TLDR; If you like reason in fantasy/shonen, dont watch it. It will upset you many times on here.
If the studio did better, could have become a 8/10 easily.
Why a 7? Good story, insteresting background with fighting gangs of Japan. Thats where it ends.
Snail tempo, long recaps, way too stretched dramatic scenes with flashbacks. somewhat like the later episodes of naruto shippuden. Kills the moment.
Anime is based on fantasy 90% of the time. Sure, thats cool. But you cant just give some skinny dudes "superpower" with no reason. Some guy turns into terminator, just because he cries once. IDK, not my type of "fantasy" in that

First off, i only watch the anime.
First season went really well. plot depth, built up drama, character development was all fine and good. Second season got a bit weak but was still interesting, getting to know more things related to the plot, but lacked a bit still. Third season got too childish to my taste. Decision making lost to some kids, the hero didnt even use any of his previously acquired skills really. When it came to action, the hero really didnt do much at all, which is very contradictionary to the previous seasons. Dumb stuff i can anger about that happened to make some plot. As ...

It is unique. The main char reminds me of lelouch from code geass. And comparing it to code geass the rating on this site is way to high for this anime in my opinion.
The downsides first that strike against my personal taste: It is an isekai, his whole crew is made of females (yet) - so basically a harem, the main char is ridiculously overpowered and you absolutley could bet on those 20 episodes that he aint gonna lose even a hair during his fights.
