TL; DR It is painfully generic isekai trash in Overlord cosplay from discount store outlet.
I rate it (4) Bad.
Story (2): There is basically no story. MC just reacts to random things that happen for no reason. There is only a hint of continuity and actual goal for the MC, but it is played off as a joke. World building is almost non-existent. There are several countries and factions introduced during the show, but we barely learn anything about them to the point they are indistinguishable.
Art (5): Art is mediocre and uninspired at best. It looks like someone used generic stock assets that were included by
...
default for the software this anime was made in. The only thing that looks custom-made is MC's armor.
On a positive note, the mandatory low budget CGI isn't as noticeable as in some other titles.
Sound (6): I actually liked the opening song. Sometimes there was some interesting background music, but most of the time it was generic or ill-fitting. Voice acting wasn't great, but there were no glaring errors. I would say audio was the strongest point of this anime.
Characters (2): There are no actual characters in this anime. There is only one character that gives a hint of being able to have an actual thought in her mind, and it is the Younger Princess of the whatever country the MC started in, but it is quickly squandered with suggestions that she too will become a one dimensional NPC.
MC is a mindless, one dimensional, overpowered cliché.
Support characters are mindless, one dimensional clichés.
"Antagonists" are mindless, cackling and/or drooling, one dimensional clichés.
Enjoyment (2): It is hard to watch. Almost all scenes are the most generic stuff you can think of, and the only surprise is that creators still managed to misuse them. There was an attempt to deviate from the mind-numbing norm with the "edgy" scenes of brutal and disgusting acts. Unfortunately because of bland characters and overuse of clichés, scenes that should compel the audience to feel righteous anger towards the "bad guys" and sense of satisfaction after they were dealt with didn't work and instead came off as some sick fetish stuff.
