So, this is the first Precure season/series I’ve seen. How do I feel about it? Now, to set something straight: when it comes to this season in particular, you’ll either love it, or you’ll hate it.
Me? I absolutely ADORED it. It’s so silly!!! But even though it was, it still had a great story. I loved all of the characters, especially everyone’s favorite sea fairy, KURURUN.
The music in the show I wouldn’t necessarily say is phenomenal, but it IS iconic and really enjoyable, especially the second ending.
The visuals in this show are absolutely gorgeous, and there were several arcs in the show that were extremely

So Nina’s shop is basically therapy, huh?
This short series can only truly be described as a mix of emotions, in the best way. There are parts of this series that I truly needed, especially in terms of my identity and confidence, as well as a deep dive into what truly motivates me to keep going. Nina is a really interesting character and the fact is that a lot of the time, the people who strive to help others who have been hurt before, the most, have been hurt themselves. The messages in this show are astounding, the visuals are confusing, yet also pretty stunning. I wouldn’t say ... Oct 13, 2023

I was absolutely blown away by this movie in ways I honestly didn’t expect.
The ongoing conflict of the plot was more gut-wrenching than most movies I’ve ever watched, and that says a lot. The visuals ALONE were enough to blow me away in of itself. Honestly, writing a review of this movie is so difficult because every little thing that made it so emotional and well-made are spoilers, and I want the review to be as spoiler-free as possible. Just…if you want to feel like your emotions have been ripped out of you, forced back in, and repeat like 5-10 times, this is the movie for you. Just ... Sep 16, 2023
Omg this movie wasn’t like a lot of the other Hoenn movies. It’s not Temple of the Sea worthy no, but it’s its own kind of movie.
The animation and overall visual of the movie is PHENOMENAL and unlike anything I’ve ever seen. The Tree itself is very interesting and I loved every bit of its lore. And no spoilers but, there’s a certain element of dramatic irony in the story, but when the truth reveals itself to the characters, it becomes much more emotional. Certain parts of the movie encore certain feelings: laughter, joy, anxiety, anger, and above all: PAIN AND SADNESS. OMG THIS MOVIE IS SO SAD. ... Aug 11, 2023
So as of now I’ve watched 3 out of 4 of the Hoenn/Advanced Generation movies. This movie, like Destiny Deoxys, is a pretty mixed one.
First of all, since this was made when 4Kids was still in control of the Pokémon franchise, Ash and Team Rocket’s voices all sounded very off to me, similar to Destiny Deoxys. However, one of the good things about Pokémon movies are their opening scenes. They really bring the setting and feeling of the story to life somehow. And the first portion of the movie was the most hilarious portion of a Pokémon movie I’ve ever come across (I wonder if the weird ... May 9, 2023

Why would anyone want to watch Harry Potter when they could watch THIS instead?!?!
I was honestly shocked at just how good this movie is. It combines action-packed magic and fantasy with the vibes of your average Studio Ghibli movie (even though this movie isn’t even MADE by Studio Ghibli, it’s made by Studio Ponoc, who did a great job with this film)! The technology and architecture in this film is magnificent, and the conflicts are unlike most films that I’ve ever seen. If you want a GOOD fantasy film about magic and witches, this is the one. Go watch it, you most certainly WON’T regret it! Overall rating: ... Apr 6, 2023
I cannot believe it. This HAS to be one of the BEST Pokémon movies I’ve EVER seen.
It truly captures the spirit of what Pokémon is all about: friendships, adventure, and the protection and care of the beings and things of nature. This movie is extremely creative, not just with the use of its heavy world building in regards to the technology and not to mention the cool-looking temple itself, but also the fact that there’s not really much Pokémon BATTLES. Nonetheless, the Pokémon and their role in this movie fit perfectly and shows a side of the franchise that many people tend to overlook. The storyline of ... Dec 30, 2022
I have no interest in watching the Advanced Generation anime. However, this film caught my eye.
Long story short, this film is pretty cool I guess. However there are a few scenes that bored me (ex. The Battle Tower). I also didn’t like Jessie and Jame’s voices. There are a few things I liked: - Tory and his character development - the scene with the Pokémon at the playground - the lore behind Deoxys - This Side of Paradise ... |
