Shield Hero is a fun show. It certainly falls into many bad troupes and some very disturbing ones but it does do some stuff very right. The politics / real-life consequences of actions done in these other worlds was a welcome breath of air but the loli collecting was very disappointing.
The show was falling into a very repetitive pit with it's set up of the MC, who for some unexplained reason is smarter than every other Hero summoned. However, the satisfaction of the underdog winning was done perfectly so that most people would enjoy it.
The characters are a mess. While development does exist, it
...
is very limited and the others return to the same mess as always. The arrogance of the MC turns from justified to just snobby very quick so I look forward to seeing how they fix this in the future because as it is - the supporting cast are nothing more than generic frames and urgent depth is needed to make us feel anything regarding them.
Also, ADD a dude to the party for fks sake! Stop it with the loli collecting!!

This show starts out promising but it can't grow out of it's own limitations and expectations, bringing the entire show down by the end.
The story is generic, stale and never developing. The show starts out by mocking these kind of forced scenarios but then uses the very same generic tactics to keep a false sense of suspense. The author doesn't want to commit to any changes or development in the characters which leaves a bad taste as you reach the end without any kind of fulfillment, and stuck in square one, as the show mockingly tells you.
The characters are as typical as you get.
...
Aside from the one or two excessively flimsy characters, the rest are as paper-cut as they come. The show attempts to dive in and explore some of these further but at the cost of the main cast being pushed out, so it leaves it mid-way again. The side characters can be summarised into one or two words, and I swear, in one scene, I was unable to distinguish between four female characters during a singing montage.
Overall, the show wants to tackle issues neither the characters nor the author, for that matter, know anything about. The talk and long speeches about humans and their behaviour are delivered in a condescending way with a very dim, plain and unoriginal nihilistic view that suits a 12-year old. Alas, the comedy when it came up was enjoyable enough and the side-stories are sufficient to keep you invested towards the end. So it's a Fair-class of enjoyment.

I have personally finished all of D Gray Man and this is my review for it.
Story :
The story starts out really well, showcasing Akuma and Allen and an organisation to defend the world from the evil of the earl. Nice. However, the story get's really repetitive towards the end and at a lot of points you will force yourself to watch through it.
Art - 8 :
Art is really nice, great world and animation.
Sound - 9 :
Again, nice sounds and effects.
...
Character - 5 :
The main character, Allen is not a typical character at all. Allen is not the kind of character that would go for the greater good and isn't very emotionally strong, crying at every emotional turmoil, don't get me wrong it's good to cry once in a while, but it's taken to a whole new level.
Along the way, it seems the mangaka forgot who the main character is and instead decided to focus on another character, Lenalee giving her way too much attention and importance. Lenalee herself is another typical too emotional character that seems to cry at every other point, disturbing others.
There are quite a lot of unique characters in the mix that you love, but the above characters have the most impact.
Enjoyment - 7 :
The anime itself end abruptly in the middle of a supposed-to-be long arc confusing you and leaving a lot of unanswered questions, the story has plot holes scattered around. The story also frustrates you at more than one point.
Overall - 6
If you want an anime where you have a typical crying girl and a hero who so conveniently shows up at the last second just to look badass, this is your anime.

This special was what most of the One Piece fans were looking for. A laid back special with tons of hilarious moments. This special is about an old man and how he hates pirates. His actors left before the last performance, and now he has to replace them and the Straw Hats come to the rescue. In this special you see awesome moments of the Straw Hats trying to act and other sides of people. It was amazing with tons of comedy.
The story itself is very nice, it reveals the indecency of the Marines and it relates to how the world is today. Definitely
...
a must see for any One Piece fan!

I have currently watched all of the Fairy Tail episodes that have come out to this date. 165.
Fairy Tail has a ton of potential but it just loses it! The story becomes repetitive and the characters do not develop! You don't see them training hard enough, even with the 2 year time-skip. The comedy is getting less and the fan service more.
You can obviously see the anime pushing between pairings. To me, that's not something I like.
Unlike most top anime's, the endings are always predictable. Natsu mentions Nakama and suddently gains plot armor, wins and that's that. He is shown to be
...
able to defeat anyone, even when it doesn't make sense how he could defeat him. After the battle, he doesn't develop nor does anyone give him recognition for what he has done. One of the worst parts for me is that he has no goal. Luffy want's to be the Pirate King, Naruto the Hokage. What is you're goal Natsu? Nothing. With no goal or actual aim for the show, it might remain longer, but with no development.
P.S He only mentiones finding Igneel, which bothers me a lot, since he doesn't even care about his REAL parents.
Story : 6/10
Art : 8/10
Sound : 9/10 (Music is nice BTW)
Character : 4/10
Enjoyment : 7/10
Over all : 6/10
