The first thing to discuss with this series is the humour which if your into your innuendos, sex jokes & sexual misunderstandings than this is the perfect series for you as the entire show is built around this type of humour. It's a series that feels very much like Seitokai Yakuindomo with the same type of humour & almost identical episode pacing.
Onto our characters (of which there are a few. Firstly we have our two main characters Haruka who is quite shy & pretty dense, he also has many sexual fantasies but doesn't like to express them. Next is Akiho who agrees to date Haruka
...
despite never dating before leading her to wanna be the perfect girlfriend which leads to some genuine hilarity as she's extremely unexperienced in anything sexual but she's incredibly perverted & tends to think to much into things leading to awkward situations.
There are many side characters (some of which don't show up all to often) such as Kanata (Harukas sister) who becomes immensely jealous & upset about not being her brothers Number 1 girl now that he's dating (also has a brother complex & is quite naive). Then you have Shizuku who is a childhood friend of Haruka but acts like a big sis at school. She loves to tease Haruka & Akiho but she's also very lewd & self conscious of her breasts small size. Then we have Rina who transfers from an all girls school to this coed one. She is very open about being sexual but has only ever seen female relationships & wants to know more about boys leading to her making Haruka more than a little flustered & embarrassed much of the time.
Those are the characters you will spend much of the time with however there are a few others such as Saori who likes to try & keep everything decent & proper but tends to cause more problems for herself & overreact or Seiya who is extremely popular with the girls but is only interested in men especially Haruka (despite Haruka being totally oblivious to this).
There are other characters too but it's this eclectic mix of characters & the non-stop barrage of innuendos & misunderstandings that really keep the show going. There is nothing here particularly exceptional for this type of sex comedy & nothing too incredibly raunchy but what it does do is provide tons of laughs with a bunch of perverted, wacky characters & as expected a little bit of sweetness to take the edge of off everything.
The music in the series serves its purpose but isn't anything special (not that you expect any groundbreaking music for a show like this) & the animation itself is your typical mid range animation with good expression work & good character movement but again nothing earth shattering but it's still very appealing.
In conclusion if you have seen or enjoyed series such as Hensuki or Seitokai Yakuindomo than this will be an easy recommendation & an easy watch for you. 8/10

Now this was a fun one. What's interesting is how it's a Yuri Harem Comedy while also not being a full Yuri due to the fact that our main Hero/Heroine Natsuru Senou is a guy who is a Kämper (Girls with special powers whose only job is to fight each other) so he has girls coming after his Girl & Guy form. So only a Girl can be a Kämper so you might ask well how can Senou be one if he's a guy, well he has a bracelet that fully transforms him into a girl at random for random periods of time (at least
...
at first) however this alternative Kämpfer version of him is extremely popular with all the girls at school many of which just declare their love for her straight away.
This leads to a lot of the comedy as Senou has to navigate through these would be lovers while also fighting enemy Kåmpfers as well. Things start rough when one on the Schools idols (Who Senou has a crush on) falls in love with his Kämper form & while in female form during break (In his female form) with his school president (An enemy Kämpfer) spews out that he is dating his male form. Of course everyone doesn't know they are one & the same & then become outraged at this & continue to fight for his Kämpfer forms love. Confusing right, well don't worry as it only gets weirder, thats just a summary of the first few episodes. My main complaint is kind of a complaint but not really as the main Kämpfer plot gets lost for much of the show (except for the final few episodes) as it focuses more on the Romantic Harem side of things, but if you like that type of show (as i do) then you can look past it.
There's also some Fan Service but don't expect anything as extreme as something like Senran Kagura but it's there & it's still saucy at times, especially considering this released all the way back in 2009. But overall despite the main premise disappearing much of the time, it's a fun (if not generic) Romantic Comedy with a bunch of cute girls, tons of jokes & some action sequences sprinkled in.
I'll also throw in the two OVAs as well which unlike most OVAs that are not necessary at all to the overall plot the OVAs for Kämpfer (at least the first one) is quite plot crucial. Unfortunately even with the OVAs you won't get a proper conclusion with this series. However if you like Harem Comedies then you'll get some enjoyment out of this as well. 8/10

What I can only describe as Cheaper By The Dozen meets The Trueman Show, CTD is a superb slice of life anime which follows an extraordinary family living an extraordinary life. With tons of heart, lots of warmth & many laughs CTD follows 9 siblings as they battle it out to win the publics favour to become the next king. Our main lead Akane Sakurada is an incredibly shy girl who you absolutely fall in love with.
The relationships between the siblings range from very sweet to sometimes incredibly sad but seeing all of their bonds tighten over this competition is so sweet to watch.

Surprisingly as well for a show with as many characters as this has the writers somehow manage to give each character their own plot & time to shine throughout the series, which is mighty impressive as a big cast can usually cause many characters to become lost in the shuffle.
There is of course plenty of humour in this series some slapstick, some situational but most if not all of the jokes tend to land & get a little chuckle or smile. There is also a very tiny bit of Fan Service but nothing more than panty shots & it's usually reserved for Akane just because she's easily embarrassed & it produces some laughs because of that. But just don't expect the show to be constantly throwing fan service at you as you won't get it here.
But overall an incredibly fun Slice Of Life Family Comedy. Also throw in some superpowers (some quite useless but nonetheless amusing) & this is one anime that you don't wanna sleep on. 10/10

We follow Raul a man who dreamt of becoming a Hero his whole life but when the Demon King is defeated Heroes are rendered almost obsolete. With no prospects of becoming a hero Raul decides to work at the local Magic Appliance retail store.
Enter Fino Bloodstone Daughter of the Demon King who decides to work at the same store. Raul must navigate Fino through her day to day work trying to teach her how humans behave. Having a fish out of water like Fino (whose ideas are a little erm... different from your average human) lead to some incredibly funny (& Awkward) moments. If you

If i had to describe this show in 3 words it'd be Weird, Wacky & Wonderful. We follow 3 characters, Yasuna who is a Carefree, Simple Minded high school girl, Sonia who is Yasunas best friend who aludes an aura of toughness (despite being scared of many animals) & who is also an Assassin & lastly Agiri a very laid back & calm Ninja who tends to confuse Yasuna & Sonia with her rather strange Ninjitsu techniques.
Each episode takes place (Usally) over the course of a day & features a series of wild scenarios as the girls get wrapped up in bizarre situations with
...
each other. Very funny & very slapstick, the contrasting personalities of the 3 characters made each episode a joy to watch as each character is just different enough that the jokes & humorous situations they find themselves in never get old. It features a very simplistic animation style that i fell suits the almost Saturday morning kids show vibe it has going for it & it allows for some incredibly funny animation techniques to be used that don't get lost in the mix of like other more highly stylised animes can.
If you want a fast paced, wacky show that's perfect to shut your brain off too then this is definitely for you. I'll end with this comparison, this show brought back memories of me as a child watching Cartoon, Cartoons late at night on Cartoon Network which just for that it gets my full seal of approval. 10/10

First thing to note is that the art style & animation are absolutely gorgeous. The characters have a wonderful hand drawn look to them, while the backgrounds have a stunning painted look, every single frame is a pleasure to behold.
Next the soundtrack/score which just like the animation is amazing & incredibly diverse as one minute you get a nice, light traditional percussion piece & the next you'll be tapping away to a fast paced, energetic techno piece for some of the more intense action sequences. The series also features a few mind bending & surreal sections/locations that just add to the overall uniqueness of
...
the series, that also helps to keep you on your toes as you never know what's coming up in the next scene.
The series follows Papika & Cocona as they adventure in the world of Pure Illusion in search of Shards that once collected will unleash your wildest dreams & wishes (and perhaps more). Papika is a very energetic, bouncy girl who can tend to follow her heart more than her head often leading into trouble but all the while she's having fun & has quite a thirst for adventure, whereas Cocono is more steadfast & tends to more often than not use her intelligence & not rush into things before thinking them through & at the beginning isn't very adventurous like Papika. It's the relationship between these two that really carries the entire show watching them grow & bond with each other is an absolute joy to watch. Except many plot twists & character revelations that'll leave you speechless as well.
For a series almost reminiscent of the works of Studio Ghibli & with some lovely heart warming scenes, tear jerking moments & a hearty dose of adventure & fun this is a show that'll keep you entertained until the final credits roll. 9/10
