So, yeah, I really like JJBA. To clarify, Battle Tendency is my favorite anime of all time, and Phantom Blood isn't far behind, so don't expect much objectivity :p

The story is probably the weakest part of this (and sort of the series as a whole,) though it is still good. It is a bit cliche, especially in Battle Tendency, but it is told well regardless. Regardless, the story honestly isn't all that important for something like Jojo.

The art style of Jojo is a point of contention. You either love it, or you hate it. Before watching, I had only really seen screenshots of the anime ... and some bits of the manga, and I wasn't a fan. But seeing it in motion made it click for me. I wholly understand why somebody would dislike the art style, but I am not that somebody. Also, the animation itself is very good, with both fluid and sudden movements being impressively done.

The voice actors are amazing. This is one of the few anime where I would actually say that the dub is on par with, if not even better than, the sub, though it does come down to preference. The sound design in general is very nice, never feeling awkward or clunky. Also, the music, you already know how good that is. In particular, the opening themes (best in the series btw) and the Pillar Men's theme are near perfect.

The characters are really good. Though, they are less of fully fleshed out characters, and more just there to give the story a reason to exist. Even still, I wound up loving pretty much everybody here. Even people like Jonathan or Caesar, who I didn't initially care about much, quickly grew on me. And that just makes every death hurt even more.

I greatly enjoyed my time with both Phantom Blood and Battle Tendency. Nearly every episode was a grand experience, and they are probably some of the only anime I would really consider rewatching all the way through. Though, there is a singular exception to that, which is that the first episode of Phantom Blood kind of sucks. But that really isn't enough to greatly affect my view on Phantom Blood as a whole, and also the second episode is the absolute best part of Phantom Blood so that makes up for it.

Overall, I would safely say that this is an amazing anime that you should totally watch. Battle Tendency is near perfect, and Phantom Blood is also great. If you haven't tried this yet, you're missing out.

This might be one of the weirdest things I've ever watched. Honestly, at times it feels less like a pilot for a 100 episode anime and more like a middle school students' 3D modeling project. Though, it does have some points of charm.

Story, uh... It doesn't really have one.

The art is a very mixed bag. The 3D animation looks terrible, just absolutely horrendous, it makes RatBoyGenius look like Da Vinci. However, the 2D animation is actually really nice, comparable to the actual show.

Sound isn't good. The music is fine enough, but the stock sound effects are laughably bad.

Obviously, with no story, any character is highly ... lacking. Though, they do have a few moments of mildly amusing antics.

Enjoyment will wildly vary. If you enjoy Kirby, like I do, you will probably get a decent amount of enjoyment from seeing this and comparing it to the actually somewhat good anime that it spawned. If not, maybe you can still get some sort of ironic enjoyment.

Overall, despite the low rating, I would actually really recommend this if you're a fan of Kirby. Mainly because it's just about 4 minutes long. And even if you're not that big into the series, you might get a laugh out of it.
