Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song
|
The series are not that similar, but the MCs are: they both struggle in the search for the meaning of "love" and/or "heart". They have similar personalities and are into a type of art (Violet in writing letters, Vivy in singing). I highly recommend both series. Violet is more on the emotional side, and Vivy has more action scenes. Also, both have amazing OST and animation.

Mushoku Tensei: Isekai Ittara Honki Dasu

Both are isekai that show the progression of the MC as they age. They are not focused in combat/action, but in relationships and development of characters. Honzuki centres more in the knowledge from the MC's past world and the socioeconomic aspect, and Mushoku in magic and in their characters.

Boku no Hero Academia
|
The MCs of both shows are able to use powers. They both go to an academy, but that's more relevant in MHA. The power system is far more developed in Railgun as they make more focus on the scientific side and how they can use them. They both fight against "villians". Both have good animation, fights, ost, etc.

These two have a similar vibe: similar characters, beautiful animation and romance as the main topic. Tsuki ga kirei could easily have been a movie like "your name", because of its structure. I'd pick kimi no na wa over this series in general terms.

While they may look really different, both shows are situated in a war. The big diffrerence is that in Youjo senki the MC fights in the front, and in princess principal the MCs are spies. Both have action scenes and have some magical artifacts to help them fight.

Both take place in same period. There is a relationship between the MCs of not trusting each other at the beginning. There are fights, not only duels but also with armies, which are well animated. Princess mononoke is more fantastical and sword of the stranger, more realistic

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.
|
The MC in both series is really similar: is smart, kind of lazy and antisocial. They are forced to join a club and that is where all the story begins. Yahari makes focus on the relations between people, whereas in Hyouka the "cases" and the detective game are more important. Hyouka is lighter than Yahari. I recommend both of them

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru.
|
In both series the protagonist is involved in a situation where he helps people in trouble. There are two characters that are really similar (Yukinoshita and Senjougahara). Both are focused on dialog with some kind of depth and character growth. The difference is that bakemonogatari has supernatural elements. Yahari is easier to watch than the monogatari series, because it is linear and the other has permanent jumps in the storytelling.
