Both are very bloody anime that involve school students. Corpse Party has more gore and Another has story.

both movies are sci-fies that were really important for their time, and inspired a lot of different shows.

They are two of my favorite series by far. In both stories, the two main characters are similar in many ways, they are opposing each other, one is good, one is evil. They are both masterminds and are trying to outwit the other and are hunting each other, both trying to come out on top. The characters are flipped tho, in Death Note, the main character is evil and in Monster he's good. The story has some similarities too, like mind games, similar psychology, similar supporting characters, and there is murder and investigation in both. Monster has a little slow start compared to Death Note, but when you get to the meat of it, you can really see the similarities. I really hope you check the other out, as I think if you enjoyed one, you most certainly will enjoy the other.

Very similar main characters, the girl tries to protect the boy by being yandere

They are really really similar anime, the art style, story and characters both have some connections that make them similar. The biggest similarity are the fight scenes.

a battle royale concept where the characters try to kill the other ones to win. Both stories have teaming and great fight scenes.

If you liked One Room add

...then you might like Iya na Kao sare nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai add

They are POV series, with some ecchi moments.
