This is my first ever review, so it probably won't be amazing but here we go.

This is an anime that is overlooked by many people due to the fact that it contains incest and nudity. Sadly, many people pass this off as some "fetish hentai". Well, to put it simply, they could not be any more wrong. I admit that I had doubts for this anime, but by the end of it, I was extremely glad I watched all of it, one of the best decisions of my life and really opened my mind up.

This anime is based off the visual novel, which is AMAZING. ... Due to the limited amount of episodes, the anime simply doesn't match up to the VN, but it does it's best with what it has to work with. The anime definitely captured the dramatic yet beautiful nature of the VN.

It provided some pretty good character development despite the short number of episodes each character had for their "arc". Personally, my favourite arc has to be Sora's (both in the anime and the VN). The whole backstory of her bond with Haru almost makes me not see it as incest (I won't go into details though, as it can be spoilerish). On first impressions, she may come off as an ignorant bratty childish girl, but she is FAR from it. In fact, she's one of my favourite characters ever. The other characters are very likeable too, and have interesting backstories.

The art is absolutely stunning, especially the character designs and scenery in general. The creators have done the best they can here to replicate the absolutely beautiful artwork of the VN.

The music is simply one of the most beautiful scores I have ever heard in anything. I'd even go as far as it so it surprassed the amazing music of the VN. Tracks like "Old Memory" and "Toui Sora He", despite being used repetitively, are absolutely amazing and really add to the beautiful and dramatic nature of this show. Furthermore, the voice acting was brilliant, Haru captured the gentle personality of himself from the VN, whilst Sora's captured the fragile personality of herself.

Very few anime have pulled my heart strings as much as this one, it's up there with Clannad AS and White Album 2 in terms of emotional impact, in my opinion. I've wrote this review simply to get off my chest how much this anime means to me, it will always have a special place in my heart, and it honestly saddens me to see it have such low ratings. My advice to anyone who may watch this: Open your mind and heart, and just see the scenes of sexual nature as a form of art and embrace it as part of the story. This is NOT a hentai, nor a typical ecchi anime, despite it having ecchi as a tag.
