I used to think One Piece was the most overrated anime of all time, but at least its world and characters are memorable... on the other hand, Bocchi the Rock is the most generic "cute girls decide to form a band" story you will ever see.
Aside from Bocchi (the MC) and that one permanently drunk girl who rarely shows up, the characters of this show are just cardboard cutouts of generic anime girls with colorful hair. Note that when I say "cardboard cutouts", I really mean it, the other 3 girls in Bocchi's band can simply be described as : a generic cheerful girl

Waifus, sex and comedy... a perfect combination *^*
This manga is episodic : each chapter features a unique ghost waifu who will inevitably end up getting f--cked by Kamui, a stoic expert of "Japanese-style exorcism". The timing and way Kamui makes his entrance at the end of each chapter are always different... and they're usually the funniest part. Since Kamui is an invincible god-like entity in this series (similar to Saitama from One Punch Man), there's never any real tension. Instead, the manga focuses on Kamui's female assistant and her funny encounters with creepy ghosts, who always turn into hot ahegao-faced waifus the moment Kamui shows up ...

Content : 90% cute girls kissing, cuddling and having sex / 10% romance... it's a perfect balance *^*
As the story progresses, the sex scenes and the situations leading up to them become more diverse and interesting (threesome, bondage, bath sex etc)... eventually we're given an actual romance plot, which serves as a tool for the autor to grab us by the balls and make us beg for something to happen between Asumi and her shy inexperienced friend. By the way, I'm sure you've noticed already, but the art is incredible... you really could not ask for a better art style for this type of manga *^* The ... |
