Kenja no Mago

Firstly, the story of the protagonist of Kenja no Mago and most of the other characters of that show takes place in a magic academy just like Rokudenashi. Secondly, in the first episode, the MC encounters 2 female characters in the streets of a city, just like in Rokudenashi. This trope of MC encountering 2 girls in the first episode is a trope I've seen constantly in some other fantasy anime, like in Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majustu too ( Rem and Shera ). Thirdly, Kenja has a combination of all 3 elements of comedy, action, and magic just like Rokudenashi. Though Rokudenashi seems to feature more serious drama and obstacles for the MC compared to Kenja. Fourthly, the MC of Kenja seems to be an oddball, stands out, or different than the rest ( in magic talent ) in the magic academy ( albeit he is a student and not a teacher like in Rokudenashi ) compared to other characters shown in the show. Lastly, I think that if you like magic school anime, you might like Kenja just as much you would like Rokudenashi.
