A sweet romantic story about a mangaka-wannabe and his job at a small studio.
PROS
- It's a light-hearted funny and romantic type of manga
- Relationship starts early in the manga and ACTUALLY PROGRESSES
- Main heroine is 20 years old but looks and sometimes acts like a child
- Main male character is actually useful, sometimes bold and likeable
- Interesting side characters
- Kind of rushed ending but still very satisfying
...
- Art is quite Moe
CONS
- Only 24 Chapters
- Since it's so short the story sometimes feels rushed
- Main heroine is 20 years old but looks and sometimes acts like a child. (This is really just your preference)
- Side characters do get development but not a lot
Overall - A manga which you will enjoy if you like sweet romance stories. The ending is satisfying enough to not leave you feeling a lack of closure.

Just to be clear this is not a sequel to Charlotte. It's set half-way through Charlotte before all the important stuff actually happens.
Story : Just another episode of finding and helping a person with strange abilities, in this case it's mind -reading (not a spoiler)
Art - same as always, quite nice and pleasing
Sound - didn't notice anything but the voice acting was great
Enjoyment - It was nice to see all the characters again and Yu x Nao moments. It was also damn funny a lot of the time and emotional too.
Overall: I recommend to watch if you just miss Charlotte in general and
...
want to see more, but don't expect anything that has happened past the last few episodes.

SHORT REVIEW
This is mostly a romance, comedy and drama anime with bits of sci-fi thrown in there.
It's about 5 high school kids wanting to make a film but after an event they encounter a red-haired girl who changes things.
This anime focuses a lot on the kids making a film which may seem boring but actually it kept me on edge. (Drama plays a big role)
Story 8 - It isn't very captivating but as the story progresses it keeps you on the edge of your seat
Art 8 - Absolutely no complains whatsoever, characters look clean and quite realistic in body size especially
...
Sound 7 - Nothing noticeable, more like the music was there for the sake of hearing something.
Character 9 - This is important. This anime has 6 main characters and it sticks with them mostly the whole time. Romance plays a big role as there are actually confessions here and there and a love polygon. Each main character has a trait or specialty which you absolutely adore
Enjoyment 8 - I actually enjoyed this series a hell lot. The ending was EXTREMELY satisfying, the romantic moments were ROMANTIC and the dramatic moments were DRAMATIC.
I recommended this to people who enjoy a romance drama with some comedy anime.

Hotarubi no Mori - with only a run time of 44 minutes and a rating over 8.7 i commend you
This is a short anime film which gets you right in the heart.
It's about a girl visiting this forest every summer to meet this boy/spirit. However if she touches him he disappears.
The film plays with that idea which can make you laugh and cry.
The film teaches you an unforgettable lesson by the end about reality even with it's supernatural genre and i thought that was done very well.
Art - Brain Base production, so it's nothing short of amazing.
Sound - As the
...
film is only 44 minutes the sound rather doesn't captivate the viewer but just backs up the scenes. The peaceful moments are REALLY peaceful, the sad moments are REALLY sad and so on.
Character - the 2 main characters, Gin the boy and Hotaru the little girl. The girl doesn't have voluptuous boobs or sexy legs or whatever, she is just and innocent lady which i thought was a refreshing pace compared to some of the modern day women. Gin is awesome, that is all i can say about his character.
Enjoyment - bloody fantastic and this is the type of anime that stays with you.
Overall - 9
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS
Did anyone get that feeling about the ending? Where throughout the entire anime you were like, 'No, it can't possibly end like that, no way'. And when it does you're like, SONUVA &*^* NOOOOO

SHORT REVIEW
This is a story about cute girls/witches who run away and end up with the main male character, obviously this forms a harem.
GnB (stands for Gokukoku no Brynhildr not Goliath National Bank)
GnB isn't afraid to chuck deaths here and there which makes it more darker
Story - It's about runaway witches who are definitely cute, finding a place to stay and they end up with the same male. An evil organization is after them so the male character steps up to help.
What is really refreshing about this anime is the male lead. In your typical harem the guy has no likable qualities,
...
has the luck of the gods and is in no danger whatsoever.
In GnB however, the male lead wants to help and fight for these witches. He is not a wimp who complains a lot and is actually very useful in certain situations.
Now this is a huge con:
If you have read the Manga and loved to see the VA follow it then you're so gonna be disappointed.
The anime is 13 episodes long so you can't expect it to complete the manga. However, in the first 10 episodes, 30 chapters were completed which is reasonable. BUT in the last 3 episodes it covered over 60 chapters. Just like that.
The ending is rushed as heeeeeeeellll.
The only way to actually enjoy this is to see what you get. Don't think about anything else.
Story 7
Art 8
Sound 8 (the opening is quite good even if it is just music)

SHORT REVIEW
Story - 2 gamers are summoned in a world where it is their field of expertise, games. Everything is decided by games so it's only naturally they're boss.
There are 3 ways to watch this anime :
'An anime where the main characters aren't pussy and actually own ' OR
'A colorful anime with excessive fanservice' (although there isn't much ecchi compared to the modern ecchi anime' OR
'watch the here and now. See characters climb from the lowest to the top'
The art stands out so well it is crazy. The insane bright colors may put some people off but it really
...
grows on you and it is beautiful.
Sound - The OST wasn't particularly perfect but it definitely fit the mood extremely well.
Characters - You have a big bro and his cute imouto. They make up 'blank' which is basically their gamer name. After they learn most of the world, it's decided they'd help their race climb to the top. As the story progresses they obtain strong allies and continue to rule.
Enjoyment - Now this might be repetitive but there are many epic scenes back-upped with the great OST in which the main characters just dominate.
Things which are bad :
The anime has not ended. If there was a 2nd season then this would be one of the best anime out there. (Unless it pulls of a Mondaiji-tachi and just stops)
The main characters are also too powerful. It seems as if they never lose and as soon as you think someone has outsmarted them 'poof' nup they countered
There definitely are ecchi scenes and fan service. Although they don't smudge your face with oppai and panty shots, it can sometimes be a bit much.
Story 7
Art 10
Sound 8
Character 8
Enjoyment 10
Overall 9
The best way to watch this anime is just watch naturally and be entertained.
If you absolutely hate strong main characters, ecchi and vibrant art then i don't recommend it.

SHORT REVIEW
Basically Kagami and Kuroko join Seirin's Basketball team.
The story is very cliche as they want to be the best in Japan .
What really stands out is the journey.
There are also people who were part of the Generation of Miracles. An elite basketball team during middle school whom they players have split up to become the best in Japan with their own teams.
Exaggeration plays a huge role in this anime. For example if you pass a ball, Kuroko No Basuke would add drilling air around and lights coming out of nowhere. This gets you extremely hyped up

Angel Beats! I'm sure you've heard about this one before.
Angel beats is part of the sad trilogy (Clannad, Anohana, Angel beats!)
It's basically about Otonashi stuck in a world where people can't die. He finds a group of crazy, awesome, kawaii and hilarious bunch whom are fighting a certain someone so they don't get obliterated. That means to disappear for real. The SSS.They're fighting 'Angel' for they fear they will be obliterated.
Obliterated- to accept the world's way of life by attending school normally or doing what anyone would do normally and disappear without regret.
Angel Beats starts off as a rather hilarious action comedy
...
anime where the situation isn't really serious or dramatic. Actually the first few episodes probably get funnier and funnier by the minute. Suddenly at the half way point (somewhere) you're hit with an even which makes you imagine OMG IF THAT HAPPENED?! DOES THAT MEAN THIS IS GONNA??!?!?!
This anime is most certainly unique as it seems to change genres extremely quickly. You may find yourself crying tears of laughter and then tears of sadness within the same episode. THAT is what is so amazing about Angel Beats.
The story was put out very well. It's mostly about Kanade, Otonashi and Yurippe and how they handle the situation. Although there definitely were some problems in which you may have to re watch to understand but it definitely was very well thought out. And what impressed me was that you learn EVERYONE in the afterworld has died with regret, but you wonder how they died. (Some are shown)

Art - AMAZING The sun is BLAZING
The art is incredible, surely highly commendable
10
Sound - The opening and ending songs are beautiful. Once i finished this anime i watched the ending again and some manly tears were shed. Most of the OST is beautiful and flawlessly matches the mood, atmosphere and situation.
The music plays an important role as there's a band called 'Girls Dead Monster'. They play a significant role in the story, especially the lead singer. And the moment may not be as sad without the soundtrack.
10
Characters - There are quite a lot of characters for a 13 episode anime. I think around 10, but the significant ones are :
Kanade - (no spoilers)
Otonashi - A cool-headed leader-type person who is the main character.
Yurippe - The leader of the SSS and is cute. She specializes in leading a team, insane plans and finding a solution.
I'm happy that i learnt the backstory of some of the important characters which really put the drama into effect.
I'm also glad that you got to see the other members of the SSS quite a lot as (together as a team) they're loud, bodacious, extremely funny but at some times they make me cry. ;_; YUI
(The manga has everybody's backstory and it is ;_; ;_; ;_;
9
Enjoyment - This anime played with my emotions every episode. 10
Flaws - I could say that this anime was too short as you do not learn about everybody's backstory. Also there's one mystery which i have not found in the anime or the manga. Maybe the director is telling us to imagine what it would be or he's being lazy.
But overall there may be flaws but you can easily look past them through the well thought out story, SMEXY ART, eargasm sound and wonderful characters.
Also I'm glad that the ending ended like that. I mean that it wasn't half-assed or typical, it was just..

READ ONLY IF YOU'VE ALREADY SEEN ANGEL BEATS
can someone please explain how Kanade arrived in the after world first before Otonashi of he gave her his heart. That means that he should've died first or something like that.
TK's backstory - he fell in love with a girl and she fell in love with him as well but unfortunately her dad is the head of a mafia gang. There was a warning to TK not to see his daughter ever again but TK was in love too much. Eventually the father jailed his daughter and TK next to each other but with a wall between. TK was told that he must dance to let his love live. He danced for 5 days non-stop but eventually his body gave out and he couldn't dance anymore. The daughter was killed and so was TK.
The last words TK remembers is 'I kiss you' which is what he says in the anime.

Mirai Nikki or Future Diary is an Action, Mystery, Supernatural, Psychological, Thriller anime about people trying to kill each other to become god of time and space. The people have these phones called Future Diaries and everyone's is different. If your phone breaks then you'll die.
Story: The story is very interesting. It's like the Hunger Games but in the city. The way it's portrayed will probably keep you glued to the screen.
8
Art: The art is no '5cm per second' but it's definitely not bad. The blood looks smooth and I'm saying this because there's quite a lot. It's art is above average but not
...
enough to be amazing.
8
Sound: The opening is AWESOME especially when 'animenzz' on Youtube plays it on the piano it's awesome. The voice actors actually fit the anime characters extremely well and the OST fits the mood/atmosphere.
9
Character: There is quite a big amount of characters as it's a bunch of people trying to become god by killing others.
Yuuki is the main character and he is the wimpy type of person. He has absolutely no confidence in him and i despise his type of character. He relies on Gasai Yuno who he teams up with against his will. Now usually in shounen type anime, the wimpy character gets much stronger or more awesome. Yuuki however is wimpy through 95% of the anime. NOW READ THIS. I hated Yuuki because he lacked confidence but in the last few episodes he gains quite a lot suddenly. But instead of finally liking him i HATED him so much more. You'll understand.
Gasai Yuno is the other main character. She is AMAZING in so many different ways. If you're wondering why i didn't drop the anime because of Yuuki, it was because of Gasai Yuno. The way she does things is so crazy and psychotic, I love it.
The other character have there own Qwerks but it's either to small or they don't even live long enough to like them. Still Gasai Yuno kind of saved the show from Yuuki.
9
Enjoyment: Mirai Nikki is an EXTREMELY unpredictable show. Usually the hero arrives late but if you do that in Mirai Nikki, if you're late someone's gonna die. That just an example so it wasn't a spoiler. I have seen plenty of anime and i can predict quite a lot of scenes and stuff but that failed completely when i watched Mirai Nikki. I enjoyed it A LOT.
10
Overall: The anime definitely has incredible moments but there was a standard amount of Shite, crap, pieces of **** scenes that made me go, TELL ME WHY?!?!?!? Mostly with Yuuki in them. The awesome moments were mostly by 2 female characters. One is Gasai Yuno and the other is ________ (watch this anime :D)
8
Anime Genre:
The Action is top notch. Beautiful explosions, awesome fight scenes and knife throwing.
Mystery - There were a lot of mysteries in which i was eager to find but there were a few where i did not give a damn. Still the important ones were freaking crazy till the end.
Supernatural, Psychological, Thriller - All of these were absolutely phenomenal, there wasn't too much to make it seem like the anime was a fantasy but there was enough to make me enjoy it.
There is also a nice romance touch between Yuuki and Yuno. If you're wondering whether there are kisses then yes there are some.
Seriously though if you're wanting a dark, thriller anime that will move you to tears if you usually cry then watch it. It will definitely be worth your time.
Also i forgot to mention how there aren't really any cliches in this anime. You'll probably understand when you see it.

This is my first review so bare with me.
Nichijou or My Ordinary Life is a comedy, school and slice of life anime.
If you're not interested in watching these kind of genres as school life isn't very interesting to watch then don't worry. There is NOTHING ordinary about this anime.
Think of Kuroko no Basuke. That is one of the best anime with exaggerations which makes it look so dam awesome. Nichijou takes that to a whole new level.
This anime is the most light-hearted and cheerful anime i've ever seen.
Story: There is absolutely no story. You can watch it from any episode and still get 95%
...
of what's happening.
7
Art: The art is extremely unique and light-hearted.It fits everyone's personality and the environment really well.
10
Sound: The voice acting flawlessly matches the characters espicially the 3 mains girls or the most screen time. I loved both openings and endings. During the anime the soundtrack was perfect for the atmosphere and situation.
9
Character: There a heaps of characters but the main ones are the one's in the picture. They are SO FLIPPING FUNNY. What really impressed me was that how you got to see other students as well. you'll understand if you watch it which i recommend you do.
10
Enjoyment: 10
ye that's right
Now for the genre the anime was listed.
Comedy, School and Slice of Life.
For comedy i give this anime and 11. Yes I'm serious. I laughed every episode at the weird jokes, the over-the-top EVERYTHING.
For school and slice of life i give it a 9.
The reason is that there is so many things you an relate to in this anime. (If you're a high school student). But i did not give this a 10 because how it never ever goes to the extent in which this anime does.
But that's why i love this anime.
I definitely recommend watching this if you want to watch something that is not serious in any way and just wanna laugh.
