Well here we are, another anime about school and rom-com. This anime is called Alya Sometimes Hides Her Feelings in Russian which gives a unique situation when a girl speak russia to hide her emotion. But yet our masachika understands all what Alya said. This anime fills with excitement and funny interactions between each characters. Beside that, it shows the psychological warfare and strategy tactics to achieve the MC’s goals. Here is the explanation of each part :
Story (7/10)
I must say that the story is not the best one. Yet it was a decent one. The story is kind of all over the place.

At one point it focused on romance, at another point it focused on MC’s goal, and other story aspects. But the story is still enjoyable, even though I think the progression is rather on the unhurried pace.
Art (10/10)
They nailed it on the art. The detail of each character and every body part is well looked after such as lips, eyes, etc. The lighting is so perfect and adjusted to the situation and time background especially in romance scenes. One thing also the comedic animation is still there, still funny but not overpowering funny. The art is one of the superiority of this series. The art in the anime intro is outstanding.
Sound (8/10)
This anime put a lot of effort into the ED songs. The ED songs are so variative in each episode. The opening song is still enjoyable but it is pretty similar to other rom-com opening songs. The background sound they are using is spot on. The seiyuu doing a very great job in the voices, all the voices differ one to another in each character and by recognizing the voice, it displays character personality more strongly. Maybe just the language barrier which uses a bit of Russian language makes the voice of each character kinda off but still that is acceptable.
Character (9/10)
The main character shows some great character personality a little differently than any other anime romcom. It can show fear and some desire that makes it special. The character development of the main character can be seen when the male lead becomes more concerned and the female lead becomes more open and expresses her emotion more often. The antagonist is really good at doing their part by using mind and psychological strategies. The support characters still have a significant part in developing our main character. The support characters also had unique and distinctive personalities.
Enjoyment (9/10)
One of the enjoyment of watching this anime is how much fan service they give to viewers. The fan service with incredible art makes it so enjoyable to watch. Another aspect that is special is that they are using a relatable character to make the viewer connected with their life. Also this anime sometimes uses “breaking the fourth wall” to make the series more interesting and makes viewers invested in it. The comedy is still there and not awkward. The depiction of school is so good especially within the student council organisation. Meanwhile the romance, while still not a lot, it can be seen progressing and when the romance scene appeared, it executed perfectly and makes the viewers feel the love.
Well it seems this anime is overall giving very good experiences to the audiences. It’s kind of a light anime to digest and enjoy. This anime is similar to other rom-com anime but still stood out with their own uniqueness. It delivered some of the great art with passionate voice actors/actresses with a little detail that makes it distinctive from the others such as “breaking fourth wall”, fan service, and beautiful character portraying that makes viewers love each character even the supporting one. I advised you to give it a try to watch this anime too if you like romance comedy anime.

Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Season 2 offers a new perspectives in romance anime genre. This anime still consistent keeping its quality to the max with every episode released. The love journey of the main characters (Ichikawa Kyoutarou and Yamada Anna) as they grow up to become a better person for each other. Their bond keeps growing as they go through their middle high school life with the involvement of other students in their life and events that affect their relationship. Story (10/10)
The story progression is so consistent in each episode. Every episode shows how the main characters relationships keep growing little by little. While they focus on their lives as students, they keep supporting each other and exhibiting their affection for each other. Kyoutarou is a student who feels like he doesn’t belong in society, while Yamada has insecurities and worries that she is not her perfect self. Their interaction makes them better people and solidifies their connection to tackle the issues they faced in school and outside of school. The story pacing is not too fast or too slow, and it keeps progressing towards the romance of the main characters.
Art (10/10)
For romance anime, the animators nailed it their animations and the art with such as great background and lighting. The drawing for giving the school life vibes is just spot on. Even some memorable events like the snow scene and the ending drawn so beautifully, that elevated some of the monumental occasions in this series. The comedy animation is really good too with great facial expression and not too over-cringy animation. Not to mention the beautiful OP video they composed, its just so appealing to watch

Probably one of the best OP i’ve ever heard in all of romance anime. The OP using incredible duet voices and the ED song was so calming and relaxing. Unfortunately, the ED song is nothing special is just like most common ED song that used in every anime. The background music is spot on, but it used many BG music from previous season of this anime. It will be better if it used more variety of BG music. The VA really get into their roles, especially the main character’s seiyuu. Ichikawa voice is not always low and gloomy, it can be shrill too, meanwhile yamada’s voice is often happy and cheerful but also sometimes it can be sound so emotional in the peak moments. Their voices matches their personality so well.
Character (10/10)
The best part from this anime is how well they portrayed the character development in this series. From previous season, we can see that Ichikawa has personality of “quiet” type person and indifferent to others. But in this season, he become more care to others and prefer joining his friends now rather than being alone. Another great character development is from Yamada. Yamada seems so cheerful but deep inside she still afraid that people don’t like her with her imperfections. But later on, we can see she become more confident to herself and more open to her feeling rather than suppressing them.
We also can see their character development in their relationship furthermore. They become more considerate to each other and support each other in each other problems as a middle school students. Surprisingly, the side cast characters assist the bond of Ichikawa and Yamada to become even more stronger. With their advice or action, they supported the main duo to become more powerful and stronger than before. The side characters personalities also adds up to the comedies of this series.

The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 surely is elevated than its previous season. The progression of the romance story is so advanced. The consistency of every episode is top-notch where each episode is so enjoyable to watch. The OP section is outstanding with beautiful song and mesmerizing choreography. The main characters compliment each other and together they built their love story into a beautiful narrative. The romance progression is presented with a perfect momentum, not too fast and not too slow. LAST BUT NOT LEAST, THE ENDING OF THIS SEASON IS SO IMPECCABLE AND SHOWED THE TRUE FORM OF ROMANCE ANIME !
Boku no Kokoro no Yabai Yatsu Season 2 or in english called The Dangers in My Heart Season 2 should be deserved an award as the best romance anime in this season or even this year. It showcased beautiful art with understandable story telling followed by impactful character development accompanied by brilliant romance stories in perfect pacing. I highly recommended this anime to the viewers who loves watching comedic romance anime because this anime is the definition of “the peak of romance”. I willingly put this anime as the best comedic romance anime below Kaguya-sama: Love is War.
Standing applause for the production team for creating this magnificent anime and hoping that will be a season 3 sooner or later ❤

The anime itself its pretty decent. I didn’t expect that much when i read the title. The show truly delivers what it is supposed to be delivered which are harem and isekai. The conflicts / problems didn't feel quite impactful but it’s decent. Here are the score for each aspects :
Story 6/10 : the story feels a little stale and seems the storyline keeps repeating in a loop. The best plot is just in the middle of the entire series. The ending didn’t feel quite impactful too
Art 7/10 : Beautiful scenery displayed in this anime. The animation is almost the same like any other isekai

Sound 7/10 : Some of the voice acting is spot on but some felt kinda short and it doesn't fit the character. OP was pretty good, but ED feels common.
Character 6/10 The main character is like other MC but just this MC is overpowered. MC doing mc like going save people and be kind. The supporting personality didn’t shine through and kind of mid.
Enjoyment 8/10 : The enjoyment of this anime is the harem part. The fact that it uses the harem like a beast is quite creative and interesting. The good group beats the bad guys always gonna be loved by the fans. For this type of anime, it’s quite enjoyable.
Hopefully this anime can learn more and become even better in the future.

Hikikomari kyuuketsuki no monmon is one of the most interesting anime in fall 2023. The vampire girl, named Terakomari Gandesblood or Komari seems like an ordinary girl who enjoys her life as a shut-in. She considered herself as the weakest vampire. But little did she knew, she got special “abilities” and not the weakest. meets their new friends along the way. This anime serves some great gags, incredible animations, awesome supporting characters, top notch VA, and many more which will be explained in the paragraphs below.
Story (8/10)
The stories mainly is focusing on some comedies and sometimes to resolve the problems that faced by Komari as a MC or other people. It starts with some gags but in the next part it contains a lot of backstories that can make viewers enjoy the plot. It starts the MC as a funny and loveable person then start getting serious with MC’s past and other character issues. It developed the main character to become the better person with kind heart. But the downpoint of this plot is some storylines is a bit fast pacing which didn’t explain some aspects of the story clearly like the ways of dark core works or when someone using ritual article or not that can make the watchers a bit confuse. Another downpoint is that the ending feels ordinary and not special at all where some previous episodes better serves as the ending than the actual ending. Overall, the story had some great backstories with simple forwarding story with comical gags throughout the screening of this anime.
Art (10/10)
The style of art in this anime is really beautiful and corresponds with its genre which are comedy and fantasy. The representation of the places is drawn beautifully. The art for its gag is well executed with great facial expression and goofy styles. But most importantly the animation for the fighting scene is astonishing. They give incredible effects and focus on the detail such as adding swollen faces, blood splatters, and a little gore effect that makes the viewers hype up for the battle scenes. Well done!
Sound (8/10)
Let's talk about their seiyuu first. The seiyuus were incredible at voicing each every one of the character. For example, Komari voiced by Tomori Kusonoki had this cheerful and pure type of voice that depicts her personality. Even the supporting character has incredible voice like Milicent with a voice that depicts her as a cunning villain or Sakuna with her low and shy girl type of voice. I am amazed by the wide range of tone and pitch of each character. Unfortunately, the OP and ED song feels lacking and seems common like ordinary OP and ED. But on the bright side, the background music is variative and supports the scene really well. Some even better with playing vampire-like themes using organ instruments. Sound aspect is still great though.

The personality of each character really showed up in this anime. Main character with her silliness and yet capable of creating meaningful situation in the story. Each side characters also showed some distinctive nature like shy character, merciless character, etc. What a great display of personalities from each character.
Enjoyment (9/10)
If you want to watch chilled anime, then this anime will be a perfect choice. The story mostly is light, but yet sometimes it can get serious too. The comedy in this anime is on point not too much and not too little. The vampire theme really depicted really well in this anime, that totally showcase the vampire’s lifestyle. And dont forget the incredible animation and art, that makes this anime looks aesthetic with a lot of great additional effects. But unfortunately, the plot sometimes didn’t explain wholly and can be stale at some point. But overall, i really enjoy this masterpiece.
Hikikomari kyuuketsuki no monmon is one of the great underrated anime in fall 2023. It presented the comedy anime that still had great storyline. While still offering vampire type fantasy anime, the animation was astonishing and the voice acting was spot on. This anime highly recommended for you who wants to enjoy lightweight anime with great humour with decent plot. Even though this anime focusing on the gags and jokes, the quality of the other aspects still maintained really well. Appreciation for the whole production team, hopefully this anime can release its second season in the future.

Oshi no Ko comes out with a great surprising anime in this season that take a peek of the entertainment industry and connecting the social media with entertainment figures. The premier of 1st episode really blew the audience away with a compelling story and the amazing portraying of characters. The advantages of this anime had was the beautiful animation and the great soundtrack choices to live up the nuance of certain scenes. lot of credits in the beginning, the first episode outshine some of the next episodes that gives a high expectation for audiences at first. Some episode even feels stale with lack of emotions and just be there as filling episode. Another shortcoming of this anime is that for the ending, it’s not impactful enough to be the ending, but rather the last episode feels like the hinting for continuation to the next season. But keep in mind that this anime has a lot to uncover than just focusing on the first season.
Story (9/10)
The written story is mind-blowing. It involves the previous life story of the main character (Ai, Aqua, and Ruby) that has a significant role in the main story. The plot isn’t just focused on the main characters for this season, but it involves supporting character’s plot too from Akane or kana that makes the whole anime fills with rich storytelling. The story that still relevant to the audience's social life and tackles some important issues of the entertainment industry and public figures. Unfortunately, the ending is still a bit of that more focused on the continuation of the story rather than bringing emotion feeling to the audiences. But for reminding, the production team probably doing this intentionally with upbringing news of the production of Oshi No KO season 2.
Art (10/10)
The art style for this anime is just flawless. The detail of each character’s drawing is just spot on especially in eyes and hairline parts. The drawing of the places is really spot on that gives the vibes of being the exact location as in the anime. Some of the romantic scene is drawn really well and beautiful. The fear aspect arise as the graphic become more realistic and they keep added the shade in the right place. The art is something to remember from this anime. Amazing.

The voice actors/actresses really ensoul the character’s personality to perfection. The tone they are using is so variative and spot on according to the situation that character putting into. The usage of perfect soundtrack to enhance the audience’s attention to draw in more to the story. Not to mention, one of the best opening and ending songs for spring 2023 came from this anime.

The main characters showed the contradicting personality which is a great way to progress this anime. This anime also gives spotlights to other two supporting characters that enhance the audience’s experiences. Even the minor supporting characters have a distinctive personality that can be supporting main characters existence really well. If you like a character with perfect tsundere personality or a character that shy but having powerful skills, then this anime served that kind of awesome characters. All characters displayed in each their own uniqueness that makes them more likeable. The villains is portrayed as the persons who can manipulate and destroy the good characters that succeeded of giving the evil images to audiences.

When it comes to Oshi No Ko, it just more than a mere anime about idols and romances, its all about the manipulations and “don’t judge a book by it’s cover” theme which is makes this anime really really special. It feels like all the staffs giving a big efforts to create this masterpiece that resulted of this anime being one of the top contenders of best anime in Spring 2023. The animation and sound’s composing really makes this anime worth to watch. Compelling story is another reason. The element of surprises and unpredictable moments is really shine through and it makes audiences wanting to go deep into the stories and rewatch it as one of the anime that has strong mystery plot out there. Even though, some episode still showing a little staleness but this anime hinders it with a great conflicts and climaxes.
In conclusion, Oshi No Ko is not your ordinary anime series. It’s slow pacing that focusing on creating an impactful storyline, it’s what makes it one of the best. The animation and music that makes audiences want to draw in deeper. We can’t deny that the first episode really gives the big popularity of this anime as more it’s progress slowly to achieve aqua and ruby goals. A few of the episodes feel dull, but it’s quickly hinders by compelling main stories. Overall, this anime gives the something unique with feelings of excitement, funny, sad, and fearful that delivered well to the viewer’s emotion. This is one of the best anime in spring 2023.
I want to thank all the staffs and production for their hard work in creating this such as masterpiece. Their efforts of times and energies really resulted in this dazzling gem that be considered as one of the best anime in Spring 2023. I am already hearing the news of the upcoming season 2 and wish all best of luck to the production process of season two!!!
