Dress Up Darling and Don't Tease Me Nagatoro both feature couples comprised of an energetic, popular gyaru and a shy, unpopular artist to start with both partners changing as a result of their relationship. -Dress Up Darling's focus is divided between the cosplay sequences and the couple's internal feelings for each other. Their work relationship and their feelings for each other are connected but also gives rise to complications. -Don't Tease Me Nagatoro uses a more standard SOL approach to demonstrate how much the relationship changes Nagatoro and Senpai as people. Their relationship is the sole focus of the manga with their hobbies used as reflections of personal growth.

Shimoneta to Iu Gainen ga Sonzai Shinai Taikutsu na Sekai
add

Dystopian authorities wield shame to control and suppress the populace, forcing the heroes to bare themselves and take down the system. Both shows embrace "low-brow" material as ultimately natural and necessary aspects of the self that must be fought for even at the cost of one's own life or reputation. Once you feel comfortable in your own skin you open yourself up to your true potential and doing the impossible.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners
add

Edgerunners and Psycho-Pass function as excellent examples of the cyberpunk genre with similar strengths but different tones and perspectives. Edgerunners examines those on the margins partnering together and crossing each other as needed to survive in the brutally unforgiving world of Night City controlled by mega corporations. The color and style of the show are bright and flashy which to speaks to the multitude of identities being haphazardly thrown together and forced to stand out to get ahead. Psycho-Pass takes place in an ostensibly utopic society where people's state of minds can be assessed by the state. It tackles the ethics of an "ideal society" and the role of and causes for criminality. Psycho-Pass feels straight out of a hardboiled noir detective film with realistic designs and a dark, cool color palette.

Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi
add

Both shows are slice of life comedies with a fair amount of focus on romance, even if they aren't overt couples... yet. These shows excel based on the fun dynamics presented in the chosen pairings, strong comedic expression, and a warm loving feeling associated with watching these characters. The largest difference comes with the difference of setting, as My Annoying Senpai focuses mainly on adults in the workplace while Nozaki-kun follows high school students.

Osananajimi ni Najimitai
add

Both are romantic comedies centered on childhood friends who had drifted apart and since reunited, but now with their sexual differences more pronounced the relationship is inevitably changed. -Tomo-chan starts with the male love interest, Jun, failing to recognize Tomo's charm since she's tall and still acts very boyish. Tomo tries to increase her feminine appeal with the help of the sadistic Misuzu and airheaded Carol as a result. -Osanajimi reunites the main pair after 10 years apart with Matsuri replaying much of her tomboyish behavior back then but now flustering Daisuke as a result of her feminine transformation.

Fetiple
add

Both manga are adorable romcoms that unapologetically put their fetishes front and center, as a result both lean towards the realm of the absurd. Still, both series have genuine heart put into the romances which provides a nice balance to the comedy. The primary differences between the two series can largely be attributed to setting- with How to Treat a Lady Knight Right being a fantasy world while Fecchipura is set in "the real world."
