It sure has been awhile! I absolutely adore the attention to detail in this show. I went to The Culinary Institute of America in 2017, and got to see the premiere of this series at Crunchyroll Expo. The second season brings the characters to life! Each story is so clever with each dish that fits the character you learn about. This chef has very similar tastes and mindfulness to hospitality. I always love to see people get blown away by amazing food. Each character cant wait to share their favorite meals with someone else. Food brings people together. Give me more! I always find myself more and more impressed with everything Square puts out. This is such a cute and collected story that brings out the best vibe. You have to root for so many love stories between every character. Side characters stick out in the best way and you feel so pulled towards them the same, if not more, than the main story arc. This anime was very unpredictable. I love that it doesn't go into the normal cliché of romance, but gives you enough to root for the MC. The story felt all too empty for me to get into. Characters were established but we had no clue who they are or really what they were supposed to bring to the table. You figure out the mystery as you go along and enjoy a tall, perfect woman care for this smaller, nobody MC.
