What drew my attention to MyAnimeList was my first experience with Japanese Anime. When I was younger, I remember watching snippets of Naruto or Dragon Ball Z: I was mesmerized. After that period, it was a long time before I reexperienced that excitement. Then, TikTok comes along, and I stumble across audio from an anime with a video. Because I was intrigued, I started digging into related anime and anime content like the Trash Taste Podcast. Between outside recommendations and assistance from MyAnimeList, I discovered shows I would never have seen previously. Also, I uncovered adequate or excellent television and some anime that was not for me. I have not dipped my toe into reading manga since I prefer visuals and film, and I am a TV-focused person. I hope you can gauge what type of animes I enjoy and want to try based on my page. My Anime List captures an accurate representation of my taste. Although my preference varies, there are some aspects and similarities that do overlap in and between genres. If you want my opinion on something I have seen, I am happy to give it!
