My heart fluttered for mostly the right reasons.
I really liked the main story. Happy and wholesome school BL will always be my favorite genre and this doesn't disappoint! The characters are lovable and the transition between their character arcs in the later half of the story was so adorable. I liked Taira's character as a whole as he's such a fun character and super honest. The concept was pretty interesting too and their dynamic is just so adorable!
I liked both Taira's and Misato's characters and the side characters are also adorable. Hiromi is also so adorable that I wanted to pinch his cheek!
...
I'm so glad he didn't take Taira's questionable behavior seriously even though I do think I would have pressed charges if I was in his situation, haha. The conflict in between chapter 3 and 4 is quite sad as I hated the scene where the teacher forced and drugged Misato to do some unpleasant things to him, and I feel so bad for Misato. But I'm glad Taira was there to save the day! Although the 'blood' and the fake-death was kind of cliche, it served some decent humor so I'm thankful for that. The teacher was such a creep though.
There was one thing that bothered me, which is why Misato never commented on the sexual harassment he got from the 'groper' on the train; even though it was clear that it bothered him so much that he changed his schedule and I'm willing to bet that it still traumatizes him even till this day. I get that a victim's mentality is kind of hard to say and that he is embarrassed about being harassed, especially because it's a guy that's doing it. But that doesn't dignify it. It's really not a good mindset to have and I wished that it was explored a bit more. Misato should had DEFINITELY fought back. He fought back against Taira so why couldn't he do the same to the pedophile?
I don't want to talk about the one-shot story from Chapter 5; I skipped through it. I think the tags served its purpose well. That kind of stuff is NOT my cup of tea, and I'm quite shocked about the abrupt tone change, but I guess we can't have everything.
Overall, this was a good manga with cute and lovable characters and a decent plot! 7/10!

I was always into supernatural BL, especially mind-reading; so I had high hopes when I started reading this manga and it definitely does not disappoint! The gap in Hayashida's personality really brought him a lot of characterizations, and Mori's fixation towards big boobs but eventually picking Hayashida who's a guy is so cute! I really liked both of their characters since the mangaka gave them a bit of depth, making them fairly easy to relate to!
Although it has a bit of the typical misunderstandings, I think it went well with the story and finished it up decently! One thing that bothered me was how short
...
it was, and the homophobic remarks but I guess you can't have everything.
Overall, this was a decent manga with lovable characters and a supernatural twist! 8/10!

Decent Story, Bland Characters
We all know how the Uke is usually portrayed in BL and this is a prime example of that. The uke is an insecure, cry-baby mess. The whole conflict is just them not communicating with each other, honestly it should be clear that communication is key to a functioning and healthy relationship. Kuroda was emotionless at times, where I don't really get what he's thinking about and his actions are unpredictable. It was more of Shirasaka pining for Kuroda and it's just one rollercoaster that spins in circles. I don't like Kuroda's behavior honestly, the way he literally waited for
...
Shirasaka to confess first instead of just confessing himself made for some wasted plot and time. Shirasaka wasn't any better either.
Although they did get together in the end, and it does tend to make me think about one's insecurities especially surrounding family and love problems; I think that Shirasaka's insecurities is mostly justified. Seeing him feeling inferior to Kuroda did made my heart ache and Kuroda did actually harbor some possessiveness and redeeming qualities at the later chapters, it still didn't make up for the lost time that they could've avoided by just COMMUNICATING.
On that note, the story and the characters were cute and lovable and It was a decent read! 7/10.

The story was really good! Although I'm a bit confused onto why Hozumi decided to lie but I guess it's for Mishima's sake? It was really selfish though, I agree on that. The art is really pretty and honestly it's just a touchy feely manga. Although I'm also a bit confused onto what grade they were in because they look so young for twenty year olds? I almost thought they started dating in middle school, haha. About that one sex scene, I'm not too sure what to feel about that, it was as if Mishima let Hozumi did whatever he wanted even though Mishima technically
...
still isn't sure about his feelings for him😕 It was really sudden too, so that's that.
Overall, this was a good manga with a decent plot and nice characters! 7/10!

Insecure 'Wife' and Husband Combo.
I really liked how the mangaka portrays Hanyuu as some love-sick adorable idiot who has an unrequited love for his roommate and so called 'husband'. The pacing was nice as we get some backstory and what their personalities are and I simply adore Hanyuu for just being so god damn adorable. Though there were a lot of misunderstandings and I'm glad that Amano realizes that communication is truly the key in a good healthy relationship, I do think their relationship was so fragile back then.
Of course there were some non-con acts happening in the first chapter which honestly isn't
...
a surprise since most BL just has their characters forcing their love interests for some reason rather than talking it out. I feel that especially in the first few chapters Amano is quite emotionless. Whether Hanyuu is really obvious with his crush and blushes almost in every page, Amano has no visible signs that he even liked Hanyuu and wasn't just messing around with him. I mean, couldn't he a be a bit more flustered? Because at the time, Amano is deeply in love with Hanyuu as well.
The conflict was also executed wonderfully as the feeling of my heart being crushed as their misunderstandings grew into something bigger that really would have separated them if not for Amano stepping in and actually getting his feelings across Hanyuu.
One thing that bothered me was the 'rival'; Sagara. Sagara was a character that appeared out of nowhere yet his attraction towards Hanyuu never got a reason even until the end. Don't get me wrong though, Sagara was a decent character that brought some added important conflict for the main couple to actually sort things out and I'm glad that he fulfilled his role yet It was sort of sad to not let the cause of his attraction come to light as he's honestly a decent character.
Overall it was a good manga depicting some surprisingly good internal conflicts and insecurities. 9/10!

I've started chapter 1 with low expectations, It was supposed to be a short sweet story for me to enjoy yet I unexpectedly liked the characters so much! Both Seinen and Noiri's character are typical and bland at first but at the last chapters, I came to a realization that I really like them! Although the story was quite bland and even though I adore Music themed BL, this wasn't really hitting the "Good" meter for me as I felt the story was rushed.
Until that second to last chapter. During those 2 last chapters, there were so much feelings and angst and all of that
...
packed into it I seriously didn't see it coming. The characters grew from me being nonchalant to actually rooting for them, I think it's because love was finally blooming between them haha! It was very adorable seeing those two falling in love, and Noiri's character arc was surprisingly resolved in a semi-good way! I really like that ending where Noiri embraces the piano and they're both just so cute. I also like Seinen's insecurities towards his own feelings for Noiri, and how he seems to prioritize Noiri over him, and yes it's kind of heart-breaking seeing him like that but I'm glad it got resolved nicely.
Overall, this was a decent story with a decent plot and adorable characters. 7/10!

Okay so I'm normally a bit icky towards student x teacher relationships solely because they're mostly illegal, and the age gap is uncomfortable. I don't think that I knew Natori's age because I don't think it was specified! So I'm a bit icky since I don't know if he's in his late twenties or early thirties. But Natori's age aside, I have to say this story was so fleshed out I almost cried at the end. All of the characters present; especially Kaname, has flaws and I think that's why his character was so good. He was earnest and kind, yet he had an aloof
...
personality that doesn't really know what he wants. I think that scene where he gives up on Natori and with that creepy old dude approaching him which prompted Natori's friend to save him is the breaking point, his character was so lovely and heartbreaking, it makes me so attached to him.
The way he handled his attraction towards Natori and the way he matured and grew as the story progressed (I really liked that he amended his ways by apologizing to the girl!) was so good, his characterizations was really good. Natori as well, seeing him growing attached towards Kaname and his denial towards his feelings and his wants to cherish Kaname was so precious. That confession scene in the car might as well been one of the best confession I've ever read. All of the pining and the feelings just came crashing down towards you, and you feel like you can't breathe just like what Kaname was experiencing. I'm really glad that they decided to wait it out until Kaname had graduated, and having the sex scene at the end where they embrace each other for the first time was the cherry on the cake.
Overall, this was a very wholesome and fleshed out depiction of good student x teacher relationships with great characterizations and amazing art. Definitely 10/10.
