- Main character is way too nice and everyone else is an asshole/protagonist torture porn
- Children complaining about their lack of dating/sexual experience (especially if they’ve had way more than what is normal)
- Glorifying pale skin
- Incest and pedophilia
- High school setting/Life ends at 18
- 'Revenge is bad uwu/two wrongs don't make a right/just buy the nazis a coffee and they will turn good'
- ‘School idol’ heroine (“wow check out hot protagonist girl! Not only is she cute, but she has the best grades in the class! Her athletics are top notch too and she’s the class rep and the most popular girl in school. She’s like a school idol!”)
- Bland self insert male protagonists (“how did a normal guy like me end up in this situation?”)
- Overused subtitles (“huh? What’s with you all of a sudden?” “I will definitely never forgive you”)
- School festivals
- Childhood friends to lovers (boy and girl are in the same piece of media so they must fuck)
- Girl who is always angry and hits the guy protagonist over the most insignificant things or over a misunderstanding, and it's supposed to be funny or cute (Does not have to be a tsundere. There are some tsuderes I like and there are some non-tsundere characters that do this.)
- Extremely conceited girl that calls the guy a pervert if he breathes in her general direction, and thinks everyone is sexually attracted to her
- EVERYTHING is a coming-of-age story
