Honestly, I came into this expecting a trashy power fantasy and was disappointed. I watch a lot of Isakai and I enjoy all the tropes and cringe that they bring to the table; this is because Isakai is the Mcdonald's of anime genres, you are going to feel awful afterward, but it is just so good while you consume it. By the third episode, almost nothing of note happens, and by episode seven I was just floored by the sheer lack of substance. Even in bad Isakai, something interesting happens by the end of the first half. this isn't just a bad Isakai, it's a ... bad story overall despite the interesting concept.

This was going to be an episode review but it quickly turned into a rant... I am aware that the dialog might be better in the sub but I don't care because dyslexia.

Lets start with the bad shall we. Diving head long into this train wreck, this anime does not impress me, for everything that is well done so far in this show, something else is done poorly. The dialog is a chore to listen to. Kufa's English VA is inconsistent, flip flopping between dead fish and Chad Chadington, and it's very immersion breaking. As a side note the naming conventions in this show ... are abysmal, his name is Vampyre and he is a Vampire, what a shocker...say it slowly and out loud, Melida angle = my lady angle. The writer's thought process "it's a Victorian setting so let's make the names sound Englishy."

The bright side. The fights are a delight, well animated and pleasant to look at l, but they are like still generic at times. The fights in this show are like doughnuts, they make you feal nice as you consume them but they won't surprise you. The art in the show is good, certainly above average if only just. The OP is unique and might even be a trend setter. The concept is okay, i cant recall another anime that really tried to deal with lycanthropy, so that's a plus for me. I think a better studio could have made this concept work very well.
