Nina the Starry Bride has a beautiful art, a good animation, but cliche characters.

Who is Nina? She is an orphan that got betrayed by the last person she had in this world and then sold to the Prince. She is hard-working, kind, smart, and beautiful. Ah, and also she's totally dependent on the Prince, as he's the one that feeds her, clothes her, and even educates her. She's too stereotypical.

Who is the Prince? He's handsome, a bit older than Nina, mysteryous, extremely strong (he takes out 3 bad guys easily by himself), very smart, and hold a position of power. He's the stereotype of male ... lead of the romance.

Both Nina and the Prince are so cliche that they become preditable too quickly.

Now, we have another big issue: the circumstances of their romance. Basically, Nina is sold against her will and that makes her initially dislike the Prince. But that dislike isn't very strong, and as she came from poverty, the fact that she now has great food, clothes, and education surely makes it easy for her to live this new life. Also, it's not like she has a choice, as she has no one left in the world. She's captive, she was sold like a slave, but the Prince gives her everything she needs... This isn't romance, she's just cornered and suffering from Stockholm syndrome.

Then, Nina flees the castle and is attacked, and guess who saves her? The strong and brave Prince, her hero! This is where the sparks of their romance start to get real. This isn't romance, it's just Suspension Bridge effect.

This is a review based only on the first 3 episodes of the anime, and overall it is enjoyable if you enjoy cliche. But I have to say, considering the latest trends on romance anime, Nina the Starry Bride started painfully average because of the cliche. So far, nothing has impressed or surprised, and for the sharp eye it's easy to see that the heroine isn't a girl in love, but just a lonely girl that is picked like a stray puppy and wigs her tail to the Prince because he has patted her.

I simply can't recommend this anime because it has no end and no development of its main plot at all!

In the first episode, it's explained that the debuggers are trapped inside the game. By the last episode, they are still trapped and they haven't stumbled upon ANY information about this problem.

The whole anime is about the MC meeting other debuggers, and their interactions are all messed up because it seems that every human being trapped inside the game has a wicked personality. They just brushed aside the fact that they are trapped and the plot turns into "let's hunt other debuggers and destroy their debugger ... stone so they stop messing up with the game".

The only good point about this anime is how they explore the game mechanics and bugs in order to win their battles against the evil debuggers. BUT often times we feel disappointed because the bugs can be very broken, and when we are in the middle of a great fight and the MC uses some dumb bug to end the fight, it's simply anti-climatic. We are left thinking "what, just like that? that was it?".

When (and IF) this anime has a second season, I will make sure to watch and delete/update this review. But for now, I really can't recommend an anime that has only a start, but no middle (no real development) and no end (literally, it doesn't end, last episode feels like we are barely into the first half of the anime).

Definitely the best anime of the season. The plot does have some loose ends and hiccups, but the animation carried this anime beautifully (specially the fighting scenes). The first episode has some CGI that didn't go well with a lot of people, but it was fixed from episode 2 onwards. This anime didn't end in a cliffhanger, but there is a lot of the story that will be unraveled in future seasons, we clearly only got to see the tip of the iceberg that is Tsue to Tsurugi no Wistoria.

Characters: 8/10. For the most part the character development went well, and we have a lot ... of characters that change from villain to ally. Even when a character's plot doesn't seem to unravel well, at the end of the anime they manage to bring them together properly.

Animation 10/10. This is the strong point of this anime. The art, the animation, and the scenes are all beautifully made, make sure to watch it on 1080p!

Plot: 7/10. Unfortunately here is where the anime loses some points... They wrapped it up nicely at the end, but some episodes just felt like useless fillers, and we end up with a LOT of loose ends (for example: characters that were there but didn't add to the plot at all, characters that are supposed to meet but never met, villains without a name or purpose, and even a NEW character presented at the LAST episode shrouded in mystery). So yeah, the plot is good, but doesn't get full marks.

Overall: 8.5/10. This is totally worth watching, and if they keep the same quality for the next seasons it will for sure become very popular.

First of all, this season is completely different from the first one. In the beginning you might even think you have the wrong anime... This time, we don't have a "Main Character" anymore - our MC from season 1 is totally different, the story is hardly told by his point of view, and instead we have a ton of new characters being pushed into the story in a confusing way.

In fact, we have so many new characters that we don't have enough time to connect to them emotionally, which takes away the enjoyment of watching this anime.

The animation quality also dropped a lot, even in ... the action scenes. What pains me the most is the new character design for the MC, always hiding his eyes, and with the low quality animation it just seems like they got lazy drawing him.

The character development didn't go well because we have too many characters and different stories all squeezed into 13 episodes, so it was sloppy.

The plot was definitely the one that suffered the most in this season, since with all the different characters and the sloppy attempt to tell their stories, we got almost no progress to the plots that we were expecting from Season 1.

Characters: 2/10.
Animation: 5/10.
Plot: 5/10.
Overall rating: 4.

This anime isn't bad, but I would recommend watching... Even if you have a ton of free time, there are plenty of better anime around.
Dungeon no Naka no Hito shows the daily life of the MC working inside a dungeon that functions similarly to a business company. And that's it. There's no romance, no drama, almost no fighting scenes, no big development or story to be told. To sum it up: this anime is boring.

Characters: 7/10. They are awkward, and the lack of plots makes it hard to see any real development.
Plot. 3/10. There's no plot, but sometimes the trivial elements of the MC's daily ... life are interesting.
Animation: 5/10. Other people here reviewed the animation as "lazy", and yeah, it's just not a strong point in this anime. It makes the anime too childish, and when matched with the lack of plot it just results in a boring anime.
Overall Rating: 5/10. Painfully average, to the extent that there's no point in watching it.

It's exactly like Arifureta, but without the harem, and very low budget. The animation hurts the eyes, the plot develops somewhat okay-ish but it doesn't tackle the vilain at all. Maybe this will be worth watching if the second season is able to save this anime's overall rating, but so far you are better off watching other isekais.

Animation: 3/10 - the CGI hurts the eyes.
Characters: 6/10 - an expressionless OP MC makes it hard to give this a better rating.
Plot: 6/10 - in the beginning the story is really good, but then as the MC gets free in the world it gets boring really fast.
Overall: ... 5/10. It's not worth the watch unless the second season somehow saves the story and they invest a bit more on their animation.

Isekai Shikkaku has a very bold plot with an anti-hero to top it off. First of all, I would like to tell you that this was inspired in the story "Ningen Shikkaku" by Dazai Osamu - this author committed a double suicide after writting this story. If you don't know the reference, then the anime seems very weird in the beginning... But if you know, then it will seem extra awesome! You can watch Ningen Shikkaku animated on the anime "Aoi Bungaku".

Now, our main character "Sensei" is a classic character from japanese literature, he's the post-war depressive bohemian author that is thrown into an isekai ... and given the mission to save the world! BUT it seems he's lacking any skill besides his poison immunity and the fact that he himself is poisonous (but only if someone tries to take a piece of him). He has no intent of being a hero, saving the world, or even staying alive. And yet, we have character development! The plot twist is that he actually has a skill that fits him perfectly and gives objetive to him and to the plot of this anime, making it awesome. Each episode we meet a new character, a plot gets solved, and the pacing is really fine!

This anime had such a bold main character that it could easily end up as a bad anime, but the author was really good at guiding the story properly! It's not extraordinary, but in general it's a good anime.

Plot: 8/10 - It's original and well developed.
Characters: 10/10 - Lots of characters that have their stories told properly.
Animation: 6/10 - Not a strong point for this anime, but the art style makes up for it!
Overall: 8/10 - a good watch!

The amount of undeveloped and unifinished plot is over 8000. His childhood friend plot, his romance plot, his family plot... none of those plots got anywhere. I can only say that watching this anime was frustrating.

Animation: 10/10.
Character development: 5/10 at best... Can't develop characters if you don't develop plot.
Story: 2/10. It had such potential!! But didn't focus to fully develop any of the plots.
Enjoyment: 7/10. Since we are always left waiting for something that is never explained...
Overall rating: 6/10.

I think the main issue is that it fails at any genre... It's not a proper romance anime, nor a family anime, it's a slice of life ... with some "drama" that got nowhere, and it ended up focusing more on the competition for the Student Council, but also failed at that because the character development didn't keep up with it - for example, his sister's bad behavior was not addressed regarding the student president competition. When it ends, our reaction is "Wait, was that it? This was the last episode???".

Thumbs up if you are frustrated because Hoshino Ai's plot hasn't developed at all since the first episode of the first season. This anime is just a huge bait! We have to suffer through random plots related to Hoshino's children in order to find out about the circumstances of her life, which is never shown in the anime. My only goal now in watching this anime is so I can come here and tell you exactly which episodes to watch in order to skip all the uninteresting episodes and get to the actual main plot: Hoshino Ai's true story.

Season 2 so far brought a ton ... of new characters, and barely any screen time of the main characters, and also has brought NOTHING to add to the main plots that were unsolved in season 1. And I'm not even disappointed, since Season 1 showed us that this anime is all about baiting us and beating around the bush.

I'm expecting to be back to you around episode 10 or so, when maybe they remember to bring back Hoshino Ai's unsolved mysteries.
[EDIT] I'm back exactly where I predicted! The very last minute of episode 9 finally had some development! So on episode 10 you will find something hinting at who their father might be. BUT the big surprise happens at the LAST MINUTE OF EPISODE 11! I'm not very hopeful about any actual development for this season, but I won't deny that the plot twist was a nice touch.

This adaptation was a waste of episodes, as the production seems to purposefully avoid advancing the story and selected the most useless scenes to "animate" (the animation is mostly static images, poorly drawn).
The New Gate has a promising start, with the classic "isekai'ed into a game" plot, but don't be deceived, since it will NEVER explain why and how he got trapped in the game.
But what is really important to tell you is the low quality animation. And I mean VERY LOW QUALITY ANIMATION. It gets worse each week, and then on the last episode you will wonder if maybe they released the rough draft ... instead of the finished version of the episode. Basically the animation is so bad, the drawing is so crooked, and the plot is so lacking that watching this anime really takes an effort.
Just watch the novel or read the manga, and save your time and sanity.
