As someone who went into this anime with very little expectations, I must say that I was returned wanting for more.

The concept is promising, the idea of developing telepathy through sheer lack of sexual experiences is absurd but refreshingly funny. Admittedly, the anime doesn't exactly delve into the realistic positives of it but rather uses it as a plot device that helps us understand the perspective of the people who aren't the narrating main character. More specifically, telepathy in this show is mainly used to show Kurasaki's unrequited love for Adachi. Some may think of this as a cop-out since it avoids the more ... common literary method of exploring each character individually. However, this is supposed to be a light-hearted slice of life, so I understand the simplistic approach taken by introducing something unorthodox instead.

The animation in this show is weak, something that is to be expected from a show of its kind. However, even the simplest of motions feel shaky with very little care put into it. The character designs also lack consistency, sometimes making it hard to remember what each character looked like. This lack of consistency has been prominent in other aspects of the show as well, but Kurasaki looking different in every shot just to emphasize how handsome he is, acts against the show in the worst way possible.

The "gay panic" in this show seems to be the biggest gripping point for its intended audience, most of the episodic tension and climactic sequences come from that. As someone who falls into that category of intended audiences, the cliche approaches taken by these first couple of episodes were enjoyable, to say the least. The main reason for this is Adachi's relatability in these cliche situations. His anxious outlook towards coming to terms with his sexuality through Kurasaki, an intimidating figure of societal acceptance, leaves you with the same mix of emotions that confuses Adachi himself. Adachi acting as the narrator and hearing his internal monologues of disbelief, his lack of confidence towards accepting the person that loves him and giving things a shot despite his nervousness is what keeps me wanting to see more from this anime.

In conclusion, I think the anime has yet to prove itself as something special. However, what it has shown us so far sets the grounds for something optimistic in the future. The BL genre in anime has notoriously had terrible adaptations of its source material, so seeing this take-off will be something I hope to look forward to.

Basically...every manga where we have a stalker trying to get his 'girl' turns out to be total s*it. I wanted to read this manga with the same mentality..." Oh hell yea, found a manga which I know is gonna be s*it. WOHOO...IMMA write a s*it review for this..." Well...I was wrong as hell...the manga centers around the girl who was being stalked...not the stalker. The kidnapped girl living happily with her kidnapper...not seen that much? Although it is really cliched manga...it feels like you are pretty much living your own life with them. After the first few chapters...one can be like, "Oh, this manga looks ... pretty bad...why not drop it?"
No! don't drop it...I mean it's your wish.
I mean...it hasn't reached the point where anything can actually happen...but up until chapter 9...this was a pretty good slice of life manga...
To me personally, this manga was something that...not everyone will like ...but has some potential to turn into a mind blowing manga.
(p.s. the romance was pretty bad)
