This sucked so bad.. I was so excited when I saw we were finally getting a new shoujo anime catered to the ladies, considering we've been in a drought for the last few years. The trailer made it look interesting; cliche, but promising. Im no stranger to shoujo so cliches are of course to be expected, but this one... The plot is so ridiculously poorly written, animation is inconsistent, and the characters are soooo generic.

Plot: 2/5
No because if you told me that this was a wattpad adaptation from a story written by a 13 year old, I'd believe you. The story was progressing okay ... for like the first 3 episodes, but then it just went downhill from there. Well let me start with the show makes an attempt to be deep by having the FL go through abuse, but the execution is so poorly done its hard to sympathize with her. The stepmother and half sister treat Miyo like crap, but its done in such a corny manner it feels so forced. Anyway they ship her off to get married and that's when our ML, Kudo, comes in. Hes cold for like one episode and then out of no where he's all nice and they're in love. Huuuuuuuuuuh? No joke, it happened so fast and out of no where that I thought I skipped an episode. No build up, no chemistry, no development, but sure why not. Oh this show is apparently also supernatural. The characters have powers that are never really explained. Throw in 2 minor conflicts, with mild pay offs and then uhhh now we're at the climax. Just kidding its resolved and everyone lived happily ever after. The end.

Characters: 1/5
The FL is so boringggggg. I get that she's supposed to be like that as a result of her abuse, but she was just not worth rooting for. Her "development" was just thrown in and taken out whenever the plot needed it.
The ML was also boringgggg. Like I said I Fer that shoujos will have cliches, but this guy.. No depth to his character whatsoever, hes just perfect, no explanation. I mean maybe his only flaw is trauma kink because he had no reason to fall in love with Miyo so freaking fast.
Every generic side character you can think of, this story has. Andddd none of them do anything for the plot.

Animation: 2/5
There are moments when the animation is really good and others not so much. For the most part I think the scenery shots were always good, but the characters had moments when they looked wonky. Also if you're going to give your ML long hair, then give him hair! Why the dude got the thinnest hair ever.

Overall: 2/5
Its just not a well written story. There are so many better shoujos out there than this one. This romance/supernatural anime failed at both genres. The lack of plot really ruined the potential this show could've had.
