...then you might like Active Raid: Kidou Kyoushuushitsu Dai Hachi Gakari add

Active Raid is like an updated, funkier silly copy of Patlabor in many aspects. You'll probably find your self comparing not only the main plot but also many characters of these series if you watch them both. If you enjoy slice of life shows accompanied by mecha action and a bunch of mismatched eccentric characters you may enjoy Patlabor to the fullest.

...then you might like SKET Dance add

Kyoukyoku Choujin R, though not extremely similar to SKET Dance, it has many eccentric characters as its core of humor. Viewers may enjoy the silly action and the unrealistic club activities in both works, though sadly Kyuukyoku Choujin R only got an OVA and can't play all of his strengths on the screen.

...then you might like Glass no Kamen (2005) add

Direction wise these two shows look pretty similar, since Glass no Kamen seems to copy a lot of elements Dazaki used in his works, in order to give an older look to this classic title even though it was produced in 2005. Both works are character driven, contain a lot of drama and taboo relationships (which was pretty common for 70s manga).
