Steel Ball Run(or JoJo part 7), was a bliss to read. The whole country setting really stuck to me after finishing the series. Have to say that I have been pretty impressed.

STORY: A fresh restart to the JoJo series, now based in 1800's America, with a full on country set and very little relations to the previous 6 parts. It starts of with a basic objective which totally turns wild going on in the coming chapters. It nonetheless stays loyal to its 'BIZZARE' title.

ART: I've honesty always appreciated Araki-sensei's artwork. Its truly a marvel of its own. Its not neat like the recent Jump titles, ... but over the time, it grows on you. Araki-sensei's art just has its own charisma. I'd recommend people to read coloured scans if they find it rough, but I will say that Jump's colour scheme is not decided by Araki-sensei or so I have heard. As for Araki-sensei's coloured pages....BEAUTIFUL is also an understatement. The man rules in making colour pages.

CHARACTERS: PHENOMENAL job on character writing. Personally for me, the main cast just sticks out as truly a well written bunch. Sure there are minor antagonists who don't have much exposure to the story, but they fulfill their small time role very well. I really love the approach to the minor antagonists in the story. As for the main bunch, they are just next level

OVERALL: SBR is just outstanding. This is peak fiction, and Araki has nailed this one. I agree that a story may not be in everyones interest. But I personally enjoyed this. I know I am fanboying, but this was just too good. PEAK FICTION.

This is my (fanboy like) review XD, but I just wanted to get my thoughts out there. It may not be the best review, but its just my thoughts on the story

PS: Don't skip any of the previous parts just because this is a better story.

I came into Odd Taxi just coz I really wanted to keep myself busy and watch something. The title gave me a Slice of Life feel and I honestly felt that this could be a good time-pass show. Man, I was wrong, the story all in all kept me hooked waiting for the next ep. And how slowly everything fell into its place was just way too satisfying to see. This anime is just way too good for an anime original project. So fucking love this show.



Overall this show just swooped away Spring's best show just like that for me
