I Am a Hero started of fairly strong with great artwork and yet managed to blow it all up with its terrible ending. The plot stopped making sense at some point and by the end left too many questions unanswered; as if the author simply gave up and duct-taped something on.
Main character aside there really isn't many meaningful development (as far as I can tell) with certain events turning having minimal impact, if at all, to the plot. The random side stories that crop up doesn't alleviate this either although a bit of world building wouldn't hurt I suppose.
TL;DR: Great start, terrible end.

The description doesn't lie, the main character literally communicates mostly in haiku (feel free to count). As for plot, I'm not sure what to make of it as it feels like it's stagnant or slow at times (as of this moment). Slice of Life is not something I typically touch but this one is something I can recommend, I happen to like haikus so it worked out for me.
