Story:
The story for this OVA is pretty good. But personally I think that it's a little disjointed. I think there are many things I wouldn't have understood if I hadn't already seen Ryu Knight, plus generally knowing how stories work. Maybe that was just me though. Maybe I wouldn't have had trouble understanding it if I hadn't seen Ryu Knight the original first. Maybe I read into it too much. Either way, I was still a bit lost, which doesn't generally happen to me. Also this story just isn't as good as I think it could have been, even by comparison to its accompanying shows.
So
...
a 6 on story.
Art:
The art is different from the original show, and not as attractive I think. Yes, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and in some ways the animation for this is better than the original show's. But it just isn't as easy to look at. I guess I'm saying that's colors and angles are distracting.
A 6 on art from me.
Sound/Music:
The sound effects are fine. They do what they should. Something I will say for this OVA however is that the music is great! "They" wrote a new score for this OVA, a different one from the originals. And it's really good. I like it as much as the original's.
A 7 on sound/music from me.
Character:
I really like the characters from the original, so it's hard for me to like the parallel universe versions of them that are in this as much as the original's. But I can't say the characters are bad, just different. More serious in some ways I guess, less in others. Kinda of like the OVA itself.
The new characters I generally like. Some more than others. But they're solid characters that are believable.
a 7 on character.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed watching this a lot at the time. If only because it was more of my favorite show. Looking back I'm not sure that it was really worthy of how much I enjoyed it. But it's really a good OVA, don't get me wrong.
A 7 on enjoyment.
Overall:
I would say that this OVa makes for a good watch. It has everything thing it needs. I'm not sure it's for everyone, I really think you'll like it better if you already like Ryu Knight the original to begin with. But for those who did this is a must see.
A 7 overall.

Story:
For just a three episode OVA the story for this is quite well thought out. It's interesting and has some good twists and just generally holds together better than most OVA stories. Interestingly you really don't have to have seen any other parts of Ryu Knight to watch this. It only references the existence of earlier story a little. It stands alone just fine.
A 7 on story.
Art:
The art is more like the first OVA than the actual series. Dark colors, more detail, and a little bit....I don't know how to describe it. Weird I guess. It's fine, not detracting.
A 6 on art.
Sound/music:
As usual
...
the sound is fine, nothing special. The music is quite good, also as usual. I really enjoy the music for it. So a 7 on sound from me.
Character:
The plot for this OVA requires only a few characters from the original shows. The "plot" itself is actually built around new characters and Zephyr. The "main" new character I actually don't like. But that's just my personal opinion. She's a "good" character as far as that goes.
A 7 on character from me.
Enjoyment:
Really I ought not to enjoy this a lot. It's not my "style". I like brighter types of stories, like the original. But it's a very good OVA and I like it despite its less comedy oriented plot. What really brings down my enjoyment level I guess is that I miss many of my favorite characters that aren't in this OVA.
A 7 on enjoyment.
Overall:
I'll give this OVA a 7 overall. It stands alone well, has a good plot, and has a complete ending. Something which is very important to me in judging any type of story.
This is a good watch.

Story:
How shall I describe this....Adeu's Legend Final is strictly a comedy. It takes all the characters from the anime and the OVA and mushes them together into a weird but very amusing show. It's very funny if you've seen all the other stuff involved with Ryu Knight. (Hence why it's the Final) So I would recommend this to tie of everything, but it won't be very interesting to someone who hasn't seen everything else.
A 5 on story from me, because their really isn't much of a story.
Art:
The art is super deformed chibis. What can I say? It's not great. It's cute and
...
funny, which fits the tone of this OVA, but isn't impressive.
A 5 on art.
Sound/Music:
The sound is fine. And as usual I like the music. But it's nothing different or special. IT does what it needs to though.
A 6 from me.
Character:
Goodness knows how much I love the characters from Ryu Knight. They're even more exaggerated in this OVA than normal, which is a great deal of fun. It's very amusing to watch how they act when there's no actual "plot" to hold the writers back.
A 9 on character.
Enjoyment:
I love watching this short. It's hilariously funny. Seriously, I challenge anyone to watch this and keep a straight face throughout. It's great fun.
A 9 on enjoyment.
Overall:
On my list I rated this as a 9. But as I'm writing a review, I'm going to try to be fair and unbiased. So I'll give this a 7. It's fun for those who know what they're watching, not so much for people coming in cold.

Story:
The story for Ghost Hunt is a very fun and interesting one. And at least for me, unique. It takes on an unusual way of telling about ghost hunting, giving you a look into the more scientific and realistic ways ghost hunting actually works.(Ar rather would work if it was real)
It is also told well, the episodes, or cases, are all full of twists that keep you guessing and wondering what's going to happen next. And it never fails to give you a complete and satisfying ending. Not to mention that each case is very different from the others, so there is a lot
...
of variety in what happens in the end.
A 10 on story from me.
Art:
Some might say the art is rather plain. While I'll not deny this, I must say for me I thought it worked very well with the series. The simpleness of the art in general makes it easy for them to pick something and have it stand out. So it's very effective in a horror story. And I must say, I did very much like the way they did characters. And the shading on the art also caught my attention for being nice and comfortable.
A 9 on art from me.
Sound/Music:
As a suspense/horror anime sound is extremely important. I cannot stress this point enough. Having the proper sound effects and score can make or break a series like this. And I must say I thought that Ghost Hunt had both an excellent soundtrack(I listen to my copy of it often)and did an excellent job with the sound effects. Both were well chosen and put into use wonderfully.
A 10 on sound/music from me.
Character:
I fell in love with almost all the characters in this show for one reason or another. The funny and sweet Bou-san, and proud and somewhat rude Ayako. They all were well used and their was a large variety f personalities in the show.
I will say that I wish they had given some more background on some of the characters. But it could also be said that not giving away to much information could be a good thing. Especially in Naru's case. The fact we have so little information about him makes his character more interesting and mysterious.
(However more information then in the anime is given in the manga)
A 9 on character form me.
Enjoyment:
I loved this series the first time I watched it. And then I went back and watched it again not to long later, and loved it even more that time. Then a third time I watched and yet again loved it more, to the point of starting the manga. For me, that is the mark of a true masterpiece. Especially considering that this show was a mystery, yet I loved it still more every time I watched it despite knowing the ending. This series is truly the result of genius on the production team's part.
A huge 10 on enjoyment from me.
Overall:
I highly recommend this series to anyone. Any anime viewer, wither they liked mysteries or horror previously or not. This anime is a must see.
A 10 overall.

Story:
The story is pretty straight forward.
A young man wanting to be the best at something. Nothing particularly unique.
But it's still very fun to watch. Especially if you like sports anime.
There really aren't that many good sport shows with boxing.
I'd say something which I really noticed and which really made me like the show was the pacing. Unlike most other shounen sport or fight shows this anime is only 12 episodes long(not counting the sequel, which is also 12)and because if this does not waste time but keeps things moving.
I know that I often find myself bored out of my mind watching a fighter train
...
for 20 episodes on end, but this show just keeps on going without wasting the viewers precious time on boring re-hashed training methods. So if you want a good fight show that won't take a life time to wade through this show is what you're looking for.
An 8 on story.
Art:
Despite the show being made in 2004 the character designs look like something much older. Which for me, as a fan of the old things, is very nice. It's like seeing your favorite old series, but the animation is good! I loved the art, it's fun and looks old but is smooth. A huge treat for any oldies fan.
A 10 on art from me.
Sound/music:
The sound effects are quite good. Which is very helpful to the show as it's a boxing show. You want those punches to make a good sound.
The music is not generally spectacular, but it has moments where it really works incredibly well and draws you into the mood of the scene.
I also like the intro very well.
A 7 on sound/music.
Character:
The show has an ensemble type cast like most sports animes.
The main character who is hard working, the mains's supporter, the smart, calm, rival/friend, the comic relief, the pretty boy, the slightly mysteries cool guy, and a few other characters which fade in and out and lots of 'villains'.
At first I wasn't really impressed with any of the characters, but after a little bit of time, and seeing the characters develop, I fell in love with them. And it's not often that I (at least) like all of the characters in a show.
Even though the show is so short they manage to put a lot of character development into it(and more in the second season)but as I said earlier, they don't waste time.
A 10 on character.
Enjoyment:
I loved this show to death. I rarely wish that a show had been longer but I did with this one. Though I think they did very well in stopping it and only making a short second season. If you go too long you ruin something.(It spoils >.<)
So it leaves you wanting more but in a good way.
It has very satisfying fights and lots of fun moments.
A 10 on enjoyment. ^^
Overall:
As I've said, this show would be liked I think by any sports anime fan.
I highly recommend it. A 10 overall.
I will mention that the ending is such that you have to watch the second series if you want closer, so please be aware of that.

Story:
I think the story is told very well. The pace is even and while it doesn't speed along it doesn't go so slow as to be annoying or particularly noticeable. And the pace does improve as the anime goes on.
The story I think is a very enjoyable one. It is very original, having several unique qualities.
It fallows the 'classic' way of doing things. Introduces characters, establishes personalities and let's you get to know the characters, then puts the story into full force.
an 8 on story from me.
Art:
For me, the art was very strange at first. Having an unfamiliar look, at least out of the things
...
I'd seen before I'd never seen an art quite like it.
The characters are very thin and tall, and the eyes have something about the pupils which I fine interesting. In the beginning I didn't like the art, but I grew to love it as I watched the show and as an artist I now find it very fun to draw.
A 10 on art from me.
Sound/Music:
The sound effects were normal. Nothing wrong there. They did what they should do, added to the experience as a whole. I do remember liking how they used the sound effects for the Nodos.
The music was nothing special. I can't even remember the opening or ending song. Though that means I didn't dislike it either I suppose.
Taking both into account I'll give sound/music a 7.
Character:
Like most shows there were characters I liked and didn't like. But there were far more I liked then did not. So that's plus. ^^
The characters are all interesting in their own ways and the show has several memorable characters in my opinion.
As I said earlier character development was handled well I thought.
Giving you just enough to fall for the characters without spending ages building up pasts. Very well done. A 10 on character from me.
Enjoyment:
Personally I enjoyed this anime quite a lot. But I didn't at first. This show has to grow on people I think. It has a very odd feel to it so I don't think it's for just everyone. You will probably want to already have a liking for mech shows.
Though the show has several things about it which could make it appeal even to those uninterested in mech shows previously. I think it has a great potential to be loved by anyone willing to take the time get into it.
A 9 on enjoyment.
Overall:
I'll give it a 9 overall.
Very good. Not perfect, but closer then most shows come. ^_^
I highly recommend it.

Story:
The plot fallows the same basic story line of the original game without to much variation. There are a few minor changes but nothing that would alter the story.
As a devoted fan of the games it's only natural that I know and love the story very much. So a 9 on story from me.
Art:
I'm a huge fan of 80's animation. Always have been. This show looks very much like Maison Ikkoku or even early Ranma1/2. It's very warm and straight forward with bright colors and smooth lines. For me, as I've played the original DOS game and the remakes of the games it was
...
very fun to watch the story come to life with my favorite era of animation. A big fat 10 on art. ^__^
Sound:
The sound is fine. But as the show is rather old the sound does leave a fair amount to be desired. I will say the sound effects are very nostalgic because they're old. But it's not up to the standards of today. A 6 on sound.
(Music) There is no music section so I'll just say this here. The music is basically the music from the game just re-recorded and altered slightly for the show. But it's awesome to hear the music in the anime! If I could I'd give music a 9!
Character(s):
The characters are all the same characters from the game and I love them all.
Because it's a show we get to see more character development. Still not a huge amount but it's still very nice. And who doesn't love Adol and Feena and them?
The character designs are also very nice, and generally very much like the game.
An 8 on character from me.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed this hugely as an original old-school fan! It was great to see the game come to life like this. And even if you know nothing of the games it's still a great ride. ^__^ I would recommend this to anyone who likes fantasy.
10/10 on enjoyment!
Overall:
Taking everything into consideration I'll give this anime a 10.
It's very fun and anyone can get into it. ^^
So I hope you all enjoy watching this as much as me!

Story:
Mystery is the whole point of this show. Who killed who and why is the question asked every episode.
As a huge fan of mysteries, I recommend this show to anyone who likes shows that have you thinking while being on the edge of your seat waiting for the murderer to strike again. You really get pulled into the stories, you get a feeling of pressure and of being uneasy as if you really were in the story. You want the killer to be caught and for everything to work out. Something very interesting about the show is the mixture of villains. Some times
...
the murderer is a completely evil person, but often times you feel sympathy towards them, you wish that they could have found another way. It gives you a strange feeling of realism.
A 10 on story from me.
Art:
The art is nothing special. I would maybe compare it to Rurouni Kenshin, or something else of that general time. The colors of clothes, people, and objects are usually very bright, but the backgrounds are generally dark. Giving it a unique look which works well for the type of show.
A 7 on art.
Sound/music:
The sound effects are good, if only because they are put to better use in this show then in most others. The music is nothing unusual. It serves it's purpose, it sets the mood. But there s nothing spectacular about it. I will say I very much like the intro song, but other then that, nothing out of the common way.
An 8 on sound/music.
Character:
The characters, other then the core two, change every episode.
There are a couple who appear in more then one to several cases, but mostly, it's a new cast each case. I liked most of the characters, but few of them were particularly interesting. It had, at least in my opinion, very likable leads, which is a plus. Sakon and Ukon are both very fun in their own ways, and Kaoruko is always fun to have around.
A 9 on character.
Enjoyment:
I loved this show to death. It has become an all time favorite.
As a great lover of who-done-it's, I fell in love hard and fast.
The show and its characters were all very western in the way they worked. The plots were fun, and while confusing were not overly so.
As I said before, I highly recommend this to anyone who loves mystery.
a 10 on enjoyment.
Overall: Very good. A fun ride that doesn't leave you bored or lost.
10 overall!

Story:
The story is a fairly normal thing. Several musicians get kidnapped and brain washed by an evil doer.
The most interesting thing about this story is the fact that said musicians are aliens.
Which makes things very interesting.
The story moves along quickly but doesn't skim things either.
And if you like AMVs you'll find this to be very much the best one you'll ever see as things make sense!
An 8 on story from me.
Art:
While the movie aired in 2003, the art looks very much like something from the late 80s.
That is not to say it isn't well animated. It's very smooth, but looks like cleaned up 80s
...
arty work. I think it fits with the mood quite well.
A 9 on art from me.
Sound/Music;
Something I did not know before I first watched 5555 was that there is NO TALKING! That's right. No voice actors, monologues, or trash talking contests.
The entire story is told with the music!(Very cleverly mixed with the visuals)
As the story is told entirely with sound, the score is incredible!
It ranks in the top 15 of all soundtracks I've heard.
(Which is very impressive considering I've listened carefully to over 200 OSTs)
A generous 10 from me on music! ^__^
Character(s):
If the movie has a single weakness, it's the characters.
Since there is no talking, there is very little character development.
And much is left up to the audience to imagine.
Some might like this, others might find this very dissatisfying.
All we have to go on with the characters is their looks and the actions that we witness, and while this gets quite a lot across, it still leaves large holes in what the characters are actually like. Their personalities and thoughts are left up to us.
And while this doesn't REALLY affect the movie, since it's a feast of the eyes and ears, not of the mind, it could be considered a minus overall.
A 6 on characters from me.
Enjoyment:
I enjoyed the movie hugely! I loved it from the first time I watched it, and have watched it several times since. Each time loving it more.
But just because I liked it, doesn't mean everyone will.
I showed it to more people then my self.
And they were not all impressed.
I would have to say that...you need to be a certain type of person to fully understand and appreciate this type or film.
I would suggest that if you want to watch this that you enjoy music much more then the average person, have a liking for music videos, as this might be considered a long AMV.
And have a mind which embraces the weird or unusual.
And enjoy techno! ^^
A 10 fom me on enjoyment!
Overall:
The way this movie handles story is something very interesting to look at. As their is no talking, their is no 'story telling' as such.
Everything is told through the music and visuals.
It is a feast for art lovers and dreamers!
It challenges you to think and imagine while taking you on a wonderful trip through the strange, dream like world that is created when music and animation are joined in such a unique and breath taking way!
I highly recommend this for anyone likes to imagine and dream to the hypnotic beat and notes of music. ^^

Lord of lords Ryu Knight.
It's a show I just happened to bump into while browsing the web and started out of sheer boredom. But I soon came to love it and consider it an all time favorite.
Story:
The plot is a fairly common one.
Evil creatures trying to take over the world and the heroes who try to stop them.
Something I liked very much about it was the combination of mechs with swords, old style guns, and even magic, for fighting.
At the time I had never before seen a mech show that used magic and swords, all the animes I had seen with mechs were sci-fi.
And I
...
thought/think it was very cool, and that it was pulled off well.
A 10 from me for story. ^^
Art:
(Style)
The art style is very similar to Slayers and other series made around the early nineties.
Triangular eyes, pointy(ish)feet, etc etc.
I use the same art style when I draw, so I obviously like it very much.
(Animation)
I personally, am a huge fan of all early nineties shows because of the animation.
Before computer generated animation became so big, and more importantly, so accessible.(cheap)
A 9 for animation from me.
Sound/music:
The sound effects I'm sure were very good for their time.
Though now, over ten years after the show was made, they aren't as impressive.
Though I wouldn't say their bad.
The music I remember liking while I watched it. After I watched it I bought as much merchandise from the show as I could find, most of which was CDs. And after listening to the music separately from the show I totally fell for it. The music is great! Awesome listening!
A 6 on sound and 10 on music, so 8 overall.
Character(s):
I love all the characters in Ryu Knight.
From the dramatic Sarutobi, to the greedy Katze.
From the sweet and naive princess, to the evil, misguided Galden.
Every character is very different and there are several characters.
So no matter what type of person you are, or what type of character you like, you are bound to find a character to love in this series.
A 10 for the characters.
Enjoyment:
I loved this series to death. As I said at the beginning of this review, I started watching the series, which gets off to a...rather slow start, out of boredom.
But now it's one of my all time favorites.
With it's skillful balance between comedy and drama,
I looked forward to the episodes as much as I looked forward to the episodes of Slayers I watched with my sisters when I first started watching anime 7 years ago.
A feeling I didn't think I'd get again.
So for me personally, it was a hugely enjoyable experience.
A 10 for enjoyment. ^^
Overall:
I will leave you all with this.
I remember very few animes I have enjoyed so thoroughly.
From the art, to the characters.
I enjoyed it all.
It is a wonderful mix of all the different aspects of anime.
My overall score for it is 10.
I would highly recommend it to any anime fan, be they young or old,
well watched or new to anime.
This is not a series anyone can afford to miss.
