An absolute stunner of a read, an honest 10/10, beautiful choreography along with the most heart-wrenching moments you can imagine out of what should be a shonen. The characters are so easy to get attached to, including the temporary ones, and the ups are higher than anything you can imagine, and the lows are low enough to make you feel bad for the characters. Each moment and each arc has its brilliance to it, and even though the writing may not be on par with something like the likes of Vagabond, it's the fact that each moment during the read is an absolute ride of ... emotions, I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to feel a sense of exhilaration, paired with the perfect amount of despair. Though the plot is basic and the power of friendship is always stronger and whatever yadayada, I think this is where it is portrayed in the greatest way, where rather than just random BS, there's real reasoning and understanding about how everything was able to happen. Of course, using Wukong or Jaecheondaeseong and his real powers and a mix of a fake more realistic power is just the perfect mix, an honest-to-God, amazing read. Thank you Yongje Park for your work.
