This is a light-hearted movie with cute characters that is bittersweet but lovely all the same. This is a great film for those 12+ and I'd recommend anyone who wants a bit of whimsy to watch it.
Story: A wholesome story of two friends who have a club that is joined by another boy while one of the friends is away. It's not that deep of a story, just three kids on a mission with a bittersweet ending. The story and characters are likable enough to keep watching even if it's not particularly complex.
Characters: Roma, Toto and Drop are two 15 year olds and one 16
...
year old that all have their own distinct personalities. Roma is wistful and semi-goalless; Toto is a serious study-holic who is breaking under the pressure; and Drop is a hyper, carefree kid who wants to go on a big adventure. They are all likable and mesh well together.
Style: Cute, colourful and detailed. The art is quite soft, which is nice. It's a visual delight to watch on the big screen. The MCs don't all look the same, which is something many anime series fall prey to these days. Some of the music is a bit random, but it doesn't distract from the rest of the movie.
Recommendation: A good watch that had me bawling, but a happy way. Goodbye, Don Glees! is a lovely tale of just how dramatic life seems to highschoolers when sometimes there are much more serious things at hand that you don't even realise. You should watch this.

If you're here and haven't watched Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather, go watch that first.
Story: This is a spin-off of the film mentioned above and follows Yashiro's best friend (and initial love interest) and his growing affection for Kuga (aka "Mad Dog"). Story is pretty loose here too, a classic standoffish MC and flirty love interest that end up getting close. It's a bit more passionate and sexual than the initial film due to both characters, uh, being able to do it I guess is the best way of putting it.
Characters: The MC, Kageyama, is a doctor who swears that he's straight but
...
ends up subconsciously crushing on Kuga, a yakuza potential member who has been in the eye of Kageyama's friend's yakuza group. And they end up getting it on, of course.
Style: Same as the initial film, got that BL style. Kuga's art is quite nice, I like those sorts of character designs - edgy bad boy kinda thing.
Recommendation: I'd recommend it if you've watched Saezuru Tori wa Habatakanai: The Clouds Gather as it is a bit more sexual than that, I guess? But since it's an OVA special, don't expect to be getting the same kind of content.

This isn't quite in the same vein as other Blue Lynx BLs, but it is very good. Not as colourful and sweet as the more popular BLs out there but worth a watch if you like this kind of thing. If you prefer BL that doesn't really make it past first base, then it isn't for you.
Story: Not sure if it matches the manga (other reviewers say it doesn't), but it is a fairly generic yakuza employee/boss to lovers kind of thing. Has heaps of typical BL tropes including a world where basically every man is into men, the MC is in love with his
...
best friend but doesn't pursue it, the MC is addicted to sex and his counterpart isn't, etc. etc. I think it's not done in a way that makes it intolerable though. A lot of the story is just stuff that kinda happens and then the MC gives his counterpart a blowjob so like if you came here for No.6 levels of story you're not gonna get it.
Characters: The MC, Yashiro, is a sex-addicted pervert who has past trauma that made him the way he is. Another common BL trope. Doumeki is a quiet subordinate who also has past trauma that made him the way he is. Not quite as typical considering what happened. The rest of the characters are mostly fill-ins that don't play too much of a role, other than Kageyama (the MC's best friend) and Nanahara (his underling and right-hand man basically). I wouldn't say any are particularly memorable, but they all fill their roles well.
Style: It's got that BL-look about it. I can't explain it but if you're a BL-enjoyer you'll know. This isn't a bad thing, I like the art and I think it suits the premise well.
Recommendation: I'd recommend it for anyone who's watched other softer BLs and maybe wants a step up into something less fluffy and cute. Bring on part 2!

Maybe some people just like "edgy" things? Maybe it's okay to enjoy a gorefest that has no complex story? Mahou Shoujo Site ticks the boxes for me, as someone who loves gore and horror. And I mean, it's kind of even better when it's happening to characters who look so innocent - makes it easier to accept the ridiculousness of what is happening. This is not a series that is to be taken too seriously, even though it tries to be. And that's okay.
Story: Cute magical girls team up to stop an otherwordly evil and face hell in the process. Except the anime is non-canon
...
and it ends on a cliffhanger. If that puts you off, don't watch this. There's bloody backstories, enemies to friends, a cute beach episode, and terrible villains.
Characters: There are a number of characters you have to pay attention to, and it makes it difficult to care too much about them. The story builds Asagiri, Nijimin and Yatsumura's backstories quite well, but the rest you don't hear too much about. This doesn't really matter for me personally, as any more would clutter the story I think. It's really easy to hate on the main villains (not saying who) because they're just that horrible. It's really easy to cheer on the girls.
Style: Cute and colourful at times, dark and bloody at others. The art is decent and all the characters have their own distinct styles and personalities. Music isn't terribly memorable, but also wasn't off-putting.
Recommendation: If you like gore, horror and generally fucked up scenarios, Mahou Shoujo Site is for you. If you like anime that finishes the story, it is not for you. I probably wouldn't watch it again, but if you're the kind of person that's ended up on this page because of the genres, then I'd recommend this for you.

If you like the game, this is as close as you're gonna get seeing anything that is close to what happens in it. If you haven't played the game, don't like messed up BL, or enjoyed the anime as the only piece of Dramatical Murder content you've consumed - this isn't for you.
Story: It's the bad ends for each love interest. If you've played the game, you'll know what those entail. If you haven't and have only watched the anime, uhhh, get ready for a surprise. It's not an overall plot, but rather mini-episodes of what would have happened if Aoba made the wrong choice
...
towards the end of the game/anime.
Characters: All the main love interests from the game. Doesn't really tell you anything about what they're actually like, and only shows their "dark side", without going too much into the lore of the game.
Style: Dark, gritty, dirty. It does a good job of depicting the bad ends without showing too much. It shows juuuuust enough for you to get the vibe.
Recommendation: If you played the game, watched the anime and wanted more, this is for you. I liked it. It was authentic. I'd recommend it. Though if you're more of a Given/Sasaki to Miyano/Umibe no Étranger person, this is very obviously not for you. Rated slightly higher for authenticity.

This is a collection of 4 chibi skits that follow basically no storyline and have the same thing happening in each one.
Story: Barely any story to speak of, each episode features Minigishi getting Ootsu some kind of dessert and some light comedy surrounding each scenario. The episodes are so short that there's almost nothing to talk about, but they are kinda cute.
Characters: The characters don't really have well-built personalities, but what can you expect from mini-episodes? Their interactions are cute, but there's not enough time to really tell us anything about them. You'd be better off reading the manga if you wanna get any idea
...
of what these two are supposed to be like. That said, the characters aren't unlikable so for a bite-sized piece of media it does alright.
Style: The chibi art is cute, but fails to actually show how different Minigishi and Ootsu are in terms of looks, which is kind of the whole point of the manga - tall and handsome vs. cute and chubby. If you like chibi art, then you'll like this too.
Overall recommendation: The episodes are so short that you may as well watch them if you enjoy the manga. The art is cute, the vibe is nice, there's just not a lot to talk about because they're mini-skits. Wouldn't say it's bad or good, just average, therefore the rating of 5. You may as well watch it if you can find it.

Very cute, super wholesome, and a really nice setting. There isn't really any romance in it, so don't go in expecting kisses and such. It's a more of a comedic, cute story of two characters getting close after meeting under strange circumstances.
Story: It's a bare bones kind of story, follows the classic BL setting of the MC ending up in a strange situation that leads him to his love interest. But it's a different take on it, and is quite sweet.
Characters: Tamagawa is one of those BL characters that's a bit shy and you feel sorry for. Shindou is his counterpart that is a little
...
odd and creates the situation that Tamagawa ends up in. Both characters are likable enough, but not so much that you'll remember them. Neither are forceful, as this is a cute anime where not much happens.
Style: The art is decently delicate, with soft lines and a pleasant colour palette. It suits the tone very well. The music is also gentle, but unremarkable.
Recommendation: If you're into soft BLs that don't have much action, then this is for you. It's not actually one of those ones where a character turns into an animal either, so don't be weirded out by the premise. It's worth your 17 minutes!

Not quite a killing game, but psychological enough that it even got me questioning the characters.
Story: Someone in the main group has a debt that's got to be repaid. Who is it and why? What lengths do they have to go to? This story has many layers to it that you've got to make sure you're paying attention.
Characters: There is a lot of character development in this as well as different sides to the MCs that you may not have expected. What you think of a character the first time you see them is probably not how they actually are! The backstories are pretty good
...
too, but not that detailed.
Style: About the same as any other anime of the time. Nicely detailed and coloured, but still enough for the psychological feels. The music is good too.
Recommendation: Well, if you want the full Tomodachi Game story you ain't gonna get it with the anime. I'd recommend it for those willing to read the manga afterwards. It was a good watch and I was super disappointed that there isn't another season. All in all though, worth watching if you like high-stakes game stories.

This film is better suited to longtime fans of yaoi. People who enjoy things like Given and Umibe no Étranger won't like how this ends. I will say it's not as bad as things like the first episode of Junjou Romantica or any of the short yaoi OVAs from the early 2000s.
Story: The classic mistaken identity story - "he's not Superman when he puts the glasses on". I liked the setting. It wasn't anything special but a cute take on this trope.
Characters: Kuneida was one of those two sided characters who has different personalities depending on who he's with and what he's thinking. Tsuzuki started
...
off gruff but warmed up quickly and became kind. Common tropes, but they worked well with each other and the story.
Style: The art is nice and well-detailed. It makes this story's setting soft and pleasant to watch.
Recommendation: I'd recommend it even if you are iffy with pushy semes. Just skip the sex scene, it doesn't really add anything to the story. There are much worse ones out there.

This was a sweet BL that has a similar softness to the other BLs that Blue Lynx has produced. There are a couple of moments that viewers may not enjoy, but I think they are very minor and did not bother me at all.
Story: Quite basic, I haven't read the manga so can't comment on it from that standpoint. It's a generic high school love story, enemies-to-lovers type of thing.
Characters: Sayama's personality as a result of his past is a bit forced, as what happened to him isn't such a big deal that it'd make you antisocial like that. But at the same rate, it's
...
nice to see his character development as he opens up. Saikawa's actions are a bit pushy which may turn off the casual BL viewer, but it's not as bad as early 2000s anime or anything so it didn't personally bother me. I don't mind a little pushiness honestly. Kobayashi is sweet and cute, and her side story progression is nice too. I think all the characters are likable, but not memorable.
Style: The art is quite simple, but nicely drawn with a good colour palette. The music is soft and gentle, and suits the general feel of the anime. Nothing special, but good enough.
Recommendation: I would recommend this as it is cute little love story packed into 23 minutes that grows each character quite well. Make sure to keep watching after the credits for the end story!
