Shiki (Anime) add
I love how Shiki put Vampires and Zombies into one. They rise up from the dead, feed on blood, burn in the sun, and can be killed by destroying the brain or heart.

***I never said that shiki had zombies. But the Shiki themselves have both zombie and vampire attributes. Please learn how to read English.***

story 9/10
The story was great. Though I feel the ending is a major cliff hanger and I wish that there was more detail as to what happened.

art 10/10
I love the detailing in the gore and violence. Very nice.

First things first. I watched Shiki on myanimestream.net and they included the specials in the series itself. As like Episode 20 and 21 I believe it was. So, you don't need to finish Shiki to watch the specials. Its perfectly fine to watch them after 19 and 20...It just gives 2 characters stories.

story 9/10
I am giving the "specials" a rating based on the entire anime itself. Since at the time I wasn't aware of these being cast off as separate episodes.

Elfen Lied (Anime) add
One thing I wanna get straight. "Elfen Lied" is German and it means "Elf's Song". Lied is pronounced LEAD. Not like the lied we use in English when we say "I lied about that". I mean, com'on. After each episode in the preview for the next one, the guy even says Elfen LEAD, not the English pronunciation of lied. Soooo many people say it wrong and it is just sooo annoying...

Anyway. Elfen Lied got cut short because it never really became popular in Japan. It is way more popular in American than in Japan. Not quite sure why that is. I have heard from numerous ...

Another (Anime) add
I wasn't exactly expecting the story to be what it was but I was expecting all of the gore and blood. Quite a disturbing anime in that the way people die. I am now afraid of elevators and the propellers on boats. Haha.

But, Another did include most of my favorite genres. Violence(gory), Psychology, and Super Naturalality (I know that's not a word but guess what, I just made it one.) The only thing left out was love.

If you have a weak stomach or just a mind not used to extravagant gory deaths, then I do not recommend this for you.

The story I gave ...

Blood+ (Anime) add
An amazing anime that can never be forgotten. It always keeps the viewer coming back for more.

Blood+ packs all sorts of genres into one anime, without it feeling packed. You've got your romance, violence, drama and tragedy all in one. Equally balanced and favoring to every kind of person.

Every episode has a cliffhanger and not in a bad way. The ending of one episode makes your mind fill with possibilities and questions and forces you to watch the next episode. That's what I call entertainment.

At first, you might think this anime is just about Saya Otonashi, a teenage girl suffering from memory loss ...

Witchblade (Anime) add
So many people look at this and think that it is an anime made purely for having half naked women run around and taking "fan service" to a whole new level. But that is not the case. At all.

Witchblade is for the pure of heart. For people that can relate to losing a loved one. Every adult I have ever shown this to cried on the first episode, if that tells you anything. And my friend's mom refuses to finish the last 2 episodes because she doesn't want to cry anymore...haha

Personally, I love animes that make me cry. If you are the same, definitely ...

Jigoku Shoujo (Anime) add
Oh, Hell Girl...how I have re-watched you so many times...

First things first. Hell Girl is NOT a horror anime..so if you fear blood and gore, don't worry. Hell Girl features little to none of that. Just the occasionally skulls and blood splatters is all.

Secondly, I loved this anime so much. Its interesting and keeps your brain going. There's always a twist no one expected right around the corner. I have re-watched it about 4 times. Once I even watched it in reverse order....(don't ask....)

In the first 12 episodes or so nothing is really given except that Hell Link is a website of which ...

Code Geass was my first anime that I ever committed myself to. Meaning I started watching this in 6th grade which is when my anime craze began. I absolutely love this anime and the entire story is just phenomenal. It is a serious anime, I'll give you that which makes it hard for many people to watch it if they aren't the type to actually work their brains while watching anime.

It's an amazing story of a certain country who's name has been changed to Britannia probably for political reasons who thinks they are the super god-like country of the world who can take over ...
