Except for the dong-slap I can't find anything interesting about this show, and the quality overall ain't that good. If you don't have anything else to watch, read some manga. If you already like this show because you come from the LNs or Manga, then don't read this and enjoy your show. I'm not particularly offended by anything and even if I were I wouldn't let that get in the way of appreciating something, my problem ain't the r*ping and sh*t, my problem is that it's plain stupid.
But people don't have to like your show for you to enjoy it, so that's about it.

With one of the longest tittles I've seen (and I've seen a lot of them), ironically, tells you exactly what this story is about. It rushes like lightning the MC's backstory and we can barely relate to what's happening. It really is one of the laziest mangas I've ever read. You like this type of stories? I was going to truly drop this if it wasn't for the fact that I've been watching since it came out. The ONLY good thing, and that kind of saves a little this season is how they took a core narrative element from the first season and integrated it in the form of re-match at the last chapter to show how the main character is in a different place now, coherently showing it in the result of the match. That is all.

I expected something at least ok-ish regarding this aspect (script, characters, etc), but it feels like the work of an amateur, no, let me rephrase that: it's inherently bad. I don't know what happen to this author but it feels like after Angel Beats! he just didn't want to (or didn't know how) tell nothing else. If you wanted to tell me a story about overcoming ... |
