The main characters are very much alike, even though they are of different gender. They both come from a remote island (moving to the mainland just to go to high school) and the are really exited and happy almost all of the time. They both are also about sports and many different characters are introduced.

...then you might like Shinrei Tantei Yakumo add

the maincharacters are alike. they both have a supernatrual eye and they have personalities thet remind you of one another. also the animes give of the same feeling.

If you liked Soukyuu no Fafner: Dead Aggressor add

...then you might like Kidou Senshi Gundam SEED add

Both have mecha and maincharacters that are alot alike. they also give of the same feeling. if you liked one of them you'll probably like the other.

If you liked Sousei no Aquarion add

...then you might like Heroic Age add

They're both mecha and a bit romance. The characters resembles eachother in a lot of ways. In SnA the maincharacter is driving the giant robot, but in Heroic Age the maincharacter is the giant. If you liked one of them you'll probably like the other.

If you liked Utawarerumono add

...then you might like Sengoku Basara add

Both are they set in a historical era, with lots of wars and fights for freedom. The main characters are leaders/great warriors, but in Sengoku Basara they're more centered on the personal fighting than in Utawarerumono. They give off the same feeling and they can both be a bit boring sometimes, but if you liked one of them you'll most likely like the other one.

If you liked Sousei no Aquarion add

...then you might like Basquash! add

They're both space centred and in a distant future. They have both humongus machines, even if Basquash! is a sport anime and Sousei no Aquarion is a action anime. A tad of romance wich is not realice until later in the series and funny main characters. In the end they both have to save the world ;)
