Characters: There are very few characters that are as relatable as these. These characters go through many trials and tribulations and we understand their situation at all times. Also these characters develop tremendously through out the course of this show.

Story: The story is essentially about the struggle to survive. these characters have to deal with hunger, exhaustion, pain, loss and much more.

Art: This anime is beautiful the fantasy landscape is gorgeous and interesting and you feel as though this world is real.

Enjoyment: This anime is extremely enjoyable, not for action (though there are some great scenes), but because we see these characters grow tremendously.

Overall: ... I adore this show, in my opinion the most important thing to make a show great is the characters and clearly the creators of this understand that very well.

Why do we root for the main characters, because we can relate to them.
Why are we thrilled to see the characters triumph, because we know how hard they worked.
Why do we want to see the characters have a happy ending, because they deserve it.

I do not root for the main character of this anime, because no one can not relate to him, he can operate an advanced piece of technology without the need to of rigorous training and dedication. the main character can make women swoon over him without work and while being the extremely uninteresting.

I am not thrilled to see the main character ... triumph because i do not believe he has put in enough work to trump. When i can see a character fall and pick them self up i can relate, humans learn from trials and tribulations this main characters can just do.

Lastly, why don't i care if these characters have a happy ending, because they haven't fought hard enough for it. (sorry if repeating)

Story: Fairly generic attack on titan stuff but that's not a real negative, but the show doesn't really bring anything new to the genre

Characters: Unrelatable, too much plot armor, when other characters drop like flies i wanna know how the main characters are able to avoid death.

Art: i hate the cgi but i think the setting and has some unique aspects to it that i enjoy.

Overall: I believe this is a very generic average show and i don't care for the characters and to me the characters matter far more than everything else. But i do believe some people especially those getting into anime can find enjoyment in this show (i really liked this show in my early anime days, few years ago), but there are too many flaws for me.

You may see the plot of this show and just assume it to be just another body swap story but this anime gave us a compelling story with great characters to go along with it. Instead of using the body swapping scenario to give the characters a chance to view the opposite sexes unmentionables, it uses this to delve into each of their psyches and find out why they act the way they do. Through out every situation secrets get revealed, relationships break and worlds crumble only to have their bonds strengthened.

STORY 10
This anime has a very engaging story, these characters are experiencing these rough ... situations that are tearing apart their relationships and it keeps you on edge because when a new scenario appears you know it's going to break at least one of them down and you are nervous of whether or not they will be able to be brought back.

CHARACTERS 10
All of these characters are wonderful and you love seeing how they will react to each scenario. For the most part these characters are very grounded, many of the issues that they are keeping hidden from the others are things that many of us can relate to so we quickly grow attached. The relationships between each of these characters is amazing, they each treat each other in different ways as individuals and you love their interactions.

SOUND 8
As far as an opening and ending goes I probably skipped them all but once but where the sound shines is in its voice acting. All of the voice actors (Japanese) are wonderful especially Miyuki Sawashiro, who is one of my favorite in general. The voice actors Breathe so much life into these characters, they go through so many different emotions from hysterically laughing to balling their eyes out.

I was engaged in the story, intrigued by the world, in love with the characters and in awe of the action this is a series to be cherished. I first watched this show when I was just starting to get into anime so I still didn't have high expectations for this medium and then The Devil is a Part Timer was recommended to me. I watched the first episode and that was the first time an anime made me laughed, the first time I grew attached to the characters and wide eyed from the action, I loved every minute of my experience and was devastated ... when it was over.

STORY-7
While watching this anime I was engaged in the story and eager to see the next revelation, but as I think back at it I can't really remember what the plot was really about. To be honest I don't think the story is really an important part of this series, it leads the characters into their new setting and allows them to adjust in the ways they see fit. The Devil is a Part Timer had a story that most will enjoy but it is nothing ground breaking, where this show really stands out is with the characters.

CHARACTERS-10
I love these characters because this show instead of painting these characters into their usual tropes it portrays them as normal everyday people with there own problems and responsibility (which is the cause of most of the humor), many of which we can all identify with. The devil is not the evil, menacing entity we would assume him to be, he's a man with bills and responsibilities, the hero isn't the big strong man that we should all base our decisions of of, she's a strong woman with her own personal grudges against the devil and who was pushed to take on the role of the hero.

ENJOYMENT-10
This is simply one of the most enjoyable shows you will ever watch, you will laugh at the humor, get pumped from the action and love the character interactions this is a very fun show.

This is a show that has one of the most engrossing settings with many amazing characters to fill it. This is an anime where the eccentric supernatural characters show how down to earth they are and how the normal everyday people are way stranger then they appear. This show has something for everyone to love, multiple romances to get invested in, mysteries to keep you engaged, shocking revelations, great actions and much much more. This show is so much more than the average show, unique characters, unique setting, unique plot this show is great and I believe everyone can find something to love.
