Both characters are or become Satin (the devil). Although for what ever reason both mains aren't really the evil ones during there series, and end up beating the angles who are ironically the antagonists, and end up trying to save humanity. Through out both series there's great humor and character development, and the animation is really good, but watch out there is a slow start to both series and not that strong of a plot. These anime are mainly comedies with some action so head my warning, but don't worry they're both well done.

...then you might like Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru. add

Both are amazing anime. I love the two main male leads, and their main goals in life are to avoid human contact, and get through life without any unnecessary effort. The two protagonists are also forced into clubs against their will witch causes them to change (slightly). Both mains are talented and provide a huge amount of character as well as comic relief. Both characters have extremely weird relationships going on as well. Also the story arcs in both are well done. Watch these if you want to laugh your ass off, while getting a good story out of it

...then you might like Guilty Crown add

Both anime have strong undeveloped male leads who live in the shadow of a bigger and more respected alpha male. Also the protagonists join their organizations for the sake of a crush on female lead, and are then used for the special abilitys that they posses. The character development, unpredictable plot, and strong character connection is why you should watch these two. These will make you cry.
