Before starting: Some people (who actually gave low scores) that made reviews saying "Ah! this show is meant to show everyday life like it's title", I think you have ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE of creating contradictory titles/contents. Well that doesn't matter,it is their opinion after all.
So here I go:
--Story (Score: 8)/Character (Score: 10) --
The story is not good developed as I thought it would be. There are two main stories and other minor stories which sometimes don't actually cruises way with the main story character
One storyline A genius little girl called Hakase that actually made a robot Nano. Also Nano has a Key (like that car
...
toys that you turn around, release it and it goes off) and that is concern to her because she wants to be "normal" and go to school. Also more on, Sakamoto, a cat who talks, is introduced to the story.
The other storyline is about three High School girls Yuuko (Is the more "energetic" and decides the most crazy and unbelievable things), Mio (The most bright girl of the group, also has pigtail that develops the other girls' imagination upon it, that by my opinion is very funny), and Mai (She is a quiet and very intelligent girl, I could feel it by the way the author has chosen her style, mainly the glasses)
Also the past history of the girls is not told which give the impression that their past is ordinary an normal.
These two groups join together after the second arc of the anime (episode 13ish ?)
--Art (Score: 10)--
The art in Nichijou is not unusual or extravagant, however the style shows well the type of atmosphere that they want to pass to the audience. The anime also used some features of the manga to show the character's mood (like on here: https://goo.gl/PD5g7w ) and basically all the facial traces stayed unchanged (different of some animes that changes some features from the manga to *cofcof* "adapt it )
--Enjoyment (Score: 10)--
Now, this is VERY VERY PERSONAL because you can thing on thing funny and I may not understand it, don't think it's funny at all or think of it as offensive (Like people say that Russian jokes aren't funny). That also changes from culture to culture (I am from Brazil and moved to UK, so I know it very well).
The joke starts with the title Nichijou or Everyday Life, that contrasts the anime completely, I find it very interesting.
Through the whole show, the characters are found in unusual and hilarious situations. However, jokes are not used too much. By that, they uses the situations, characters' expressions and actions to create hilarious scenes.
Honestly, I think that anime is one of the best of comedy that I've ever watched and the time spend watching was worth it.
