[SPOILER FREE]
First, if you watch this show and had no ideia what is going on, don't worry, everybody is in the same boat, but some people refuse to recognize their ignorance.
Second, this show had so much potential, i can't even express in words how great this show could have been.
Third, Sonny Boy reminds me of an experiment. Some guy made a fake restaurant reviews in a website, they put reviews of people say only good things about the food, the place, etc. Then, he open this fake restaurant with basic itens, like plastic chairs and tables. The restaurant looks real simple, and the food
...
was all made with cheap ingredients. As a result, people where paying a lot of money to eat there and was still writing good reviews, EVEN AFTER he explain that everything was an experiment. You see, it's easy to fool a person. Sometimes you think something is good but it's actually not.
Sonny Boy doesn't tell you anything. This "critic of japan's society" don't convince me, it's the author trying to organize one or two things here and there in the middle of this ocean of confusion. This is so true that the base line story just throw a solution for the main problem out of nowhere, they don't even make an effort to explain to you a minor logic of the thing. This is not a good work, it's bad work.
Another problem in this show is the characters, especially the main ones. It's a suffering to watch the MC zero empathy towards his closest friends. His friend is crying right beside him and he don't even offer a hug, or cry together or something like that. And you know whats even worst? A character ask him to do something especial, but at the end he has two chances of doing that, but chose not to, WITH NO REASON.
At least soundtrack is good. "Seagull" is my favorite. But boy, this was a mediocre show. Don't waste your time.

Mains problem here is that i was thinking this show was main romance, but as a matter of fact is main drama, romance is there just to support the plot a little.
When i saw a lot of fruits basket seasons in top 50 animes here in MAL it get my attention. Since i saw that in top romance i was expecting something at least out of standard and cliche, but after 12 episodes i found myself struggling to keep going in this show, so i decided to be honest and drop.
I would like to start praising this series, i thin the soundtrack and art is
...
truly well made. But when it comes to romance you expect one primordial thing between the main couple, witch is chemistry. They had 25 episodes to build the ground for this and after 12 everything i saw was cliche romcom and a LOT of drama content. I don't think the drama was bad, in fact it's well written, but i think that should focus on more romantic subjects.
About the characters, the personalities of main ones was unfortunately annoying. Tohru is alright cute girl and stuff, her backstory is deep and they tell you with such beautiful moments and scenes. But when it comes to Kyo and Yuki, oh boy, looks like two 5 years old kids fighting, this was so awful to watch. It was hard to feel sexual tension between Tohru and Yuki since he looks like a girl. Even harder to accept this main romantic triangle. But at least Saki was fun and original, there was a couple of jokes with her that i enjoyed.
Anyway, i think my main problem is that i was deceived hahaha. I was hoping to find a romance story but this show is drama, so, i got disappointed.

I wasn't expecting much from this one when i first started. But the author just trow a little rock to you head, saying that something is strange about a persons death. This catch my attention, and for sure everyone else who watch it feels the same.
Summertime Render do what a lot of authors struggles to do, witch is catching your attention around a mystery, character development, immersive plot, etc. I mean, you just don't get bored at any episode and this is such a hard thing to now days. Fanservice is almost not existent and this fit's good for this show genre and theme.
...
And a have to praise the sound effects! That "bell" just give me the chills anytime they where thinking about something.
Anyway, i won't say much, this show deserve your attention! Take a time to watch it and enjoy!

The only positive for this one is the opening, the music stick to my head with only one episode.
This is not anime, it's a power point presentation with sound effects like other user said. There's is no reason do a work like this, only 5 episodes and it's not animated. All the jokes kind looks missing something, it just can't hit same way a tradicional anime does. It feels so weird watching this cus deep down has some potential. If money was short they should try to invest in something else. But his made me interested in the manga, so i will check it out.

I'm surprised with the animation quality here. The majority of episodes has some action and they are lit, the moves, sound effects and visuals in general are really well made.
The plot is simple and i think this is the first time i watch something that feels "not for boys", but for girls. That is a lot of cute and girls stuff on this, so some of you may not be so into it. I think this is why the hole show i was with this strange feeling that something was missing or was different, and i think is this. Don't get me wrong, if
...
this was intentional by the authors i think is positive cus girls can enjoy a female protagonist without the standard shit they always do, and boys can finally see something with a different angle.
If this was intended to boys we would see boys stuff, like a girl they like, videogames or anything a boys is into. But "Lycoris Recoil" put you in a dilema of girls talking about panties and clothes, you know, girl stuff, and i think that just the fact this is a little away from the standard is a plus.
The only thing i'm disappointed is the ending, but you know, i wanna keep this spoiler free so, go check it out cus i'm sure this is a good show.

It's amazing to read the manga first and them watch the movie.
The adaptation is gorgeous, and if you at least like the first season of the show you will for sure like this one. Visual quality is insane, you can see a lot of effort here. They put some explanation that wasn't necessary cus we already know it. They could spend more time dealing whit the time lapse issue. If a character will spend months training, i HAVE to feel his effort. Come on, "Hajime no Ippo" does this in such a perfect way, and it's an manga/anime from the 80's/90's. They could also bring
...
more info or more action with the character we already know but don't see in action in season one.
But even so, soundtrack is good, and the action is breath taking. Plot it's simple but also good, put as a movie was a perfect ideia. People are complaining about comedy moments and visual at some specific points. This is understandable for being a way to put a simple animation and buy screen time to spend more money and effort into the action. But i agreed, wasn't funny to me either.
Anyway, i don't see any reason to not recommend this one aside from not watching anything from Jujutsu Kaisen. If you are completly new to the universe, the go watch season 1 or read the manga, them you come to watch.
Peace out!

[ALL SAFE, NO SPOILERS]
Since it's not finished yet, i'll update this review if my opinion change.
"Maybe Meant to Be" it's a manhwa romcom. Plots is simple, art is pretty, characters has a good development and there are some funny, cute and romantic moments with no fan service. Secondary characters are as good as main ones whit their plot. Personally, i think the author could be a little more fast into the things we want to happen, but i think this is more of a cultural stuff. For them in Korea sleeping in different rooms after wedding is normal, but here in South-Amarica this makes
...
no sense. So, intimate things takes time in this manhwa, but i'm sure you wont regret cus i'm currently in chap 39 and a lot of what we expected in a romcom already happen.
IF YOU SEARCH for something cute, not so rushed, no fan service, funny, romantic, then this is for you.
IF YOU SEARCH for boobs, ass, teasing, fan service in general, fast development for characters and story, then this may not be for you.
Peace out!

[NO SPOILER]
As a manga reader a have to say one thing, "Yofukashi no Uta" is a show who grows over time, it will eventually get DAMN GOOD with some AWESOME fights and action. This first season is just a big introduction, but i have to say, the author could be a little more fast with the plot, but ok, do as say and try to understand his decision and enjoy the show.
Whit that in mind, the visuals are damn good, this "neon vibe" they choose was a plus. It has it's funny moments, characters develop is good and their personality is at least something
...
unique. Like the fact that Nazuna talk about sex and teasing stuff with no shame, but when it's about love and romance? Boy, she can't handle herself. Opening and ending with such a good song, they did a prety good job on that.
As far as the manga is right now (chap 140) the plots has no intent to go on romance stuff, and this may piss off some of you. The romance is there, we know it, but the focus is in the plot around vampires and what exactly are their powers, how far can it gous and so on.
IF YOU SEARCH for romance, cute stuff, kissing, comparing with other romance anime, then this is may not be for you. It has this kind of things, but it's not the focus, you know?
IF YOU SEARCH for a plot around vampires, with a little romance, kissing, teasing, action and fights with vampires and all, then this may be for you.
BE WAREW THAT THE SHOW GOES REEEEEEEALLY SLOW To progress with the plot, BUT I ASURE YOU IT WILL GET GOOD!
oh, and one more thing, they're faithful to the manga, i'm actually impress they don't rush a little bit more.

[NO SPOILER]
I truly don't get it why is such a low score for this one.
Visual quality is pretty good, music is ok, and the story is nothing mind blowing but is interesting and fun in some moments. There is so much trash anime out there, and some of them don't even deliver a kiss, with sevens and eights that this score makes no sense to me.
IF YOU SEARCH for a cute plot, good visuals, kissing, drama, a few comedy moments, and some teeeeeeasing shots, then this is for you.
IF YOU SEARCH for pure romantic, no fan service, deep plot or dramatic moment's, then this
...
is not for you.
[SPOILERS AHEAD]
I saw people complaining about the teasing shots with a towel and boob angles. Jesus guys, imagine you date a pretty person when you was i child, and for childish reasons both of you break up, it's your first time dating so this is expected. Unlucky you still has feelings for that person, and some day you just find out that he or she is going to live with you. It's just natural that, at some point, one of you tease each other. This "fan service" is just that.
Both characters are fighting with this feelings, because deep down they know that the reason for them breaking up was childish, a simple lack of communication. Yume and Irido realize that with time, growing up and looking back to their past. It's really good the fact that it start with tease, then jealousy, a couple of moments together and them a kiss. The author is not so slow and also don't rush into things, and this is such a plus in the sea of shit we watch sometimes. Have you guys watched "Charlotte"? That shit has 7.75 score, and is the most confusing plot and a shitty romance they just force you in the end. The team behind "Charlotte" just don't give a shit anymore, do they?
Anyway, i'm not say much more. "Mamahaha no Tsurego ga Motokano datta" delivery something relaxing and cute to watch. It sure worth the time. Hope the new viewers give this show a chance and change this ridiculous score.
Peace!

Review part 1 - NO SPOILERS
Animes are just like food, may taste good for you or may not, some people like chocolate, others just don't understand how someone can enjoy such thing. This anime it's nothing revolutionary, it try to reach two audiences, juvenil and adults, whit only 10 episodes. And they do and excellent job. Applause for the team behind this challenge.
"Don't trust anyone in Night City."
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners keep the fidelity to the cyberpunk genre, a future good for few and bad for many, betrayal, government secrets, corruption, no justice. This anime is a deep dive into this alternative reality that promises instant dopamine,
...
but at a high price.
IF YOU SEARCH FOR adult content, gore, nudity, romance, action, tits, sex scenes (quick but explicit), gunfight, tragedy, drama, implants and all the cyberpunk vibe, then this anime is for you.
IF YOU SEARCH FOR something more standard, OP MC who kicks ass and beat the shit out of the villain and get that hot chick, saving the day with his friends, drinking in a happy ending, then this is not for you.
Review part 2 - SPOILERS AHEAD
If you think Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is bad because of the ending, then you taste is not for dramatic and more adult stuff. You clearly piss cause the MC is not some 14 OP kid that beat the ass of some 1000 year villain. Beat Adam Smasher was impossible for David, and he knew that. He also knew the path he was taking, same way a smoker does. Put yourself in David shoes and accept that.
Put yourself in Lucy's shoes too. She was trying to protect David. If she tells him about the data with his past, he wold insist on her to stop, leaving him exposed and being hunted by the corps. Her only shot was trying to mess with the data and hide from the netrunners. She spend her life running and hiding, and she finally find someone one she can share a secret, a person who cares for her. I would do whatever it cost to protect that person too.
David made two choices: First, not listening to his mom and friends, second is believing that he was especial or a chosen one. Don't get me wrong, this is a plus for the plot, it cristalizes the "city of dreams" meaning. When Kiwi says "I just made the wrong choices today. There are days when it's just like that.", this apply to David too. Accept the fact that our MC get the sad ending, and it's fine, it was his choice.
Bellow are some positives and negatives:
POSITIVE
a) Break the "happy ending" pattern comparing with others animes in general, with something more dramatic and realistic for the genre;
b) Such a good romance, with kisses, sex and intimate moments. You can see that David care for Lucy, and she for him too;
b1) Explicit content is a plus, there is not so many good adult anime out there;
c) Good development ONLY for the caracteres with enough screen time;
d) Good animation in general, colors, background, etc;
e) Fidelity to the cyberpunk genre;
f) Excellent soundtrack.
NEGATIVE
g) Short time to actually know and get intimate with the characters;
h) Plot is compromised for having only 10 episodes, they should go for 13 but i think it's a budget issue;
i) Opening and Ending has SPOILERS, come on man! I know is not explicit but it was unnecessary;
j) Talking about unnecessary, Rebecca's death has no point. She was fun, cute, faithful to the crew and lost her brother. Besides, she was mature enough to give some advice's to David like a true friend. If you're delivering a dramatic and sad ending for the MC, then is good to keep balance and don't exaggerate killing everyone.
k) Secondary characters death are to fast, and that makes it harder to understand and feel how important that character was for the plot.
l) Plot is not so well explained, i get lost in some episodes.
