Yahoo, the series features magical idols! Himari and Mitsuki start school together, where daily life is colored by talking about Aipri and participating in it. Himari ends up in the Aipri dimension through a mirror and a mysterious bracelet, and surprise, she turns out to be a very natural idol! With the help of the student council, Himari begins her idol journey.
Story:
The MAL preview says it all. There is a lot of slice-of-life style action, and by episode 10, no real story arc had started in my opinion. Most episodes revolve around Aipri live shows and school life, with perhaps some minor dramas or problems.
Sound/Music:
Pripara's
...
songs are fun and light J-pop. Otherwise, the soundscape is pretty basic, nothing particularly bad but nothing particularly good either.
Characters:
All the main girls in the series are color-coded. Himari and Mitsuki get the most screen time, but the most interesting personalities are found in the student council. None of the characters became a favorite. The small robot mascots are annoying, as is the live show host character. The mascots aren't even particularly cute, or at least they look really silly.
Art:
Pretty standard. Nothing particularly impressive, with a few poorly drawn scenes in some episodes. The live scenes are in 3D and look okay. The series is saturated with bright, pastel colors.
Enjoyment:
If you want light idol fluff, check this out. I expected more engaging characters and a plot that would get going within ten episodes. This time that didn’t happen, and that’s why the rating is 5.

Yes, it’s kids’ anime. Why it’s so enjoyable to watch? Let’s see!
(Note: English isn’t my 1st language and anime is still running so I don’t know what’ll happen in the future)
I was really surprised to find out Sanrio is making a long running anime. Well, it’s very cute anime. Character designs are really lovely and stylish, especially boys are good looking and fresh. Girls are a bit of mainstream, the main protagonists are shy (Karon), outgoing (Momona) and boyish (Mizuki) girls.
Momona is at his cousin's wedding where she meets his beautiful wife and then she suddenly is wandering near the Jewel
...
Palace, where all the lady candidates studies to become the number 1 lady!
During the 1st tasks clumsy Momona meets prince Cayenne, handsome and confident boy. When Momona starts to be around Cayenne more, Cayenne’s admirer Lilian says Momona can’t have him without being top lady. So hard road to aim for top place starts. But after Cayenne moves to another school nearby, another new prince called Miura arrives to palace. He starts solving the mysteries around school, Lilian and her mentor Lua. And why the Jewelland is bothered by long winter and odd monsters?
Overally, it’s been so far very fun to watch despite being kid stuff. It has elements of magical girl series, since the girls and their Jewelpets have jewelpods to change clothes etc. There's also some mystery, fighting and humor and of course the power of friendship. The opening and ending song by Fairies is awesome and all the music in this anime is really nice for my ears. Only thing what may bother sometimes is the very simple animation, and so far it had only one filler episode and one review ep.
Also the character developing is huge, clumsy girls get confident, shy girls more brave and so on. And all the handsome boys are just making you scream. Lady Jewelpet is also very romantic anime and all the pairings in the show are cute and works well.
If all the pink stuff and super kawaii jewelpets doesn’t scare you away, give it a chance! It gets better the more you watch it!

Yuuta starts new high school. He wanted to get rid off from his past, which includes "eight-grader syndrome." It causes that you life apart from reality and have imagination fights and so on. There´s one girl in the class who´s having serious syndrome. Rikka is wearing and eye patch and lives in the same house than Yuuta. Yuuta tries to help Rikka to get off the syndrome while hanging out with other characters. They´re having a unofficial club. While the story goes on, Rikka and Yuuta fells in love and also Rikka´s past is revealed.
There´s also some nice side stories around the main one and
...
all of the characters are fun to follow. All of them grow.
Art is nice, smooth and moe. Music is nice too, goes well with the story and emotions while playing in the background. I especially liked the fight scenes, and one scene where Rikka is at yard of her old home. A house inside of her head is burning which is one step closer to real life.
There is, of course, some very fun moments.
The story is very easy to identify. There´s a theme about searching yourself, the feelings of love, wandering between reality and your own, closed world while others tries to help you. Yet others doesn't understand you thou you´re trying.
Overally quite nice experience. :)

I was expecting a little more from the story. Since Erio dont remember anything,
Niwa was thinking in the start to help her. It created a image that he´ll solve the mystery what happened during the 6th months. There was also some hints what happened before she fell from the bridge.
Sometimes the space and alien theme annoyed. The ending at the temple was interesting thou. Actually it feels like there isnt any story, yet there is. The characters are mainly hanging out having fun.
Art was pretty thou pretty simple at the times. Overally very beautiful, especially liked the water elemenst and shining around hairs.
Music was
...
nice, very deligthful and nice to listen. Gives nicely boost to the story also.
For me the anime was nice, there was character development, fun moments and the characters were nice to follow. Just Erio´s voice was very annoying.
But I´m sure there´s better animes in this genre.
