Man, where do I even begin. When I first watched this anime, it came of to me as slice of life kind of show, but it wasn't till later in season 1 that I realized what a great story this anime had. I immediately got invested and once I had finished season 2 I went straight into the manga because I couldn't wait to see how the whole story turned out and perhaps because I was also an impatient prick. The art was great as always, the characters were enjoyable, and the turn of events occurring kept me on the edge of my seat, despite ... having already read the manga. There were many funny and outstanding moments that I'm glad I saw animated and the ending was just as emotional as I expected it to be. I'm pretty sad to be saying goodbye to Fruits Basket, but I'm glad for having come across this anime. That and I'm very excited for the sequel manga I'll be reading along with the movie in 2022 of Tohru's parents.

This movie was one that when I first saw released, I had to watch it. I had finished the manga a while ago and couldn't wait to see it animated. The movie started off right where the anime left off with no series recap bs (I'm looking at you BNHA movies). I don't get why some found the first couple minutes of the movie boring because I mean you can't just start off the movie with fight scenes and bullshit through the story. The art stye was great as always (as expected of Ufotable) and while there were some scenes using cgi, I'd say it ... blended in pretty well. The characters like Rengoku and Tanjirou were given emotional moments like their dreams and the final battle against the demon(s) and I am not ashamed to say that this movie made me cry multiple times and more than I thought it would which just goes to show that even if you know something sad is coming, it doesn't mean it'll hurt any less. Plus I even cried reading the manga version of the arc and no, I'm not joking about that.

What do you get when you cross a series with dark moments like Fate/stay night with the most funny and wholesome scenarios? This show, of course! The Fate franchise has become one of my favorite series to date despite its....confusing watch order and.....interesting fanbase. Anyways, if there is one thing I know it for, its for some of its dark moments especially in Fate/zero and the stay night route trilogy, so when I heard about this spin-off I had to watch it and I'm glad I did. Those who complain about it not having a story probably don't realize that a spin-off like this doesn't ... need to have a story. It's supposed to take a different turn from the main series and fill the viewers with moments that you probably wouldn't see in the main series, since that is pretty much how a show spin-off works. Going back to the show, it was filled with funny and wholesome moments that made me feel relaxed and warm inside. The characters were amazing as always and we got to see how some of them would interact with each other in every-day scenarios.

This is my first review on an anime so I will try to keep it brief and just in case, THERE WILL BE SOME SPOILERS IN THIS REVIEW FROM BOTH SEASONS.

First off, Re:zero was one of the first few anime's I started out with and I enjoyed the hell out of it. The first season was already pretty great and though I did find Subaru's actions (especially that huge embarrassment he went through at the capital) questionable and cringy at times it still didn't stop me from enjoying this series. With the first few episodes of season 2 we get to look more into Subaru's ... character and why he acts the way he does. It is also amazing to see how he comes to accept that he isn't the great hero he thought he would be at the start of the series so good job to the creator for doing this, since this isn't something that I see often, especially in the generic isekai shows. I really love how the story is progressing and it all feels like a huge build up to the epic arcs that are yet to come. The way that many of the characters are made is also just as great. We get to see what they went through and what kind of burdens they have been carrying their entire lives. And as we get to know them, we find out that the majority of them just wanted to be happy but unfortunately the world wasn't so kind. A few examples of these characters are Emilia, Garfield, and even Betelgeuse. They all had a tragic past of their own and sadly some of them couldn't be saved form that. Overall this show has been an amazing ride and I'm looking forward to more Re:zero.
