This is most definitely a romance slice of life. It's so easy to read, chapters are short, and each of them contribute to this nice, heartwarming story that forms apparently effortlessly.
There's no real drama, the main character is easily relatable and you get to know the other characters little by little, with the big focus on Kamiyama, the student portrayed on the cover of first volume of the novel.
She's absolutely adorable, as are the other female of this novel.
Sometimes the characters social awkwardness will be extreme, it's definitely goofy and exaggerated at times, but altogether it worked exquisitely as it's a very good contrast
