i liked most of the filler arcs except the bount arc (- the one hollow ichigo scene) and why do the bount characters are so annoying
Soul society is the best arc by far.
so many side characters you just don't care about and their fights are boring
ichigo gets no development till the last grimjow fight (over halfway through the show)
orihime is annoying
most of the fights are amazing and animated well
the art style change was nice
so many nothing arcs like flash backs and the one right before the final fight with aizen
ichigo's full hollow was underwhelming
one of the best osts in anime
good ops and eds ... (you cant find any on yt tho and that's really annoying)
The power system is balanced well and the way spiritual pressure is shown somehow feels really anime and really not at the same time
bankai and zanpukto are used well and i never got the feeling that the powers were generic in any way.
the voice acting is good (you can FEEL ichigo's bankai)
Aizen is a good villain
overall even tho it has some bad moments the hype moments are enough for me to call this show good. (also because tybw is so worth it)

ok... Sousou no Frieren. This show blew up and made it to number 1 in mal. Because of this the show got a lot more hate and a lot more glazers. In this review even though i think this show is a 10/10 i'm still going to treat the show fairly.

to start some general thing i liked.

I think that in a show with such a large cast of characters for there not to be a single annoying one or obviously/objectively badly written one is very impressive.

Madhouse went crazy with the animation to the point i feel like this is probably the best magic has ... been animated in anime so far especially with how creative the spells are presented. (fmab and black clover are close).

Ok so the plot structure.

when i first watched the show it felt like i had clicked on a season 2 of a show that doesn't exist and that imiidetitly took a couple of episodes to adjust to but once i did i loved it i found myself wanting to know the deep history of this world and it's charecters and the show rewarded me with flashbacks.

The flashbacks are lets say a controversial part of this show. I'm in the camp that loves them, i think it gets the message that we should appreciate those around us while there with us and that the past affects the future perfectly. A complaint about them i sometimes agree with is that they are repetitive in the fact you see a flashback and 5 minutes earlier or later you saw a similar thing happen but that's the point. also the flashbacks get me more invested in these characters like there are 2 sets of the main group on concurrent journeys. Also a lot of them hit me emotionally weather that be with sadness or "the funnys".

Now my favourite part of the show is the romance (obviously have you seen my manga list it's all romcoms) and fern and stark are so adorable and i agree with sien and the sadness i feel about frieren and himel makes me kinda ball up sometimes (even tho it kinda is dumb to think about that in 10 years himel never properly confessed and I've just realised that at the start of the 10 year journey and at the end of it himmel and heiter didn't age lol).

this show made me cry laugh and cry cry.

the first arc is probably the second bet first arc in any anime (fmab is number 1).

I usually dislike tournament arcs but i like this one, my main complaint with it tho is the lack of stark screen time but that's just what the plot decided.

the voice acting is good.

the score is really good i cant really name any tracks that i would actually listen to, but the music that plays when himmel proposes to frieren i liked a lot.

the ops are ok, haru is the better one and the ed is good but not so great that i would listen to if it came up on a playlist.

this show has some odd "fanservice" where i cant tell if the animators of fetishes or if i'm just horny.

does it deserve number 1 on mal? no and doubt it will remain at number 1. Does it deserve top 5 or 10? 100%.
the one time i noticed the animation dip was with soldiers that aura used being cg not a big problem just thought i'd mention it

the music video is passable with lets just say confusing visuals but the full song it's self has a nice chorus and i like the song but i just wanna talk about how it's used as the ending theme for Naruto shippuden ed 14. they made me like the worst character by basically using this song as a disney princess i want song like at the start of every disney song especially with the visuals of her actually sinning and obviously the fireworks and the nights sky look very good. While definitely not my favourite ed it's probably top 5. this made people like the ... most hated character and i got to applaud them for that

You really can't go wrong with Spy x Family if you're looking for a fun and wholesome experience. I'm going to keep it short and say that if you liked the previous season, then no doubt you'll enjoy this season too.
spy x family season 2 is way better then season one as finally there is more action... Don't get me wrong I love the slice of life but when two of the main characters are a spy and as assassin I expected there to be more action and season 2 had plenty.
I'm gonna do this review episode by episode as this is a slice of ... life show.

ep 1. This episode starts the theme of this season which is the familly getting to know each other individually well. In this episode it was Loid and Yor and as a romcom/shojo obsseser I loved this episode.

ep2. This episode sets up the relationship between Loid and Bond, it's cute and full of action. One of my complaints in season 1 was that most of the episodes revolved around Anya but this season it feels much more even between her, the rest of the forgers and even some of the side characters like Becky and Damian.

ep3. As I said before this episode focuses on one of the side characters Yuri. Even tho i do praise this season for focusing on side characters Yuri is one of my lest favourite characters the obsessive sibling complex is just one of the worst tropes in anime. I wouldn't say this episode was bad just weaker than some of the others.

ep4. More Damian and Anya shipping but besides that just another fun slice of life episode.

ep5-10. The cruise arc is full of beautifully animated action, funny jokes, interpersonal character drama this arc is the reason i have this season way higher than season 1.

ep11. I HATE THIS EPISODE REALLY BAD I JUST WANT TO FORGET IT EXISTS

ep12. It may be recently bias but this was my favourite episode this season it's all that i said about episode to by better x100 in every way. The moment when Loid lost his cool really made me feel how far he has come due to his family no longer this emotionless person and tbh I was laughing so hard I must have watched that scene like 5 times.
To sum up...

MIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLF SHE GOT SO MUCH SCREEN TIME I'M SO HOR... I MEAN HAPPY

man I can't believe it's been two years sense i watched Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen. Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen may be the last time demon slayer is good from what i watched in the swordsmiths village arc and what I hear about the hashira training arc.
What do you want me to say it's demon slayer. really good animation.
Tengen the hashira for this arc is great, his personality is unique and his voice actor Konishi, Katsuyuki (who I loved as kamina in tengen toppa gurren laggan).
the opening theme is joyous and hype done by Aimer who most of her songs (at least that i have ... heard are more calm so that was a welcomed suprise)

That final fight which is an amazing gangbang of a fight. there has never been a more accurate group fight in anime. Characters effortlessly move from one opponent to the next, making the battle feel more realistic instead of the anime trope of cutting to a different fight every half episode.

tanjiros scream and tengens runaway have become iconic.
personally I did not like nezuko's new form it felt really fanservicey and so did the female villain.
Michael Jackson (forgot his real name) gets no screen time.
and I wish the events of mugen train were mentioned more.
Tengen's action scene against the evil Deku look alike are animated well with really good sound design and the bits were he saves tanjiro deflects attacks and the scream of sword duel live rent free in my brain
the fire effcts look like real fire.
tanjiro's headbutt felt underwhelming because with the villains this season they tried to do the "were the same you and I" trope and failed miserably.
Zenitsu and Inosuke are okay this season, but I really didn't know how much this show needed them up in till they were gone in the swordsmith village arc so I appreciate them more now i don't know why but they were just an okay part of a good show that makes the show amazing. And their fight with fanservice lady has just the right amount of anime bullshit to make it hype as hell.

this is just a typical workplace Shoujo romcom. but my main gripe is the art.
half the time the main character does not have a nose just the shading for one and it's so distracting.
you cant tell one of the side characters will become a rival and i hate rival storeys in Shoujo manga.
The dialog can be a bit cringe and the characters are generic.
as of writing there are only 5 chapters out.
the title is dumb "Twenty and the Beast" well the woman is 20 and the guy has big canine teeth. like... wow... really stretched those creative muscles there, they must have thought about that ... one for months.

technically the 500th anime i have completed. engrossing story and characters (reminded me of death note). semi stand alone so i wasn't confused. disliked how we never get to see how Mafty was founded but hopefully they will cover that in the sequel. really good animation with decent cg but you could tell they were running out of budget at the end of the movie. good voice acting as well. Ono, Kensho as the mc Noa puts on a conniving performance reminding me of his role of Canute (from vinland saga). There is a minor role played by Tsuda, Kenjirou one of my Favourite Japanese ... voice actors, Suwabe, Junichi (famous for playing grimjow from bleach and sukuna from jkk) plays the rival (remember when i said this was like death note) and Ueda, Reina does a great job at the manipulating love intrest.

this show is just boring.
there are no stakes it's just a dude talking to literal npcs. characters are generic, the show is unfunny, and nothing happens throughout the show due to the lack of interesting plot.
the animation is serviceable what you expect from a generic isekai.
the fact that the mc is in his 30's which they teased at the ends of some episodes is never used.
i cant get over how boring this show is it literally if i middle aged man went on elding ring did 10 minutes of pvp then just talked to npcs.
the characters are generic (because there npcs) we have yandere, sister ... complex, goody two-shoes mc and just other random literal npcs

the fights were alright and animated well enough and the episodic episodes fit the show.
most of the episodes follow the depressed npc mc screwing up getting to a gundam then either fixing it and making it worse. And then the side characters who throw him a pity party and are slowly drained from their personalities they had at the start of the show because of him.
The ending was anticlimactic and was even more boring than the show as a whole which is not to undersell how boring this show is.
BUT
my main point on why this is not a negative but a mixed feeling review ... is because "magic" the first ed is amazing and a great listen even if you don't watch this show.
