Twin Star Exorcists is an action-packed supernatural anime that blends intense battles, emotional character growth, and a unique take on destiny. While it takes creative liberties from the manga, the anime delivers an engaging story with its own charm.
Story:
Twin Star Exorcists follows Rokuro and Benio, two young exorcists fated to become the "Twin Stars"—the destined couple prophesied to bring an end to the war against the monstrous Kegare. While both are skilled fighters, they start off as rivals, reluctant to accept their destiny. However, as the anime progresses and they find out more about themselves their relationship grows, making the emotional journey as gripping as
...
the action in it.
One of the anime’s biggest strengths is its world-building. The setting of Magano, a parallel realm where exorcists fight Kegare, is visually striking, filled with eerie landscapes and intense battles. The action scenes are fluid and well-choreographed, showcasing a variety of exorcist techniques and abilities.
However, the story takes a different approach from the manga, introducing anime original arcs that expand on the world and characters. These original arcs allows for new stories and fights that keep the anime experience fresh and I feel help in the overall story. The pacing has its highs and lows, but the blend of intense battles, heartfelt moments, and humor makes for an engaging watch.
Charcaters:
Rokuro and Benio’s dynamic is the heart of the series. Rokuro starts off as someone who rejects his exorcist past, while Benio is fiercely dedicated to her duty. Their growth—both as fighters and as partners—is satisfying to watch, as they push each other to improve and develop mutual respect and feelings.
The supporting cast is also memorable, with characters like Seigen, Mayura, and the Twelve Guardians adding depth to the world. The villains, especially the Basara, provide challenging fights and emotional stakes, making each battle feel personal and meaningful in some scenarios.
Animation/Visuals:
The visuals in Twin Star Exorcists are vibrant and colorful, especially in the battles. The exorcist techniques and combat effects look great, and many fights are well-animated and impactful. However, the animation quality fluctuates at times, with some episodes looking noticeably less polished. Despite this inconsistency, the art style and character designs remain appealing throughout the series.
To conclude:
Despite some pacing issues and animation inconsistencies, Twin Star Exorcists is an enjoyable supernatural shonen anime with a compelling story, engaging characters, and exciting battles. If you're looking for an action-packed anime with a mix of romance, destiny, and battles, I would recommend giving this a watch.

Maou 2099 is a combination of two of my favorite things, O.P demon lord MCs and cyberpunk theming and aesthetics.
It has a very unique fantasy-cyberpunk fusion which you don't usually see, therefore it is quite a refreshing anime to watch, thanks to not only amazing voice-acting and amination, but also sound design and story.
The Story:
As this will be a spoiler-free review, I won't dive into too much of the lore and story of Maou 2099. However, I must tell you that the story-telling and the pacing of the story are all appreciable in this era of anime. I feel like there is solid worldbuilding
...
of the setting and themes of this anime and strong and impactful character backstories that make their actions so much funnier and impactful. For the actual story it is nothing too new for anime, as it revolves around a long-dead demon lord that arises in an unfamiliar cyberpunk city with no idea about the what, the when and the why this is all happening. However, he eventually is greeted by a familiar face and with them learn about the new world he has arisen in and learns to survive without his demon kingdom. In addition, the story can be pretty serious and thrilling which is fantastic to keep you hooked an engaged.
The Characters:
All the characters in anime are perfect as they are all both funny, serious and emotional at the appropriate times. Our main demon lord Veltol is a perfect M.C for this story and setting, and for avid anime watchers can ensure you that you will be entertained by his endeavors in his new world. But, as always there is a beautiful and cute female M.C in Machina if that's your cup of tea. There are also many others such as the the best hacker in 2099 Takahashi and also the lost hero out of time Gram. Watch Maou 2099 and tell me which character your favourite is, I'm sure you'll have one. (P.s mines Veltol, you can't not love him).
The Animation:
This is produced by J.C staff studio, so already you know that the animation is gonna be pretty good compared to some other slop on the market these days. I will not say that the animation is super crazy like solo leveling or Jujutsu Kaisen, but for a season anime that appeared out of nowhere, its pretty great. Not only are the normal scenes well animated, but the fights are astonishing with flashy colours and impactful gradients. Also the animation stays consistently goof throughout the season which is a god send these days.
The Audio:
The OP and ED are both really good. The OP by Siyui is especially dope, as it perfectly fits the story and aesthetics of the show. The voice acting both Japanese and English are really good and perfectly suits each character to a tea. The OST I feel is also fine for this show, nothing too over the top just yeah for this show.
So yeah here are the main topics I feel people will think of when deciding to watch this anime. Remember this is all just my opinion and I just love this show, so I may be a bit biased in my review. But if you watch it I feel like you'll understand my bias hehe. However, if you don't vibe with this show, that fair I can understand that.
Thanks for reading my review and I hope you enjoy Maou 2099 and have a good day :)

If you're looking for an anime to fill your O.P. magicless MC plate in a world full of magic, then Wistoria is the anime for you. To basically describe this anime "It's a more serious Mashle, but instead of fists and creampuffs its swords and battle glasses. It is a nice watch for these reasons:
1. The storytelling and setting
This anime's character storytelling is insane, as not only do we have a somewhat fleshed-out backstory and reasons for why the magicless MC is at a magic academy and trying to reach his impossible goal. But, all the other side characters have their histories and
...
reasons explored as well. Basically saying that this anime doesn't just leave you guessing why someone does or acts in that manner without providing a solid backstory.
This anime has the setting of the oh-so-common magical academy (like Reign of the Seven Spellblades), especially when it comes to focusing on the mega dungeon/labyrinth right below the academy where the characters must enter and fight monsters to achieve their goals.
2. The animation
Wistoria has very solid animation throughout the entire season and does not seem to falter anywhere even in the high-impact action scenes. The spells look amazing and the sword fighting visuals are nothing to scoff up, especially when you know that the director of this anime was also the director of Black Clover. The character's expressions and body language also benefit from this good animation style.
3. The Trope and cliché
I will not lie, Wistoria does fall into the category of the MC with immense powers that isn't respected or is bullied due to those powers being different. It also has the classic supporting female classmate who receives no attention from the MC, as the MC only has eyes for one person (making it their goal to reach her). Hey there's also a tournament arc in the middle of this anime. However, if you do like an overpowered MC and these tropes then this anime will be a good watch for you.
Overall, I enjoyed Wistoria for the anime it was due to its amazing characters, animation and fight scenes throughout the entirety of it. It is a great adaption from its source material and is defiantly worth a watch.

Date A Live V is a delightful and most appreciated return to the beloved world of spirits, romance, and epic battles, and it does not disappoint in delivering high-stakes action with emotional storytelling and splashes of humor. Fans of the series will be thrilled by how this season continues to weave the intricate relationships among Shido, the spirits, his allies on the Fraxinus and his enemies at DEM, all while finally offering long-awaited answers to the backstory of Shido and the Spirit of Origin.
Where Date A Live V truly shines is in how it finally brings closure to the long teased mystery of Shido’s origins,
...
how he has spirit power and the Spirit of Origin, the driving force behind much of this season. The season masterfully ties together lingering plot threads with revelations that feel earned and satisfying. Without spoiling too much, the connection between Shido and the Spirit of Origin is revealed in a way that not only explains many of the strange occurrences in the series but also elevates the stakes, making this one of the most compelling story arcs yet.
The animation quality in this season remains as vibrant and dynamic as ever, due to the team at Geek Toy's improving on the last season, particularly in the battle sequences. The energy and tension in these scenes are palpable, yet the series never forgets to make time for quieter, more emotional moments, which truly enhance the overall experience and gives time to enjoy the atmosphere of this series.
For long-time fans, Date A Live V is a rewarding watch that perfectly encapsulates the essence of the franchise—romantic, comedic, intense action, and above all DATING. The balance between answering the burning questions about Shido’s past while still developing the relationships with the spirits ensures that the season feels both climactic and fulfilling. If you’ve been following the series, this season is a must-watch. If you have never seen Date A Live then nows the time to do the greatest anime bing and watch all of this amazing series that has spanned over 10 years.

TBH going into Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon I was not expecting what I came out with.
Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon had been sitting in my plan to watch for some time now and finally decided to watch it. In the beginning, I was so confused by everything that was happening. But over time the story began to clean up and I could understand it more.
If your looking for a quick watch and have seen the first season of Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon, I recommended sticking and watching season 2 out for its great sound design and character development from the supporting roles.
Overall, Kyoukai Senjou no

Horizon II is a small enjoyable watch and if you want more the light novel is finished and has been translated.
My Overall Score Is 7 (Good)
