huge trust between each other (Hinata with kageyama, Abe with Mihashi). The humor, style and the feelings of the games are pretty similar. Not like the usual sports manga, the characters are well developed and both have pretty detailed information of strategies, game rules and other game-related explanation. Both are unique, have light atmsophere and fun to read

Similar music, both involves Economics (Micro and Macro), the art is pretty similar with medieval setting, the interaction between two characters is fun to watch, Holo and Maou likes to tease the male main characters, there are many psychological,intelligent and insightful conversations which provide us a different perspective on how to see things. Directed by the same director, Holo's voice actress is also Maou's voice actress, the same also applies to Yuusha's voice actor. The singer who did the OP of Spices and Wolf 2, also perform the ED for Maoyuu. The most important parts are both anime are unique in its own way and the similarities mentioned above create a really similar feel and atmosphere between the two anime.

Both are really unique, have great colorful arts. The plots are deeper than it looks. One is fishing to save the world and one is dealing with fairies and black comedy aspect. Both are funny and fun to watch.

Great art by same manga artist, Takeshi Obata who is also the managa artist who made death note. Stories about chasing dreams. Both main characters are very passionate and determined about their dreams (Mashiro being manga artist, Hikaru becoming pro Go player). Both Hikaru and Mashiro efforts fueled by their wish to surpass their rivals (Nizuma and Toya) and both have partner who always support them (Takagi and Sai). Hikaru no Go have more serious atmosphere, Bakuman is more comedic. If you like Bakuman, you will probably like Hikaru no Go too.

Both are great baseball anime, have great characters, and both pretty enjoyable to watch. Although cross game have more romance and slice of life plot, and ookiku more focused on baseball game itself (teamwork, strategy, technic,etc) i'm pretty sure if you like cross game you'll probably like Ookiku Furikabutte too.
