This work is not a battle royale cliche you see dozens of times adapted, but a mere mainframe to explore the way of the warrior with heavy character emphasis. From the start it's just 12 people, essentially and aesthetically bound by symbolism ties which alone should have rang a bell for anyone with more exposure to books rather than mainstream media.
