First season of Fruits basket (fb) felt like MHA to me at first. One of the most impactful scenes in anime happened there, everything was just perfect... On the other side the story was at points kinda slow and dull so I decided to use 1.5x speed for a while which helped a lot. In retrospect after finishing the whole show I now appreciate the thought the author put in to the development of the characters in the 1 season of fb.
But yeah fb is so full of raw emotion that the watcher finds even themselves lost. Of course somethings are a bit over the
...
top, but it didn't really impact the show negatively. Though at times I felt like the perfect Tohru was kinda annoying. If you find theme such as being accepted as who you are interesting and the pain that goes along with that you should definitely watch this. This is actually one of those anime's where you can possibly process your painful own emotions along with the characters on the show. Well at least I feel like that could happen to someone.
By far the easiest thing to compliment about this show is how it performs with it's genre tags. Sometimes it's incredible funny like comedies should be with natural humor that catches the viewer of guard. Drama that really pops off in seasons 2 and 3 and at the end of season 1. Romance. I could say there's even too much of that and kissing at the end, you will get me after you finish this... There's certainly better slice of life shows out there like Barakamon or Kakushigoto but they didn't not have so many other things in them like fb did. And the very concept of the show is very interesting. Not really as the synopsis but when I watched to show it all just made sense.
I feel like I'm not done processing this anime but that's what good about it. I got invested and cried like a bitch few times (like a grown man totally should). If you feel intrigued then please watch the first season on fb, until the end that's where stuff starts to happen and I say it again this show felt totally mid when I was going trough the first season but it gets better and a lot! I'm rating this series as a 9 but season by season I think it should be 8,9,9.

There's always something special about Fate movies which make them good or better compared to most Fate series. This time though, the movie seriously got hurt by 2 things.
The budget wasn't there for them to make an entire movie about the last fight. Animation paled in comparison to every other Fate movie I've seen which is everything except unlimited bw movie.
I could still somewhat enjoy the movie as a conclusion to the Grand Order timeline I guess? It waspartially satisfactory and definitely worth it, but I wanted much more. There was potential and some good scenes but I could even use the power move of
...
telling you that "it was rushed".
The bigger problem for me was the plot. The fact that the movie was based of a game shines through. As Fate fans we are somewhat used to confusion, but this time they bluntly just didn't care, they just did what they wanted without explaining. I haven't played the game or read the manga so there might be some content in there instead. It just made the movie a bit more clunky and less enjoyable, not worth a 8 for me so I'll give it a 7 for a not completely ruining it and getting some ok parts in there as well. Objectively probably 6.

For isekai harem fanatic this is very entertaining and enjoyable however after a while the excitement slowly lessens as the same things happen over and over again with similar setups. That's how I would describe it but it's not 100% true.
Best part about this novel is that there's multiple plots going at the same time, something is always happening and there's something to look forward to. That together with the isekai/fantasy setup makes this very enjoyable and I can praise this highly as isekai. The story develops rather fast too.
However there're some obvious flaws in my opinion. The worst part about the novel is the
...
characters. There are way too many copy paste characters which make me less interested in their actions. Well they're kind of side characters so it wouldn't be as big of a deal unless every girl in the main characters harem was also pretty much the same personality only exception being their individual circumstances.
The effect of this is how most of the conversations are similiar and almost all of dialogue ends with "she blushes" which helps the reader to get to know the characters, but it's definitely not the best way to go about it.
The other thing I find lacking is the world building. Don't get me wrong I really like the action scenes but it sometimes feels like there's nothing else motivating the story except battle scenes.
I wanted to know more about magic and adventuring and the way people learn it. Practicing and learning really wasn't showed anywhere for more than one or two paragraphs. I wanted to read about the growth of Rio as a person between his ages of 7-12. Not just get the finished product where he is strong.
At the start I read this for 6 hours a day easily but now on 14 volume I'm starting to get a bit bored. I'm surely gonna read this to the end but still I'm a little let down.
I would recommend this to someone who likes the idea of powerful harem protagonist and action. I personally massively enjoyed the time reading but I can't ignore some of the faults in it. By not reading this one would miss some good comfort isekai/fantasy/harem but other than that it's not something exceptional. Would recommend to about 15% of people to give it a shot.

I really hated this and loved this. In typical Fate fashion the story is completely fuc*** and there's random person's with random powers coming at you left right and center, even more than in some other fates.
I would argue there's no way to understand any of what happened, well someone who has played all the games, read all the manga/novels and watched all of fate anime could say he does but I wouldn't believe that person at all.
That being said it doesn't mean Camelot wouldn't be a good watch I just can't really say why I enjoyed this second movie of the series
...
in particular. Maybe it was the directing, but somehow I even felt a little emotional at the end. It's just that even predictable and simple words can make you feel things.
Also there were a lot of epic fate fighting and who would say no to that? Good fights, decent music and who really cares about the story tbh random but watchable. Worth it!

Negatives +
After 5 episodes this anime has had some incredibly mediocre moments. Mostly a backstory which has gore, sex, child abuse and other things. It's not that I don't like the backstory because of those things, but I'm not amazed by the creativity or happy when those are the only things that were told so far, -1 point for me.
The other thing that I still find lacking though I'm only at episode 5 is the game element in the show. There's been quite a few very powers that aren't exactly new and the game where the characters wasn't explained at all, so when
...
I'm thinking about how some parts of the anime feel like they weren't followed through, I'm skeptical about what the future holds.
Positives -
So far it's been a lot of negative but there's also a lot of positive. Even if it's a game genre it's still interesting. I can feel how the story is building up little by little and there's also a lot of unique powers which keep it interesting and the game I assume they are playing is also progressing and there's always something happening. The games played in the game are also starting to get much more interesting at ep 5 where I'm at right now.
There's also some funny jokes that are sometimes missing in these game animes. Characters don't feel very out of the ordinary yet but they aren't bad or annoying and there are some that are actually quite unique and fun to see.
Conclusion:
That being said opening and ending are way above average and I like them both. It definitely feels like an upgrade of BTOOM!!! so far, so If you enjoyed that I would recommend this as well. Or anyone who's into game animes.

This is a music/romance anime with enjoyable music and good characters. It also has something that not many shows have, which makes me to it. I can't put my finger directly on it, but most likely it's the unique characters who feel refreshing and new. Along with some of the other traits like the fact that the events happened in the 60's(not sure when exactly, I just feel like I saw 1960 somewhere).
I thought I would rate this 9 or high 8 but that didn't obviously happen. Even though there were a lot of things that I liked. There were also things that were
...
confusing and annoying. I assume that I feel that way, because it was adapted from the manga and there were some things that didn't make it into the adaptation.
I will just say that as episodes went on what naturally should happen didn't happen, instead someone decided that I don't want this to happen for these characters so I will make the romance development a cliche and not satisfying. That's how I felt about the direction the romance was heading toward. Not only that there was another huge turn in the events where I felt exactly they same way. I don't want to spoil it, but I feel like no one could ever think that was a good turn in the story.
The manga had fixed at least some of those elements when I read it after the anime.
I'm currently still reading the manga and I can't recommend 100% that someone should read a music manga that just feels a little bit weird. So I would say that you should watch the anime first and then continue reading the manga from volume 9. It's definitely worth reading if you like the anime.
parts are great, some things are below mediocre overall it's nice and I know not everyone will react to the romance thing as badly as I did so If you feel like a jazz music anime with romances and friendships at line could interest you definitely watch it.
Thinking back the synopsis didn't bring justice to the show in my eyes.

If I didn't have any expectations maybe I could rate this a 7. However I did after reading numerous comments where people said this is better than any of the other well known movies and also 8.64 rating on MAL isn't bad at all.
Before starting and after watching this movie I'm still comparing it to Your name, A Silent voice and I want to eat your pancreas and I immediately notice that something is missing. There's no emotional climax for me or rather there was but it pushed me a little bit instead of hitting me, there's no music video where the music
...
captures me whilst also telling or at least recapping what's happened thus far.
It is a movie after all so I don't expect too many things to happen in 90 minutes. However I wanted more. Josee felt like an overly long anime episode which makes you want to watch the next episode even though it's 3 am. What happened during the last 20 minutes would normally happen in the middle and I can't get over the fact that most of the events that happened were overwritten just so the movie could go forward.
The only thing going for this show are the interactions of the people, because every other event didn't matter after I continued watching for a while longer. So what I'm saying is that in my opinion the best parts of the movie are the interactions of the characters, but instead of focusing on that there were so many other things they added to it, and as a result the events in the middle didn't feel significant because they weren't building up to the conclusion or they weren't adding anything to the story in a good way they just took away from the development of the other aspects. Basically they felt like fillers. Something happened and that's that, they don't dive deep into what happened or how the event made someone feel it just happened and everyone got over it and on to the next event we go.
In conclusion I didn't like the story at all and that is the sole reason I didn't like this show. Some of it has to do with the expectations I had and I know that, but after all I still didn't like the movie. So as advice I have for anyone who wants to watch this hear me out: Drop your expectations.
The only people I could recommend this to is someone who I know would enjoy a romance without anything extra. To that person I would have a lot of different and better recommendations too.

Spoiler free
It was supposed to be something fun and different, but it really wasn't after the first 2 episodes and that's why I didn't really like this show. Of course the whole theme of zombies was new to me and I found it intriguing at the start, but as I progressed in the episodes sure the zombie elements where there at times, but in the end the focus was put to "How can we end this series?", which was done in a manner that is so cliche in the anime genre all the while forgetting about the characters which then became, funny enough, zombies metaphorically,
...
since there was no depth to their characters anymore.
That being said the series is a few years old like most of the reviews too, so this might've been something completely new in the 2012, I'm not sure. Lets just say it didn't age well.
Personally I wouldn't recommend this to anyone if they weren't as crazy about the zombies as the main character. First 2 episodes were very promising, but all of it flopped from there.

This is Kakushigoto:
-Something comical with it's jokes that didn't often make me laugh out loud, but made me smile inside.
-Something entertaining with a variety of characters which are all different and entertaining in their own ways.
-Something full filling with an actual ending.
-Something extra with the story telling that I haven't seen anywhere else. That is not only new for me who has seen 200 animes, but also it makse a comedy show something in addition to that. Like the title Kakushigoto=Secret hints you.
The best way to put it is there was nothing in this show that sucked, it was good in every aspect that I
...
can think of and on top of it, it was something more with the story telling that popped up usually at the end of the episode.
That doesn't mean there isn't anything I can critique. While the ending was good it wasn't very original at all now that I think about it or there wasn't a much build up at all, rather it was one of those rushed ones in a sense.
Even though now the ending seems kind of bad it was still supported by the message which is also present in the title name "secret", which brings yet another aspect to the ending/closure of the series.
It's hard to imagine a person who wouldn't enjoy this show at all but of course it depends largely on your sense of humor, but still I could recommend this to any of my friends.

Somehow the most memorable part of this series is the way how Kotegawa (main gal) speaks. I don't even think there's a translation for the word I'm looking for but it's not typical japanese. It's more like 12 yo western girl who says lol after every sentence. If every shows adopted this style of speech for their characters I would hate it, but I haven't seen it anywhere else yet, so it actually feels nicely refreshing.
To be honest the fan service scenes was even more memorable and overall very natural and well done. Noiket l, oops I fell on you and now I'm on top
...
of you kind of thing... Basically they are things that could even happen :D
Plot wise it's pretty good. The format is usually that the main characters do a cosplay costume together for a few chapters and then there's also some really good 1on1 time going on where their relationship goes forward, unlike in some other ones. So it's not full fan service no plot/developments. At least for now that is, who will see what will happen after chapter 42 and for how long this series will be running for. But so far it's really good because it's overall solid and also there's a lot of things that are different from other shows. Like the cosplay and some other things. The arts very quality as well.
Lastly I can recommend this to anyone who's looking for their next fan service typish manga with a plot so good that even if you want just some romance manga this could still be for you.
