Arguably ep 1 was the best one, and even then it felt just ICKY all the time - a man well within his 30-40s obsessing over a teen? okay then... they couldn't manage to make the Sarina explanation really sink, i'm sorry, it just wasn't convincing.
At least it was emotionally charged, if we exclude his.. uhh.. pov. Then things happened, we reach the reincarnation, it feels less and less serious. They had no problem doing complex, things as babies, then they suddenly backtracked few epsiodes later "oh... uhh yeah actually the physical age mattered all the time, woopsie, forgot to tell it"
And this is while ... we're already in the romance subplot.. which eventually is just the main plot.
And it all rounds to be just another harem anime with a revenge subplot.
Aqua loved Ai, but it wasn't romantic love, but it was love, anyway the moment someone pretended to act like Ai he started blushing and shit (not romantic love at all)
Then his sister said that his previous reincarnation was her first love (where we getting at here, huh?? why mention it at at all???)
Then the rest are just some unsuspecting teens, trying to live their lives while falling for him.
6 is generous, but i did finish the whole thing so i guess the fact that i was tricked into thinking things would eventually change deserved extra point
