its actually out??!... where do i begin?
pros:
from the second i read the manga itself i was captivated by how enthralling this story was, seeing the manga panels being given life meant so much to me.
i remember finishing the manga for the first time within a single day( i didnt catch sleep).anyways,
blue box is the epitome of what slice of life has to offer, the drafting of the characters, the development, the sportful ambitions, the strive to aim higher, the desire to work harder. it never stops. this show captures every single aspect of sportsman emotion, offering both badminton and basketball to keep upcoming events interesting.The ... romance is simply the cherry on top. Blue Box PEAKS with the minutest of the details, the chibi frames and blush, the flirts and smirks, comedy and frowns its just too heartwarming.
it might be a slowburn for most people, but i kid you not, it has SO MUCH to offer. the sports competitions will get you to the edge of your seats,the romance and tension will get you to bite your nails.

sports plays an integral part in the anime as it shows how much it means to the characters. commendable dedication, interesting plot twists and athlete nerves
this show has it all. if you'r a sports enthusiast and dont mind the romance it has to offer, then this is absolutely the show for you. it has both basketball and badminton elements,but theres lot more of badminton,and i kid you not the focus on thee balance is just increadible

the cheerful aura of the characters and their chirpy expressions can turn any bad day into one of your best nights! the characters are really well emphasised on with each of the people getting apt development. chinatsu,hina,taiki,kyo and the upcoming characters, i can promise that theres just NO one you can pick to hate.


cons:
none! its just remarkably perfect. if you love slice of life and romance this is THE show for you.

enough with my completely based and bias sweet talks about this show. for my final rating: 10/10 . truly a masterpiece

i had high expectations... and they were really well delivered!
kaijuu no.8 is probably the gem this season has to offer! action, comedy, drama, character backgrounds and developments.. you name it
not once in these 5 episodes did i feel like skipping parts of the scenes or skipping the intro, infact i watched a couple of them on repeat because they were such a good laugh!

positives:
story: 8/10
monsters invade the world kinda lore, and theres a defence force to wipe them off premise, nothing unique, but whats really praise worthy is how despite being a generic-ish lore it still keeps you hooked and want to know ... more. the action scenes are really immersive and keep you on your toes

animation: 9/10
as expected of production I.G, they never fail to deliver. i can say that the art style fits the show perfectly, with jam packed action frames, fluidity and special effects.

sound track: 7.5/10
sound tracks haven't been absolutely stunning( except the opening! thats a banger). but they dont sound monotonous either, so despite everything you can enjoy the fight scenes with some level of intensifying ost.

comedy: 10/10
you can never go wrong with the chibi way of animating the characters for an extra seasoning of laughter to a comedy scene. the way the comedic scenes have been picturised are really hilarious and they do diliver you the perfect bit of chortling that you'd want to take a pause from all the main part of the lore

for the negatives i dont really think theres a solid example of it, since only 5 episodes have been out, however i do think that its not a ground breaking anime simply because its not a unique genre in itself. no complaints on the pacing so far either its really well adapted!

overall: its a solid 9/10
