In case anyone here doubt to watch it because of the CGI, I know it's only 4 episodes past and all, but let me tell you...

Hear me out people. The CGI is surPRISINGLY AWESOME!
The animation, the smoothness, the colors, the concept arts, everything is perfect. I just pray to god it stays this way until the last episode.
Also for those who think they have to watch the original first, it's a reboot which will include more parts of the manga than the original. So you will not miss anything from the story.

I think you will really enjoy this anime, no matter if you are a fan of sports and badminton or no.

Personally I first started this anime because I'm a fan of badminton and I never saw any good anime about it before, honestly I didn't expect much just wanted to watch my underrated fav sport being animated lol.

But little by little the artstyle, the characters, the animaton (specially on game scenes which I think would stop me from enjoying any other badminton anime that will ever come up in future. I don't think they could image a badminton game better than that), and vibe will ... prevent you from stop watching. (Also the ending, man I really like the colors)
The story is simple yet enjoyable, and it is not like other sport anime which is all about practices and matches, since they are salarymans and play for the company and work at the same time and still have their own concerns and life.

I just wished they could show more of their matches (I'm even hopeful for a second season) but since it was a 12-ep series I understand that.

Overall, I will really recommend this show. (man I really hoped for a second season.)

This show entertained me on this season. I'm not sure why this got so low in ranking? But I will talk about It's good parts since you might have been already discouraged to watch.

The CGI were more than what I would expect, it’s so good and it even made the fights way more interesting?
I also liked the main characters' designs I think they were creative. And the show itself were kinda exciting, I also like the comedy.
Honestly I started to watch for Ryuhei I like cute husbandus lol, but little by little I also fell for the bond these kids ... have among each other.
The original soundtracks are beautiful and they even got top on this season's most streamed soundtracks? Seems Japan tend to work on soundtracks more than their actual anime lol

It sometimes gives you the feeling the director could put out some parts in really better ways, or adding more layers; I don't know about the director but it feels like they were more of a game director than an anime. Although it showed some stories about the other characters, still they were characters we didn't get much information about so you actually might go play the game? It seems?

Overall - I didn't get that excited about its game, I might check it out if it cought my eyes in somewhere. I watched this for the protagonist he got a good character but the show in overall lacks in so much points but it's fun to watch.

What can I say, it's a masterpiece, a hidden gem.
It's a pitty there are so many people out there who didn't even hear about it.

It never gets boring and stops giving you more information,
The art is beautiful,
The characters are relatable and so loveable,
a real non-linear story,
It will explain everything and leaves no questions at the end,
and at last the story is perfect, like you wouldn't imagine how interesting can it get.

... This whole not-knowing concept at first was bothering me but little by little I couldn't stop reading cause I was finally going to understand and I think that's Mochizuki's trick and I love it.
Also I thought the art was going to bother me on the first chapters cause it was a little oldish but it changed and Ibecame one of my favourites.

This comes from someone who both watched the anime and read the manga.

It's a good adaption, Bones worked hard to keep the manga scenes and the characters also turned out outstanding. But I'm gonna say the source is more plot-driven than the anime which is a little more queerbating. Noé saved/helped 3 women during these plots and they deleted 2 of them (the only one was necessary for the plot), they deleted some cute fights between Domi and Noé which still not a big deal, and they added some ... dramatic flashbacks of Vanitas while Noé thinking whether he actually wanted to look through his past or not making it sound more gay. Also they deleted one an important fight between Vanitas and Noé which could really help their characters' development and understanding Vanitas's actions better that I think Bones got other plans for that scene.   From the clues I'm gonna say anime would turn out queerbating but it doesn't matter whether they are gay or bi or whatever, they all got their loved ones but at the same time they are close friends and partners who care for each other, giving you some SherlockWatson vibe. It doesn't matter what you like to ship there is even gl couples there for you, it would turn out fine until you don't be toxic.

Also about the manga if you are interested I would really suggest to read it from the first chapter since you would miss things and also the art style is perfect and beautiful so why not.

For the last note I like to talk about the sounds and the music. Voice actors are PERFECT and I really enjoyed that. Also I expected more bgm and soundtracks but still the intro and outro ARE MY FAVOURITES and I wished they wouldn't change it for the second cour but unfortunately it's not possible lol.
