Like most harem works, Omaera Zenin Mendokusai doesn't offer anything other than what one would expect: catering to the tastes of the reader.
Like why even bother writing a review for yet another generic harem story amidst the ocean of "romcom" mediocrity. Does anyone actually care who the one dimensional protagonist you're supposed to inject yourself into ends up with? All this is just to showcase the various girls it has to offer, it relies solely on its cuteness to sell. It has no substance, all these flat characters are just downright unrealistic in terms of personality, motives, and actions. There's little and poor justification as

to why sensei is so attractive to the girls other than one's teacher fetish and the others' tastes in mature men. Sensei himself doesn't even come off as particularly mature or intelligent, he just happens to be a teacher and so maturity is implied. His inability to adapt to the quirks of his students and poor handling are far from mature.
Frustration aside, the plot is fairly fast paced with girls trying to one up each other to win sensei's affections. Nothing really serious ever happens and when anything remotely serious does, it leaves little to no impact due to the sheer speed of which it's executed. Then again this is a romantic comedy, it depends on how seriously you choose to take it: A person you've only just met confessing her love to you and being damn genuine about it. Seems like a dream come true, huh? Well that's what the escapist harem genre is meant to do, pull its target audience deeper into the abyss of cute anime girls. This is what fantasy is for, sure, but this is bordering on self-gratifying fanfiction rather than an actual story. If anything, this is the story of teenage girls struggling over their unrequited love. With comedy.
For there to be an actual romance between a teacher and his students wouldn't be a bad idea for a plot, but should be handled with care if one were to take it seriously. It's a heavy topic, as something taboo it would definitely strike as an interesting romance plot. However this is a romantic comedy where any hope of forbidden loving is crushed and the love is purely one sided as the oh so virtuous sensei can never let himself fall for the temptations of his unusual students. We'll leave the audience to fall for them, tantalized by tfw you will never be as lucky as the sensei.
If the shallow humour of unrealistic, hyper exaggerated romantic comedies get to you; or if you just wanna see cute girls and some of the ladies here happen to be your type, then you might enjoy one such work.
I wish I had a cute, bespectacled, lab coat clad girl to obsess over me.
