I never watched the original but I've heard this is a great Remake of the original following the original story beats of the material. Now if you got past the 2nd season this is by far the best season of this anime, it ties up a lot of the loose plot threads and overall it feels satisfying. My only complaint is Akita being so prevalent in the series and we really only got an explanation and depiction of her true character as well as her history from the end of last season till now and she was not a major focus until this season. In ... my opinion this season is an 8/10 but the series overall is a 7/10 because I felt like if allowed to, this story could've been arranged better but I'm content with what I got. Don't expect every character to get development as not every character needs screen time and a lot of their quirks are cranked back to close the character arcs.

In respect to a classic this is a respectable series and worth experiencing regardless if you're a fan of series targeted in the Shoujou category, it's really wholesome and it really tickled me at the end with the feels.

I recommend watching this MV at least once to understand where I'm coming from. From a music standpoint, it does alright, and Yoasobi's catchy vocals complement the visuals nicely. The main appealing part of this MV to me was the omage to series it is referencing with original mural-like renders alongside some amazing 3D CG works. I only say it's a 7/10 because it's not one of those songs you can loop, as you can get tired of the tunes fast. The score is carried by the art and animation alongside the VFXs. The MV tells the unseen story of Freiren and her time when ... she was traveling with Himmel's party to slay the Demon king 80 years ago while getting flashes about the present, seeing how lonely she is long after her friends, she regrets not getting to know deeply have passed. If it's comparable to anything this season, it's like Jujutsu Kaisen's Season 2 opening, "Where Our Blue Is" by Tatsuya Kitani, where the animated intro shows a similar story of a character's unseen yet nostalgic and distant past where they were happier. That's what this Yoasobi song and MV feel like to me, hitting similar narrative beats.

I was interested in this anime because I listened to the first opening theme on YouTube and grew interested in the kind of series paired with the song. I have to say it's not that impressive, and my expectation wasn't even high, the premise is very cool with the idea of eastern religious practices with magic combat though the series is centered around that, it doesn't even do a good job giving a superficial explanation, it could be the adaptation skipping on minor parts from the source material that would've fleshed out how the magics of this series worked, but I'm forced to sit ... back and accept that there's some hidden rock, paper, scissor mechanic going on.

The plot itself is left wanting as you're introduced to a set of characters that imply there's more to their appearance, but when their chance to shine as a character and develop comes it does not leave any satisfaction at all, except the main character probably. Character relationships are left to logical inferences, and power dynamics aren't elaborated. I think this anime was a waste of time and wouldn't recommend it.

If you liked season 1 but were unsatisfied with so many unanswered questions that season 1 left off with then yes I recommend watching this out of curiosity. Is this season as exciting as season 1? Not really, while we do get a lot more explanation and backstory behind the character motives in this season the plot sorrounding it feels forced and isn't really intresting unless you like the side characters too. It's a good round off season so if there was another season of this series then this is a good place to stop as the story does pretty much wrap up here as ... one nice arc from season 1 till now. The music in the opening sequence is amazing and so is the soundtrack as always and the character design is just personal taste but I do like the VFXs with the and emphasis on blue with the blue moon vampires. This season is only worth watching is you liked season 1 and are ok with just settling for a mid plot in season 2 just to satiate your appetite for answers.

Pretty nice, I'd say compared to most of the Hololive MV this one is the closest to what a "modern" animation style is. It's not avant garde like Houshou Marines Unison MV but it's enough to keep your eyes distracted. The music is actually good and I like the voice. I haven't watched Hololive livestreams for a while but I at least keep up a bit through the clips and see who's debuting. My overall enjoyment is a 7 because I like the music but I'm just not a fan of the character/person(not in a bad way, I just don't watch them often/ever), which is ... a fair score to a singer I have no attachment to but still has nice music I'd say.

I watched Attack on Titan when it first aired and only started season 2 in 2021, I did watch the AoT 1 movie to get refresehed on the plot and from finnishing this season it's a really good sequel anime. A lot series get sequel season that don't follow up in quality of it's predecessor but Wit really improved the art style from the first season. It trades off the gritty line hatches in some areas for better quality sequences and still pays tribute to the source material beautifully when comprated side by side. This ain't an electric boogaloo season, this is more like a ... GodFather level of sequel( means it's really good by the way).

I read very few mangas in this genre but honestly, it's through recommendations so I can say that I expected at least a 7/10. This was a 9/10, it felt so weird that a manga with this kind of storytelling, the explicit sexual encounters and the themes are so strongly conveyed that even someone who rarely gets the chance to read or finish mangas of this genre get impressed. It's a definite recommend and honestly Harumi Chihiro, I'll remember this name, beautiful art, and amazing writing. She knows what details to leave in and not to add unnecessary details. I would highly recommend going into ... this with an open mind but will be top 10 recommend for this genre.

Characters: The star of the show is definitely not the main character, or at least this first season and the way it's written he's not an "amazing" MC. He's very much a blank slate which I do dislike because it's open to self-insert but because there was a purpose of him being so I give that a pass. The real stars are the side characters and how the our MC is used as a McGuffin to get to their stories and how they affect not only our MC but how they would still be able to solve their problems without the MC yet our main ... star does make an impact on them that makes it intresting.

Sound and Art: The Ending sequence song is actually my favorite, the opening is okay but I need to be in a certain mood to watch it. The soundtrack is either you remember it and feel it or almost non-existente even when it is present. I'm aware the animation for the opening changes at certain checkpoints of the anime. The art is unique but not memorable, the character designs do their job at making sure that even if I don't remember them by name I can still recall their purpose and personal story.

Overall: Yea It's really good, even though I say it's a 7/10 it's only because the sound wasn't really standout and it was carried by the story which means this adapatation was just doing it's job and not going beyond using the advantage of it being an animated.

Look I enjoy these Vtubers in their own respective channel but this anime is disgustingly bad. There is a lot of superficial references that are alright but obviously you can't enjoy this unless you like ALL of the characters as this is what this anime is celebrating. The models is ok but it feels uncanny to the setting background they're because the character are complex in design yet they're essentially sitting in a room full of squares and circles. I wouldn't recommend it even if you're a hololive stan because honestly it's just 3 minute episodes of, "What the hell happened?"

There's a lot of things to like and dislike about this show. So to start off the character designs are obviously ripped from fairy Tail, especially Happy design wise though I appreciate that the original manga tried to spice things up with the color pallete change. This show reminds me why I liked Fairy Tail in the early arcs where it wasn't all lewd fanservice and friendship triumphs plot. While the theme of the MC is making friends I think it's nice the world building is slower so we don't have worry about it. It's a good anime to start with since clearly the writing ... has improved by the author. The fanservice is present but the moments still holds gravitus so it doesn't interfere with the plot as far as I've seen. This show seems like it's trying to for the long haul run so be prepared to follow the show for seasons to come if you like it.
