Who knew something that was done to death can still be as refreshing as this?! Yeah Nisekoi is that kind of story. So don't expect a compelling story like Steins;Gate's or a Haruhi Suzumiya's XD
Story 7: First of all its story is basically a Modern Romeo and Juliet story with a twist because both Raku and Chitoge's family's are feuding but the way to end it is to have them be "boyfriend and girlfriend." Story 8: It is basically like Claymore in a semi-futuristic setting. It is Claymore in the sense that the ones that are fighting are mainly girls. They are being attacked by monsters from another dimension called Novas which in Claymore they are called Yomas (not that they are from another dimension but you get the gist). Story 3/10: The story started of as a standard slice of life. Having romance, comedy, harem and such. As you go on with the story, it becomes really unrealistic to the point that even the most unrealistic animes are beaten by School Days. Because stuff here only happens in hentais.

It has a lot of "borrowed elements" from NGE but that doesn't make it bad. In fact, it has done what NGE failed to accomplish. The only reason why people said it is like NGE is because there is a robot. The starting of the story really made people think that it is like NGE because of a giant robot attacking the city. :P It left me satisfied with its ending.
